Looking for a link to enable me to download previous versions of Firefox for support/troubleshooting purposes
My team tests an enterprise e-commerce site and I'm looking for a link to download previous versions of Firefox so we can work trouble tickets that come in against specific versions of the browser

Foolishly tried to update to 4.0 which, once downloaded said it would not work on my OS, but also overrode my previous version so I deleted the lot thinking I'd start over and download the earlier version, however I CAN'T FIND IT ANYWHERE. What's going on with that? Thanks.
I have PPC - thanks, I'll have a look at that website. I downloaded v3.6.17 but still having a problem - maybe didn't erase fully the previous version and it's getting stuck. I'm going to delete everything and start over as Firefox is my preferred browser.

Have already tried the various solutions suggested in support pages for this problem. Have also re-installed from full installation file instead of automatic update. Nothing helps.
Thank you, James. I will certainly use the url you provided to download v8.0 which is what I wanted. (BTW. I wasn't stupid enough to install Aurora when I saw it wasn't the file it was supposed to be.)
I agree that I should not have had to go to an unofficial download site. I'm well aware of the risks of using such sites. But I searched the Mozilla and Firefox sites repeatedly for several days seeking different version nos of Firefox (including 8.0) and my searches have returned no matches. If Mozilla allowed this url to be found, it would make things much easier.
I understand the concerns about security vulnerabilities but a version of Firefox that hangs (permanently) as soon as it opens is of no use and does not allow us to search for solutions. In this case, the only option is to downgrade and use that older version to get online and then search for possible solutions to the upgrade problems. It isn't about using the older version indefinitely, just for problem solving so we can upgrade to the latest secure version. -
I can't download any version of firefox for windows 7.
I'm having serious trouble downloading the file for windows. I've tried on a PC with windows 7 using both safari and IE 8. I've also tried with a mac using osx snow leopard with both safari and firefox. The file can't be found. All the other version seem to be there just fine. What's going on?
Great questions. It takes me to a screen that tells me the server can't find the file. Here is the exact message:
"Safari can’t open the page.
Safari can’t open the page “http://mirror.leaseweb.com/software/mozilla/firefox/releases/5.0.1/win32/en-US/Firefox%20Setup%205.0.1.exe” because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection. This sometimes occurs when the server is busy. Wait for a few minutes, and then try again."
I've tried coming from various websites, using various computers and browsers. It still gives me this message or one similar.

My tesm develops .net applications that must support many browsers and we need access to download older versions of FireFox for windows and mac computers, so that we can test our application prior to rolling out a new version.

If you can't run the latest version because your system doesn't meet the requirements, it's highly recommended that you use another browser that is secure. TenFourFox is a third-party build of Firefox that is kept up-to-date and runs on Mac OS X 10.4 and PowerPC Macs (as a side note, I've never seen the site go down; whatever problems James noticed 9 months ago must've been a fluke).

What is your current operating system? It needs to be at least Snow Leopard 10.6.8 in order to have the App Store available.

I get the following error message: Gone The requested resource / is no longer available on this server and there is no forwarding address. Please remove all references to this resource. Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. IE & Chrome work just fine - and the previous version of Firefox (10.0.1) also worked. Looking for a fix or I will need to abandon Firefox. Thanks.

How can I download a previous version of firefox? for mac
I am a gov employee and only the older versions of firefox are compatible with our fedtraveler website. They list we must use firefox 3.0, 3.5, 3.6, 4.o, 5.0, 6.0, or 7.0 (for Mac osx Lion) only. The latest version 9.0 either does not work or is blocked for security reasons. I cannot find any of the older versions to download. Need help

Sorry to hear about this limitation. There are a lot of benefits to running the latest version of Firefox.

Resolution
Move the mouse or trackpad cursor over the center area of the login window so you can see the user icons. Click on the icon of the user that you would like to login as, type in the user's password, and press Return.
If the login window is configured to show only the name and password fields, type in the user's name and password into the fields, and press Return (even if you cannot see the rest of the login window).
Additional Information
This issue will not occur if the display is not sleeping when the account is logged out. Use the steps below to confirm that the account is not configured to log out automatically while the display is sleeping:
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. Click the padlock to unlock the preference pane and enter your admin password. Click the Advanced button at the bottom, then see if the option "Log out after N minutes of inactivity" (where N is the number of minutes) is enabled.
Open System Preferences > Energy Saver and configure Display Sleep to occur after the account is logged out, by dragging the slider to a number of minutes that is greater than N was set to in the previous step.
Important: If automatic log out is not needed, disable "Log out after Nminutes of inactivity" in System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General. This will also prevent the issue.

I'd have to scrape the page to find the one I want, and while that isn't impossible it is a huge over-complication for something that should really be pretty simple.

Need to Install Safari 6.0.2 on a white Intel core duo iMac. Had to throw out 6.0.3 because of conflict with required software. Downloaded wrong version that was for Mountain lion (I am running 10.7.5). It installs but won't open, says it is for Mountian Lion.
Of course I can't throw it away since I get a message it's part of the sytem. I want to submit a grant application at Pepsi refresh, however they recommend Firefox 3, 3.5 or 4 - not 3.6, which is what I'm using on my Mac 10.4.11. Can I download another version of Firefox so I can apply for this grant? How can I do this?
If you want to add a new user-agent into User Agent Switcher, you go into preferences > New. Most of the blanks are filled in already, so just change the Mozilla revision number that will be at the end of the User Agent line. To fake 3.5.19, just change rv:1.9.2.19 to rv:1.9.1.19. For the description, put in "Firefox 3.5.19".
