Looking for a recently played tracker

I'm using ITunes 8 and Tangerine BPM earlier to build my Jogging playlists, but i'm looking for something to tell me more than just the skip count, does any one know if any way, or any App, that can tell me at what point of a song skipped it.
Help is much appreciated
Thankyou

Now I only get one HKEYLOCALMACHINE\Software\
    QuicktimePlayerLib.QuicktimePlayerApp\CLSID.
some folks have been having some success with pgfpdwife's technique in the following post:
pgfpdwife: Re: Could not open key HKEYLOCALMACHINE\Software\Classic\Quicktime.Quicktime\
note carefully that the technique involves a registry edit. be sure to make a backup of any keys you edit. if you're unfamiliar with your registry or registry editing, head to your XP help and support, do a search on registry, and read through the articles that come up.
There are also some instructions on how to back up registry keys in the following document:

  • Recently played tracks not showing

I take my ipod classic to work with me everyday, i synched my ipod yesterday and it was showing that the last track played was on the 21st March. I've just synched it again and it now shows all the tracks i've listened to today, but still hasn't updated tracks from 1:24pm on Sunday until last night. Has this happened to everyone or just me? I'm a bit annoyed as (i know this sounds geekish) i like my ipod to calculate every track i've listened to so that i can see how many times i've listened to certain tracks! Any help with this would be gratefully received.

    A couple possibilities:
1- If you edit songs in your iTunes library (maybe add artwork, make corrections to Album name, etc.) then the updated songs will not show recent play history from your iPod when you sync it. Any songs that you did not edit will show a playcount (and/or rating) update.
2- If you reset your iPod in between syncs, you will lose any play history and rating changes since your last sync.
3- If you manually manage your iPod, your play history and rating changes will not update your iTunes library, except in the rare case where people auto-sync, then change to manual mode without re-loading the entire contents. In that case, your iPod will update your library even though it is in manual mode, but any songs that you manually added to the iPod will not update your library.
That is how syncing is supposed to work, so if none of that applies to you then maybe you ought to try resetting the iPod, or if that doesn't help then maybe restore it.

  • HT1688 looking for an ap to track an iphone

I am looking for an app that will track an iphone.

If you set up Find My iPhone on your device, you don't need an app. You can log into icloud.com and go to the Find My iPhone area. Apple does however offer an app that you can use to track an iPhone from another iPhone, iPad or iPod touch:
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/find-my-iphone/id376101648?mt=8
If you have lost your iPhone and did not set up Find My iPhone or install some other tracking app/service on it, then there will be no way to track the iPhone unless your cell carrier offers a tracking service.
    Regards.

  • Looking for a "Now Playing" Screensaver

I have my music collection on a older G4 in my Office. It's not my main Mac. I'll usually just shuffle through music in the background. What I want is a screensaver that comes on when I'm not using the Mac that shows me info of the current track iTunes is playing, like song title, artist, album art, etc. I don't want to use front row because then I can't use the Mac for anything else and I often use remote on my iphone to control the music. Does anyone know if anything like this exists? Thanks

    Try exploring these:

  • 24 female looking for people to play online with

I have no friends that have a ps4 so I cant play online and its getting boring ha so if anyone's keen to multiplay then add me I got cod AW and ghost, assasins creed untiy black flag, bloodborne, the last of us, wolfenstein, resident evil Lego movie and a couple more. Don't bother adding me if your just gonna be a tool though I don't have time for that lol.

By "tool", do you mean, spend all my game time attempting to sweet talk you into some type of online relationship that will never happen and then when I realise it's futile, turn on you, bully and threaten you and then call you a woman of ill repute to all your online friends?  Cause if you don't want me to follow the classic "lonely young male gamers online interaction with a female gamer formula" - then sadly I guess I wont friend you. If you're a dude pretending to be a chick though - call me!

    hello.
i wonder, have you resolved this problem? if not, i had the same problem, and it was really annoying me. i, too, posted a message on these boards - http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=3639877#3639877. nobody replied though. so, not knowing what else to do, i reset my ipod because i also had recently updated both my ipod and itunes software when i started having this problem. this seemed to fix it somehow.
if you are still having the problem, maybe try doing this.
let me know if this works for you :o)

  • Recently Played smart playist won't update

Normally, when I look at my Recently Played smart playlist, it shows songs that were played both on my computer and on my iPod (after I have synced it of course). I got a 5th generation Nano for Christmas, and ever since I have started using this iPod, the songs that I play on it no longer appear on my Recently Played smart playlist. I have searched this forum and tried everything people have suggested for similar problems (resetting the parameters of the smart playlist, etc.) and it's still not working.
I have the latest version of iTunes (since I know a lot of people were having problems when they upgraded) but I never had this problem with my old iPod nano. The reason this is so important to me is that I sync my Recently Played playlist with LastFM, and I also use it as the only playlist I have synced with my iPod (since I have too many songs to fit on it).
If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this I would really appreciate it because it is driving me crazy! Thank you so much

Are you manually managing the contents of the Nano (i.e. drag and drop) or do you auto-sync? If you manually manage the Nano you can still have a "Sync" button in iTunes, but clicking it won't sync play history from the iPod if it is in manual mode.
+(there is one exception to that -- if you auto-sync and then change to manual sync without removing the iPod contents, then clicking the Sync button in iTunes will continue to transfer play history and song rating changes from the iPod, even if it is in manual mode)+

  • Recently Played Playlist Problem

    Hello Guy,
I don't know if anyone can help me but I can't figure out what is wrong with my iPod and iTunes. Basically, I've played songs in my ipod after i sync it with iTunes I do not see songs in the playlist. Another words, for some reason, iTunes do not get updated from iPod.
I was wondering what could be the problem, because Playlist is organized in following way:
    Last Played: is After: 01/01/2005
Limit to 160GB: most recently played
    Live Update
It worked before for about 6 month now and it also worked 2 days after lastest update to iTunes and iPod, however songs do not get updated, can anyone help me with a tip.
    Thank you guys

All I'm asking for is help getting my iTunes to do what it did previously. This problem started sometime over the summer. I really need help with this, and I'd rather not have to go to a Genius Bar, especially because I'm on a timetable with this record.

Why do I want it the way it was? Because that was an accurate record, this is not.
Yes it is. It lists the most recently played tracks. If you listen to one song ten times, it will not list it ten times.
How is it accurate that if I listen to Welcome to the Jungle on Monday, Crystal Ship on Tuesday, Layla on Wednesday, Superstition on Friday, and Welcome to the Jungle on Saturday, it only lists Welcome to the Jungle once, as having been played Saturday? That's not accurate at all.
I could listen to an album of 11 songs sixty times and it will only show 11 entries in the Recently Played list.
Maybe. If it's set up to show only 11 songs, then yes.
It will show the songs based on the rules of the *Recently Played* playlist.
Select *Recently played* and right click - Edit playlist.
Mine is set up to show all song played in the last two weeks.
Mine is set up to show all songs in the last 18 months. I have listened to an album of 11 songs several times, in various orders (some songs 14 times, some 26 times) and there are only 11 items in my Recently Played list. I even made another Recently Played list to see if it was a glitch with the smart playlist, but it does the same thing. I tried making a list of "last played" to a limit of 700 songs; same result. I could listen to Shambala in August, then listen to 300 other songs, and listen to Shambala again in October, and iTunes will remove the August-dated play of Shambala and put it down as played in October, with no record of my having played it in August.

  • Multiple Plays not individually represented in Recently Played

I am having a problem with my Recently Played playlist. It overwrites if I listen to a song more than once. If I listen to a song, it puts it on there, but then if I listen to it again, it removes it from the list and places it at the top again. For instance, if I listen to an album that starts with a song called "Baby," it will show my Recently Played list as 1. Baby 2. Doll. . . etc, but if at the end of the album, I listen to Baby again, it will take it off the top of the list and put it on the bottom again. I could listen to an album of 11 songs sixty times and it will only show 11 entries in the Recently Played list. I don't want this. I want how it used to be, that if I listened to Baby twice in a session it would be at the top and the bottom of the list (or wherever it fell). If I listened to an album 20 times it would list all the songs 20 times, so I'd have 200+ entries in my Recently Played playlist. How can I do this?
I've tried going back to previous iTunes versions (I'm using 9.1.1, and have tried going back through the 9 versions and even to 7). I've tried adjusting my Recently Played preferences. Nothing works. I can't figure it out.
Why do I want it the way it was? Because that was an accurate record, this is not. Plus at the moment I'm trying to choose an order for an album and I want to have a record of each way I've listened to song placement.
    Thanks in advance!

  • Looking for an app that...

I am looking for an app to track something I do periodically easily. For example, there is a medication I take sometimes and I would like to go to a calendar type page and click on the date and have it record that I took that medication on that date.
The apps I have found require a lot more data entry each time. Just want something very simple to track this task.

Are you all using BES or BIS? If you're not on a BES then you can use a program called Google Sync. If you all have a gmail account you can use this program to wirelessly sync between your BlackBerry calendar and Gmail calendar. Read more about it here

  • Looking for an all around purpose media player (rather than iTunes)

    Hello Hello
In the PC environment there is the Winn Amp player. A good all-purpose free player, or pro version that can play just about any sound file.
It would be great top have a good utility player like that for MAC.
Apparently the Microsoft Media Player 9 for OS 10, is useless since all it plays are .wmv windows files. I downloaded it and it's just junk. It won't even open wav files.
Does anyone know where you could even BUY a nice reliable sound file player for MAC?
    Thanx
    Mike

Since iTunes has been around for so long on the Mac platform and bundled with every Mac, few users look elsewhere for for an audio player. If you're looking for something to play a wide array of audio formats, then Cog is a good option. It hardly does anything, and by that I mean that there are absolutely no bells and whistles, but it plays just about anything, and it's the only player for OS X that truly supports gapless playback.
Another very nice player for OS X is Whamb. It only plays MP3 and Ogg Vorbis, but it also supports radio streams in both those formats, and allows music sharing via Rendezvous. This player hasn't been updated for a long time, so it's PPC only (it won't work on Intel Macs). I use it for radio streams--I actually think it's the best player for that purpose, but I also like the logical "tree" organization it uses for music files.

  • Looking for Solaris 9 9/05 Software Supplement CD

Is there a Software Supplement CD for Solaris 9 9/05 (SPARC)? There was one for Solaris 9 9/04 but I can't find one for 9/05. I am referring the the Software Supplement CD (including VTS, RSC, ALOM, etc.), and not the Software Companion CD.
    Thanks

If you are looking for a recent Solaris 9 Software Supplement CD, these aren't available for download. You have to order/buy the Media Kit.
Sometime there was an image available with earlier Solaris 9 versions.
