Looking for a Status for Bug 12586745 - CREATE BOOKMARK LINK IGNORES REPORT

Back in May we had opened an SR with Oracle, and
they assigned our SR to Bug 12586745 - CREATE BOOKMARK LINK IGNORES REPORT PROMPTS
Where can I find more information on this BUG and possible solutions to it

I don't understand what you want. Do you want a link that will download a Dashboard to Excel? Why do you want to replace the "Create Bookmark..." link? What's that got to do with your requirement?

    I don't understand what you want. Do you want a link that will download a Dashboard to Excel? Why do you want to replace the "Create Bookmark..." link? What's that got to do with your requirement?

    I have a report which I have shown up as a link in my dashboard page.
    When the user clicks on the report it shows the create bookmark link option at the bottom alongwith the return link.
    Client doesnt want create bookmark link to show up...any idea how to remove it?
    the link shows up only in those reports which show up as link in the dashboard...the reports embedded in dashboard dont have any such link showing up

    find personalization.js file and modify it if you are confident of your scripting abilities. Take a backup of the file though. I got rid of the file since i was not using any of the features in it.

    Regarding the serial number status, you have to check the combination of three different tables:                                                                               
    EQUI - Equipment master data. In this table make note of the field 'Object number' (OBJNR), which is the primary key for:                                                                               
    JEST - Individual Object Status. This table contains the technical expression of the status in field 'Object status' (STAT), which is the primary key for:                                                                               
    TJ02 - System status. In this table you can find the texts for the system status in the fields TXT04 and TXT30.
    Then, here you have some other tables which you might also need:
    EQBS - Serial Number Stock Segment.
    SER01 - Document Header for Serial Numbers for Delivery.                                                                               
    SER02 - Document Header for Serial Nos for Maint.Contract (SD Order). 
    SER03 - Document Header for Serial Numbers for Goods Movements.                                                                               
    SER04 - Document Header for Serial Numbers for Inspection Lot.                                                                               
    SER05 - Document Header for Serial Numbers for PP Order.                                                                               
    SER06 - Document Header for Serial Numbers for Handling Unit-Content. 
    SER07 - Document Header for Serial Numbers in Physical Inventory.                                                                               
    SER08 - Document Header for Purchase Order Item Serial Numbers.

    we are displaying a report in which list of orders we are displaying in that system status also we need to dispaly for that the logic we have used is take OBJNR from AUFK by passing AUFNR and get all the active status for that AUFNR by passing AUFNR in to JEST by setting the inactive status is equal to space and then by comparing those system status with table TJ02 and we are taking the system status codes from that table. But my requirement is to display the user status in the order how we will get in order screen? In JCDS table am getting the entries based on date and time but unwanted status also it is showing. tell me is there any way to get the exact order how we will get in the order screen.

    Its client requirement. we need to show list of orders in a alv report for a particular selection. There for each and every order we are displaying the system status but it is not coming in proper sequence as compared with the order screen system status.

  • Report for Inventory Status for Serialized Materials

    I am trying to generate a report which would display the material #, all serial #s related to that material and the stock type for each of these serial#s. I currently following this approach, I will fetch all the material number from MARC for a particular plant, then for each MATNR, will check for EQUNR and SERNR in table EQUI. Then for each EQUNR will then check stock type in table EQBS. I believe each EQUNR is associated with one and only one SERNR (AM I CORRECT?). I will then display the MATNR, SERNR and LBBSA on the report. Can somebody tell me if the approach is correct? Just wanted your opinion.
    Also I have another issue. Whenever I try to find the stock type for a particular EQUNR in table EQBS, it gives a message saying that no data exists for this EQUNR in this table. I wanted to know what could be the possible reasons for this. I am currently investigating on the following reasons, 1. I think the material is flagged for deletion so that all the EQUNRs and SERNRs associated with that material will be deleted. However, I don’t know how to see all the material associated with a particular EQUNR? Another reason I think is that that EQUNR, or that SERNR does not have any quantity in SAP so no stock type. I could be wrong, but still searching. Can you think of something which could cause this problem (i.e. the message saying that no data exists for this EQUNR in table EQBS?)

    The report region displays no rows (even though there is one row in the table), no links, and even more strange, it show the value of APP_USER where it would normally display the results.

    Your end result on page 58 and the instructions in that document link don't seem to correlate. Regardless, I:
    1) Copied page 58 to page 158 in your application.
    2) Removed the BLOB format mask from your report link.
    3) Changed your query to:

  • Creating bookmark in BI report problem

    Hi!
    When having generated a certain report in a BI report running in a SAP portal i can right click and choose "Broadcast and Export" -> bookmark.
    But when I open the bookmark then I get the initial BI Report as it looked before I was putting any credentials inside it and getting the report generated.
    Is this problem a backend problem or is this a portal problem?

    Hi Jesper,
    The bookmark should work fine. If it is saved properly. If it opens the query without any changes, then it might be a problem with bookmark functionality in portal.
    Another way to cross check is to click on the "bookmark id" which is generated on the top right corner of the page as soon as u save a bookmark. It should navigate u to the saved bookmark query in another window.

    I am maintaining one equipment which needs the approval for the maintenance based on the hierarchy (From bottom level to   the top level). Also it is required the information about  the status of the equipment whenever it is going for approval at each level.Once the concerned person is approved at his level, the mail should trigger to the next level person sothat he would come to know the updated status of the equipment to enable further approval.
    1.Is it possible to map in PM as a sign of approval for maintenance in equipment master or by any method ?
    2.Is it possible to trigger the mail automatically once the concerned incharge approved his part ?

    b.)after saving , it goes to admin dept , for admin approval,user has to change the user status manually-here system checks wether the user is authorised to perform this function via key.this user cannot release the order
    c).then order is checked financally and user status is changed manually to FINA,and once order gets this status order can be released by this useras mentioned in business transaction
    Automatic Mail is possible through work flow...

    In your report source, you should use something similar to:
    Select empno , ....., '<a href= "#IMAGE_PREFIX# ........" >' Download from server '</a>' as "Download" from empWhere #IMAGE_PREFIX# stands for Static resources "i" in your web server. it should be in your case (for Windows):

  • PS2013 - When creating a new instance of Project Server hangs in 'Waiting for resources' status

    Hi,
    I have one instance of Project Server 2013 fully operational and I tried to duplicate the instance to make some tests. As I know the issue of using the same Content Database of Project Server in the same Server Farm, I used the powershell  backup/restore/dismount
    and mount the content database to change the site IDs to avoid index duplication. The Project server database was a regular SQL backup and restore in another database.
    I created a new Web App in the port 90 as show below.
    Then I included the Content database of Project Server as separated DB from SharePoint for this new SharePoint -acme90 and I tried to create the new instance. The creation hanged in "Waiting for Resources" status.
    To make another check excluding the reuse of the SharePoint-80 I tried to create another instance both in the SharePoint-80 where is the working instance and in the SharePoint-90, everything default and again they all hanged in Waiting for Resource.
    If I try to create the instance using PowerShell I got the following error:

    All SharePoint and Project Server services are running, all App Pools and sites are started at the IIS. I could not find a hanging timer job.
    I cannot stop the hanged process or dismount the instances using Powershell since no instance created.
    How should I solve the hanging status of creation of the instance? As they are in Hyper-V I can go back using one snapshot.

    Thank your for your interest in this case.
    I checked for running and crashed PWA jobs and deleted all of them just after restoring the snapshot and tried to create the new instance in the new web app in port 90 (besides the existing and working instance in port 80), but again it hanged in "waiting
    for resources". There is not any timer job hanging, no error in event viewer or in log. So the error is well before working with cloned dbs.
    Answering your questiion, I am working all on 2013. My intention is backup one instance of the port 80 and copy to the instance of port 90, changing of course the url and the index of the content db of SharePoint. The process I used was:
    Create a new web app in port 90, creating a new SharePoint_Content_2 on a
    http://server:90 site.
    Created the top level site called Portal using the Team Site template.
    Create a new content db for new instance of Project Server named EPM_Content_2 using Central Admin.
    Backup content db from port 80 instance of Project Server and restore to this EPM_content_2 using PowerShell cmd.
    Dismounted and mounted this Project Server content db to create new index for existing sites to avoid index conflicts.
    Backup the Project Server DB from port 80 using SQL backup and restored as ProjectWebApp2 db for port 90 instance.
    Tried to create a new instance of Project Server
    http://server:90/pwa on web app of port 90 using the ProjectWebApp2 db and using the same app pool of the other instance. But as in the previous case, it hang out in "Waiting for resources".

    I was able to resolve the issue on this queue by changing the following setting
    Under the PROCESSING tab, under XI SETTINGS
    Time period for Duplicate Check for EO(IO) (secs) it was set to 86400
    I have changed this to 300 seconds and the adapter has now gone green.
    BUT......
    That said, I have the exact scenario on another sender JMS channel set to 300 seconds and it exhibits the same issue.
    correlation settings:
    Set XI message id  to  = GUID
    Set Xi conversation

    No it is not possible to create an additional status. You can create subcreens or add new fields but a view itself is not possible.
