Hi.
I had a similar problem myself. This is what helped me.
I went to the App store app, scrolled to the bottom, logged out of the account, re logged in with my Apple ID. Then went back to app updates. Once I put in my ID password all was fine.

I'm looking for a passwords app for both my desktop and my iPhone 4S that will sync without using the Cloud and will import data from Passwords Plus. Anything available?

I downloaded the desktop version and I'm giving it a try. Once you buy it, can you add fields in addition to the 4 that appear in the New Entry Dialog box. I have much more information in my Passwords Plus data base than it looks like PasswordWallet keeps.

I have not restored device so have all my data on it still. Am not pluggin it in for first time, did this originally when setting up phone. I have an option to restore to original backup as well as 'set up as new'. What happens if I chose the 'restore from backup' option.' how do I go about backing it up first - if i right click 'iphone'' option on left hand side under devices the only option is'eject' or 'restore'. I'm not sure that my iphone is being recognised by itunes - should it not give the name of my iphone under devices?

I am using 1Password. So far it has satisfied all of my needs on my PowerMac, MacBook Pro and iPhone.
Shortly after installing it I had a problem. I called their technical support who were very responsive. They had me download a new version that was that had not been released yet. It solved my problem for me.
I highly recommend it.

I'm looking for a simple, secure, free app to store my passwords in. I did a google search and there are hundreds out there. I'd like to use one that someone here has had experience with. I don't want anything sophisticated or something that syncs. Just something to store my passwords on my iphone.

Looking for Administrator password on CE1\J00

I have successfully installed the CE Development System for SAP NW CE7.1 SP3 for MS SQL Server on a VM running XP SP2. I am now attempting to install Additional Components, and the install wizard is asking for the Administrator password for J00 on CE1. I did not set this password during the previous install, and do not know what the default password would be.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Sounds really strange ... deploying applications on SAP's Java server should be impossible without the password of an Administrator user (user with the Administrators role). The same account should be fine for deploying additional components or logging to the portal ... are you sure you were able to deploy applications on CE or did you run them on another server?
As for the accounts during installation: if you selected default mode in the installer it asks for one single password and then it sets that passwords to all of the users in the system (the Java server administrator, database admin and database schema user, ICM's webadm, SecureStore's keyphrase ... all passwords). If you do not remember that password there's a procedure to reset the password for the Java server administrator ... AFAIR it was described somewhere in a SAP note. Do you have access to notes (I guess this means access to Service Marketplace)?

This is an iPad Air keeps asking for a iCloud password but doesn't do any good as it cannot open and connect to the internet until activated. Would just do a complete initialization as do not know how to get there.

I just got done fixing my PB from the 10.4.9 software help and realized I had not secured my Belkin 802.11b network. I thought I set up everything correctly but when I tried to enter my WEP passcode my password does not work. Could someone please tell me how I can get into my wireless router without throwing it through a window.

Try the following:
- Refer to the following Apple Article on how to connect Macs to third-party routers using WEP: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106424
- Reset your Belkin router back to it's factory defaults and trying setting it up again. Most third-party routers have a reset switch on the back of the unit. You should check with your Belkin's Owner's Manual on the exact procedure.

When I try to run it as current use it will still not download

SAVE the installer to your hard drive (do not use the "Run" option); save it to your Desktop so that you can find it. When the download is complete, close whatever browser you have open, click or double-click the file you downloaded and see if it installs without a problem.
The downloader is a self-extracting archive and should not need or use 7-zip. I have 7-zip installed on my system and it does not interfere with nor is it used in the Firefox install process. Hopefully, you have not set the downloading of .exe files to be associated with 7-zip.

When starting Mozilla Firefox 3.6, I get an error window which opens up additionally overtop my browser windows stating:
"Javascript Application"
followed with :
"Invalid username/password combination. If you continue to get this error, try entering your email address as your username."
Obviously it is happening with one of my email addresses/usernames & password combinations of which I know the username for (which I choose not to post here) and I'm not sure where to begin looking for a resolution to this problem.

I was able to resolve this by disabling (under Tools - Add-ons) Yahoo! Mail Notifier

Looking for a good Password Manager App for the iPhone

I'm looking for a good and reliable Password Manager App for the iPhone with sync capabilities on macs. I've read several reviews on several different apps on iTunes, and either they don't work properly, or they're a rip off, or they just don't sync or all of the above. Any recommendations?

Looking for App/Setting for Messages/Mail password protection

Well its a bit simply really, I am just looking for something that will allow me to password protect mainly my messages, although it would be nice if i could password protect other apps or things on my phone, but its mainly for messages
Is there some kind of app that will allow me to do this?
I dont think there is anything in settings but a general password, which it only asks for when you unlock the phone

I've has smartphones since before they were called that, and I've never had one that could password protect only the email app. There's nothing to understand or not understand; the iPhone cannot password protect just email. You can lock the phone with a passcode. That's it.
