Looking for a Mapping/Route Planning program for my Macbook Pro...
I use to use "Streets & Trips" on my PC. I am at a loss what is a good program for Apple.
Would appreciate any guidance. Thanks.

Right. I am not familiar with Streets and Trips and the GPS device that came with it but I think that is specific to Microsoft. You can get a similar device that plugs into your Mac the same as the Streets and Trips Device plugged into your PC. The navigation software comes with it or you can download the software.
Use Google to find Mac compatible devices. I think CoPilot Live, TomTom, and Garmin have compatible devices. But I use my phone for navigation so am not 100% sure that each of those companies have Mac compatible navigation packages that are similar to Streets and Trips.

What 3rd party companies are there that offer a photo printing service for ipad2 users? I suppose I am looking for a similar service to iPhoto on the MacBook pro but so far I've had no joy. I'm uk based.

I purchased Final Cut Pro X App on the Apple App Store and was wondering how I also get it downloaded on my ipad#2AS WELL….. I paid for FCPX and want it on both my Macbook Pro, and my iPad2, can i do this, if so how?
There's no way FCP X will run on an iPad - sorry.

Can someone connect in FaceTime if they are using a friends Macbook Pro, yet, doens't have an Apple ID?? For example, I have an IPAD and a Macbook Pro. Can I connect to FaceTime on my Macbook Pro and connect with a friend using my IPAD????
I have also tried changing the contact emails(you can contact me by) in Facetime(diff email for IPAD and Macbook Pro). Facetime tried the call, I see the accept buttom appear and it goes away as the call never connects? Any ideas??

i got windows 8 installed with bootcamp on my macbook pro late 2010 (5, 5) and theres no sound coming out of it, so i installed an nvidia audio driver (idk, it could be the incorrect one) but i have nvidia GeForce 320 on my macbook.

The Creative Cloud App for desktop can't be installed on my Macbook pro
I've have bought the Photoshop + Lightroom applications via the creative cloud. I can download the installion file for Crative Cloud app for desktop and I can start the installation process but it is interrupted halfway through with a message saying "The following problem have encountered: Creative Cloud for desktop could not be installed". There are no hints for any solution. I've tried to use Opera instead of Safari but the same thing happens. Is there anyone that knows what the solution for this problem is? Sincerely Lars

Rename OOBE folder with OOBEOLD ( Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder )
Run the Adobe cleaner ( http://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/en/support/AdobeCreativeCloudC leanerTool.dmg )
Remove Adobe application Manager/Adobe creative cloud .
Restart the computer and redownload Adobe Creative cloud and install it.

After instaling the update for OS yesterday (saturday 7.10.2012) my macbook pro will not start. The instaling proses start but stopp after 2-3 minutes. I have started mayby 10 tims know but it stops every time. Help, its just a monts ago my iMac hard fail
Actually it sometimes gets a little further, the display will dim and the pointer will appear and then whoop it will turn off. if i do a verbose start up, it will finish all the steps, the white screen will appear and dim and then it will turn off.

How do I uninstall programs from my MacBook Pro?
I am new to Mac and don't fully understand how to uninstall a program from my Macbook Pro. I've been having some problems with the Sims 3 (Probably some custom content that was bad) and I want to completely uninstall The Sims 3 from my laptop. How do I do this? I have heard that some people say to just delete the folder from my Applications, but being that I come from PC that doesn't seem like it gets rid of everything to me. Anything would be helpful. Here are the steps:
Manually Uninstalling The Sims 3 from a Mac
Delete the /Applications/The Sims 3 folder (or any for a Stuff of Expansion pack).
Delete the /Users/"User"/Library/Preferences/The Sims 3 Preferences folder.
Delete the /Users/"User"/Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 folder.
Note: This file can be saved as a backup to retain save games, simply rename it. -

You have several options.
1, Use a Virtual Machine like Vmware, Parallels etc... to Create a Virtual Windows Installation and Run your program in there. A Virtual MAchine will runn in a Window on your Desktop and share your Mac's resources RAM HD space processor. Your MAc desktop will still be available while you run Windows install.

2. Install Windows on a partition using Bootcamp. It will run a full installation of Windows you can boot into, and run your programs. The Mac desktop will not available until your reboot the computer and start in OSx instead of Windows.

My mail program on my macbook pro suddenly won't let me send e-mails even though I can receive e-mails. I have checked with the connection doctor and it shows me everything is fine. The program haas been running perfectly fine for the last year, but now its bugging out. Can anyone give me any tipe on how to fix this? Thank you.
The problem is one of the following:
Your SMTP server is provided by a carrier which only allows the outgoing mail server to be used when you are connected to their network. Receiving emails will always work, but sending emails will only work when you are connected via their connection;
Your SMTP server is down - contact your email provider -
