I saw some at Easyhome for $22 a week for 2 yr term I was told way to much. close to over 2thousand dollers. Anyhow can some one give me phone numbers for Ontario that can sell the phones for cheaper then them I am with Bell thanks or even if I look on kijiji or ebay. Please help thanks they sell them unlocked as well but not sure if there GSM hope not?

I thought the E71 would not do 2.2 on my list that is I start from zhuhai and it tracks me to GuangZhou and then I can check my route can it do this.
My main thing is on the list that list that is.

I'm looking for a new PDA/Phone that is iSync 2.4 compatible for my new AT&T account. I will switch to iPhone early in the new year but need a PDA/Phone now. Appantly AT&T is out of Nokia PDAs' at the moment.

The 10.6 iSync Compatible devices list is still up-to-date except for the references to Palm devices. Apple has not added any new devices to iSync since Leopard was released in October 2007.
Mobile me and other work arounds are also not an option for me , as I travel allot and the international data roaming charges would easily exceed the price of the iPhone within one month.
MobileMe works over WiFi too, so you could just turn off 3G/GPRS data whilst roaming and sync when connected via WiFi.

Do you mean a you want a physical QWERTY keyboard? That's going to limit your choices considerably, and any Windows Mobile or Blackberry devices will need third-party software to sync with a Mac. Palm's WebOS is not yet syncable with a Mac except for going via Google over-the-air, and the same is true with Android devices.
There are hundreds of Nokia & Sony Ericsson phones that sync via Bluetooth and have POP3/IMAP email clients, but almost all don't have a QWERTY keyboard.
Also, unless you buy the phone unlocked, you'll be even more limited by what your network provider offers.

There's no way to do those things on an iPad. If you have already installed a new application on the iPad (Disk Drill) then your file has probably already been overwritten. Sorry.

I am a avid trekker visiting remote places in my country Nepal
I have been a consistant user of Nokia phone since I started using mobiles. I usually carry two phone currently its C2-01 and nokia 1208
Its very sad to see the B/W phones phone replaced by Nokia 105. Although nokia 105 is a good phone there are many people including myself that wants B/W phones because it is visible in bright daylight and because i can turn off back light to conserve battery when on move.
So my suggestion is that you bring the Nokia 105 with e-ink screen version or at least B/W version as 1208. This would make a very good, long battery life mobile phone. I think many will prefer to have this as second phone. I have tried 105, it is already durable enough. If possible do put option to disable backlight through profiles as with e-ink display back light is not necessary.
I hope you consider this because its not for me its for you. I have always liked Nokia phones want it to improve

ITunes wifi sync 'looking for iPhone' then ejects phone

I have sought an answer to this for a long while with no success. So I have joined ASC to see if any of you folks may help
My Hardware:
Apple iPhone 4s
MacBook Pro (2009)
TP-Link Router (TD-W8961ND)
My Problem:
iPhone connects to mac over wifi and shows up in itunes.
When I initiate a sync itunes pauses and states 'looking for iPhone'
The iPhone is then ejected from itunes, without syncing (and no longer shows until I restart itunes)
Further info:
I believe this is a router issue as wifi sync works flawlessly over other networks I have used.
I have enabled uPnP (and have tried disabling it and resetting the router etc).
I DO NOT believe this is an issue with itunes, iphone or Mac as I can sync over other peoples networks
Any help appreciated.

But as you've indicated before, the article also mentions the potential of what you've already determined. It does work on other networks:
Test your device on a different network. If the device works on another network, the issue most likely exists with your router or network configuration. Contact your router manufacturer or Internet service provider for additional troubleshooting.

Looking for a reason to stay with Verizon as my monthly plan cost has increased dramatically in the past year. Forced to change plan at last upgrade, and lines that used to be $10/mo are now $30/mo. I cannot afford this any longer.

When I last upgraded, I was told that my current plan (unlimited data was no longer an option) was obsolete. I had to go with the family plan and choose a data plan. Also, the non-smartphones on the account are now $30/mo rather than $10 as they used to be. The cost of service has increased dramatically in the last 18 months. Why, when other services are offering unlimited data and less expensive monthly lines, does Verizon not offer this to at the very least, long-time, loyal customers?

However his reply was 100% spot on. You may not like his answer but not liking it does not change the accuracy of it.
If you purchased at full price the unlimited data would have stayed.
But when people say upgrade they normally mean a free phone or greatly reduced phone with a two year contract.
The plan change was not necessary unless you purchased smart phones. If you were buying clam shell basic phones only then no plan changes should have been done.
You had 14 days to back out of the deal. Because you did not do so does not mean Verizon did not explain all your options.
You can port out and have Sprint or T-Mobile refund your early termination fees. I read this morning AT&T is also doing this on a limited basis.
Or you can go to Boost mobile or Net10 or Cricket prepaid all you can eat unlimited talk, text and data.
Also look at consumer cellular they may be just what you need.
They range from $10 to $50 check them out.

Looking for a good music phone

i am selling my Samsung Galaxy S as i am very disappointed with its poor battery life and various bugs that came along with it. even with Froyo 2.2 the only thing that would save its day would be an excellent battery life, a fully-optimised software with Google Android and a good network signal which in my case i don't have. what i do want is is a phone that has a fairly good music player:
1. stereo sound (surround or otherwise)
2. ability to edit/make a playlist on-the-fly
3. add songs to the playlist on-the-fly
4. customisable and preset EQ settings
5. must have an FM radio
6. preferably a touchscreen (or anything!)
Plus the usual "basic" apps like Twitter, Facebook, some dictionary or Wiki app, a weather app, London Tube app and not those fancy apps like Layar, etc.
the phones that springs to mind are the Nokia's, Sony Ericsson Walkman phones and Samsung with their patended 3.0 DnSE sound thingy.
max budget is a modest £150 to £200*.....
any sugestions guys...?

Stock lock screen does not normally support 3rd party widgets so you wont find any third party players that allows you access while on lock screen.. When I am checking my office voice mail remotely with my 3G iphone, I can go to favorites or contacts and dial my office phone number. But then I have to manually dial my office number plus #, then wait 4 seconds and dial my pin plus #. Also, I have to touch "Speaker" or the office voice mail will not hearing the touch tones.
Is there an app that will dial the office number plus #, wait 4 seconds, then dial the pin plus # by pressing just one button? My treo had a dial feature that would dial my office voice mail number, pause 1 second per entered comma, plus pin by pushing only one button. Also, how do I make the office voice mail hear the touch tones without using speaker?

Well you can enter pauses as well with the iPhone in your contact list saved number. As for the voice mail service not getting your key entries unless on speaker, not sure.

My group has used the Sun Electronics PC-1000 Process Controller for some time, with good results. There are some instructions in the beginning of this Engineering Note (pdf link) that discribe how to iteratively determine the PID coefficients for a linear system. I'm not a mathematician, so I can't vouch for whole document, but their somewhat antiquated instruments DO work

I guess I just have to try it out... I'm sure I'll enjoy myself...

there used to be a nokia which had a special feature where you could have entered a message and afterwards you had to shake the phone and some (i think red) leds wer displaying the message in the "air".

After vibrating for no reason the phone turns blank!

My wife's iPhone 4 just starts vibrating and then turns blank. We can only revive it by holding the HOME + Power Button.
Does anyone has any clue on what to do?
