Looking for an expert on iCal Push

Push notification is working fine on all my iOS and Mac client computers. iCal Push is however not working. Insstead of an upgrade install of LS I installed fresh on a new MacMini. I went the hard route by adding all Network Users, transfered their mail data and calendars which proved to take many long hours. All Wiki's and Web services are working correctly. The only thing that seems to be broken is the iCal Push notification server.
I have tried everything I know short of reinstalling and starting over again. If anyone can send some suggestions my way or some code to try in the Terminal, I will be very greatful. Here is the main error message I am receiving.
push_notify[11877]: discarding message; not connected to notification server

Clean install of LS fixed this problem. Only wish I knew what started it. Sorry I couldn't find any easier answers but glad it now works.

Looking for a way to turn Push off with Exchange

I am looking for away to turn push OFF with an Exchange email account. Since I added it I have started going over my data plan limits. I just want it to featch emails every 30min or so. This seems simple enough but Exchange email accounts do not seem to allow you to turn off Push for the inbox. So far I have tried the things listed below. The Gmail accounts work fine and check for mail every 30 min, but the Exchange account is still getting mail pushed from the inbox immediately.
o I turned off Push option in Settings > "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" > "Fetch New Data".
o I Set the fetch option to 30 min in "Settings" > "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" > "Fetch New Data".
o I found that the checked setting for Inbox in "Settings" > "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" > "<Selected The Exchange acct>" > "Mail Folders to Push" > is grayed out and can not be unchecked.

Exchange by definition is a Push service. the whole point of it is to keep the two systems in sync.
You could speak to your provider and ask them to provide a POP3 service.

Looking for RSS app which will Push or Fetch to homescreen

Hi there, i have googled alot and come up emtpy so far, i thought i i would try here.
I am looking for an Iphone rss app for my 3g iphone. I would like one that alerts me on my homescreen whenever a feed is updated, much like the iphone email app. Is there a rss feed that uses either fetch or push?
Also i love twitteriffic is there anyway for it to push or fetch new tweets to my home page like the email app?

Looking for an expert on session tracking

I've got some session code running on RH linux using Apache and Tomcat. About 7% of my users experience a session variable not being present after a <jsp:forward> (or sendRedirect). I was thinking that it was related to cookies and how sessions are tracked, but I am using both the default cookie session tracking as well as URL re-writing; when I turn my browser's cookies off, I start seeing the jsessionid being used and everything still seems to work ok.
Is there anyone out there who might be willing to help me figure this pup out...why 7% of my users can't be tracked (session.getAttribute() doesn't find something that was placed into the session directly before the redirect/forward)?

OK, I've done a bunch of debugging. It appears all the folks who experience a "loss of session" have a URL with no parameters...even though I now parameters where passed.
Also, in some cases, the new URL that is being visited is accessed via either a <jsp:forward> or javascript's window.open.
Anyone know why some browsers might not pass parameters?

Looking for recommendations - iCal substitution (different calendar or task manager app)

Hello everyone,
for some time I'm looking for iCal substitution/replacement. I'm looking for a multiplatform solution (idealy OS X / iOS / Win). I'm a head of small team (5 subordinates) and iCal no longer suits me.
I'm looking for a task manager or different calendar application where I would be able to manage all the tasks my team has. So far I have found application Wunderlist, which is very close to what I want (basic version is free, it works on OS X / iOS / Win and synces through their servers) but it misses some crucial options (monthly view for example).
Also I do not want to and will not use any Google service.

Looking for app to extend alarm for iCal - Reminders

We are frustrated seniors new to the apple family. On all devices iMac, iPhone and iPad we only receive alarms when we either pick them up or turn them on.... We are looking for an app that would alarm us for appointments, even if it is only through my wife's iPhone (through the cloud), using iCal or Reminders... You can take a screen shot of any page in your iPad. Simply hold the power and home button for less than an second and you'll hear the camera shutter. The picture will be stored in your camera roll and you can then email it.

I work for a company that hosts web software that many newspapers use to power their online websites. We are interested in working with an expert individual or firm in programming extensions or plugins for InDesign. The goal is to build a function within InDesign that gathers all of the newspaper articles from within an InDesign file and send them through the internet into our online system *from within InDesign*. In other words, we are not interested in a "save to xml" type of option... we are interested in an option that would be called "Send articles to website" which would scrape together all of the content, package it in a structured way, and upload it to a drop box of come kind hosted on our server. From that point, programmers at our company will write the server-side routines to detect the uploaded materials, parse through them, and populate the site.
Again, I need someone who's a proven InDesign software expert who can create a cross platform solution for our needs. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

HTML, CSS & JavaScript are not hard concepts to learn on your own. PHP/MySql is more advanced and should be undertaken only after you have a working knowledge of the other three.
It would help us help you if you tell us something about yourself.
     a) How much coding experience do you have?
     b) What do you feel most & least comfortable with?
     c) A brief description of your project goals.
     d) A link to your site (if you have one).
I can only speak for myself but like most people here, I regularly donate time to this and other forums while simultaneously working on client projects. If you need a bit of hand holding while you work through tutorials, Adobe forums contain a pool of worldwide product users who are available 24/7. Owing to differences in time zones and other commitments, a private consultant might not be as convenient to reach when you have burning questions.
