Looking for ADC adapter

Hi have vintage (that sounds so sad) 2004 PowerMac G5 (2GHz) which has a video card that has a DVI and ADC port for monitors.
Apple ships the DVI --> VGA adapter with just about every computer. Does anyone know where I can get an ADC --> VGA adapter?
I'm hoping to run dual monitors on the box. 2 vid ports, seems like it should just work.

HI-
The ADC to VGA adapter is the rarest of rare animals.
It occasionally surfaces on eBay, but you can usually buy another graphics card for the cost.
You would be better off with a two port DVI graphics card such as the Geforce 6800 Ultra.
That can then use two DVI to VGA adapters to connect two VGA monitors.

Then you are not looking very well. The first one in the list has compatible wifi adapters. Mavericks compatable wifi adapters are included in most of the results from my link.

Looking for Power adapter for 23"

I have this beautiful 23 Cinema display just looking at me wondering why I don't plug it in. Well....
I got a great deal off Ebay but it didn't come with the white box that connects the AC / wall cord into the monitor [the seller was upfront]. My local shops says they are on back order and it will be two weeks.

Ask your local shop whether they can get you the power adapter for the Cinema Display 30-inch. Although slightly larger in size and power capacity (160 watt vs 90 watt) it is backward compatible and works great. If you're anxious to get up and running then that is the way to do it.

Looking for SSH adapter for BPEL

I want to consume files that exist on a ssh server using secure ftp.
I cannot simply tunnel ftp over ssh, because the server has no plain ftp on it - only ssh.
Has anyone tackled this problem yet?

I thought the Griffin iMic was my solution until I read the specs closer.
I am looking for an adapter that can handle things like a profession quality microphone and even an input for my guitar (same jack acually).
I am seeking advise on how to accomplish this with a spending a zillion $$$
I realize this will likely involve more than one piece of hardware.

DVI to ADC Adapter for GeForce 6800 video card?

Do I need DVI to ADC Adapter for Nvidia GeForce 6800 which I just installed on my G5 to be able to run ADC 23" Cinema off the GeForce 6800 card?
I want to run a new 30" Cinema and old ADC 23" Cinema from GeForce 6800. I ran the old 23" from the ATI Radeon 9600 Pro

Hi Milan,
If the Geforce 6800 does not have an ADC output, then yes, you do.
You need to check to see whether or not that the card has DVI-I output, as some of the DVI to ADC adaptors use a DVI-I plug which will not fit into a DVI-D output due to the extra pins in the plug.

Looking for a replacement m2010us hard drive adapter

I have a mostly intact Compaq m2010us, sans HDD caddy/adapter. I searched a little online, and found a few different adapters being described as the proper one. Is there still a way to purchase one through HP or equivelent source? Just trying to fix and polish this up and donate it to a student in need.

Seagate is recommended due to the 5 year warranty, though other manufacturer's are good and work well and usually offers 3 year warranties. As was said above, any SATA drive will work, whether it's 150 or 300, though the laptop only will run at 150 speed.
I recommend getting a 7200rpm drive with as much cache as possible. A lot of newer drives are offering 16MB caches which show a strong lead in performance over other 7200rpm drives.
For instance:
* The Seagate ST9200420AS (200GB, 7200 rpm, 16MB, SATA 300, 5 yr warranty)
* The Hitachi Travelstar 7k200 (200GM, 7200 rpm, 16MB, SATA 150, 3 yr warranty)
The difference between these two is the SATA version, with the Seagate running a faster version of SATA which will not be taken advantage of by the MacBook, however future models or purchases by you may in fact use SATA 300 so it may be a good purchase if you plan to swap it during future upgrades. Further the 5 year warranty over 3 years is nice.
The recommendations above are if you're looking for a lot of storage with maximum performance. If you simply want a large drive with average or stock performance consider the HITACHI Travelstar 5K250 (250GB).

Note also what the Apple Wireless Keyboard and Mouse FAQs says:
"Question: Can I use a USB Bluetooth adapter other than the D-Link DBT-120 (Rev B2 or later) with the Apple Wireless Keyboard and Mouse?
 Answer: Apple supports using the Apple Wireless Keyboard and Mouse with computers that have built-in Bluetooth or with the D-Link DBT-120 (Rev B2 or later) USB Bluetooth adapter. Results may vary with other USB Bluetooth adapters." [Emphasis added.]
You may also find it beneficial to search through this forum and the Other Bluetooth Devices forum to learn about others' experience with other "3rd party" adapters.
Hopefully, some folks with success stories — particularly with some of the newer adapters on the market that add new profiles such as A2DP and comply with the Bluetooth 2.0+EDR Specification — will post here in your thread to share their experiences. Looking for best wireless Network Adapter for my PowerMac G5

Before the local Mac Store upgraded me from Tiger To Leopard I was using a Hawking Technology HWUG1A Wireless Adapter. It was clunky and the software crashed me now and then. Now that I'm on 10.5 the Hawking Tech. software crashed me every time it tried to connect to the router. I uninstalled it using AppCleaner, then reinstalled the Hawking 'Leopard version' of the software/firmware, still crashing me.
There support says "it should work" which I could still pursue getting it to work correctly, but I want to move on since I've never been happy with the product and don't want to risk wasting to much time incase it is simply not going to work.
It seems I have some PCI(e) slots (whatever is in the PowerMac) available on this mac, can it take a wireless network card? That would be much better than a USB doogle. Anyway, I'm looking for a reliable solution for connecting my PowerMac G5 to my router without using cables. Can you please recommend a product if you know of one?

Yes, a 13" non-Air model requires a minimum of 60 watts, so you will be fine. If it is a 2011 or earlier model, the connector is the regular MagSafe, whereas this year's models use the MagSafe 2 that is different.

Thanks for the specs. Unfortunately, the real problem is 6V AC adapters are extremely hard to come by, as I can't find one anywhere.
