Looking for another Powerbook

Hello all: I have a 867 tibook, a 1.25 albook, and am looking to purchase another mac laptop. I'm leaning toward the powerbook 1.67 15"albook but have a couple of questions.
1.powerbook vs. intel macs - I like stability and am fine with the software I have, is it worth the switch
2. From 1.25ghz to 1.67ghz is there much difference and which would you recommend.
3. Is there any difference in the screen resolution of these models and is there any difference within models, ie does the 1.67 configured with different screen models

As mentioned already, Intel-based macs tend to carry more power. MacWorld did a number of comparison tests between G4 PBs and the Intel machines. Although applications like Adobe's creative suite are not yet universal and run under Rosetta emulation, they are due out around March 2007 in universal format. Note the latest upgrade to the Core 2 chips adds enough performance that the speed disadvantage of running under Rosetta is almost, but not quite, erased.
If I were looking for another notebook now, I'd consider the Macbook Pro. It's past, or close to getting past, it initial teething pains, and it comes with dedicated ATI video unit, versus the Macbook that has less capable integrated Intel video. The counterbalance is that the G4 PB is a known quantity, with known weak points. The Intel-based systems haven't been around long enough to expose any real weak points.
