Looking for bluetooth headset for ipad2

I am looking for a bluetooth headset that is compatible with the iPad2, any suggestions. I've heard there are pairing and output questions on some headsets.

I use the Motorola S9-HD's, not too expensive & they sound OK to me.

  • No PIN for Bluetooth headset for Nokia 6021

Can't seem to pair my old headset with a replacement model 6021 because I don't have a PIN. Anyone know a workaround other than buy a new Bluetooth headset?!

To help you, could you please specify the following:
    Model of the bluetooth headset.
Check differences in firmware of your 6021.
Also, with your previous Nokia 6021, did you pair your headset without using a pin?
On various headsets there are ways to "reset" the settings, by pressing a few buttons together for a number of seconds for example.
Have you tried pairing with a different bluetooth headset?
There is also a limited ammount of devices the phone can pair with, make sure you have room to pair the bluetooth headset.
    Waiting to hear from you,
    TalJ
    I own a 5210, 5140 and now..the new 3250. Symbian 60 Series OS 3.0 ..just the best.

  • Need a high quality Bluetooth Headset for my Nokia...

    Hi everyone
can any of you recommend a really good Bluetooth Headset for my Nokia N80 ?
want something with crystal clear sound, no distortion and one that fits nice and snuggly without being uncomfortable...
    Thanks....

Hi, I use the Nokia HB-900 with my black N80 and they work flawlessly together, PTT is perfect, Voice quality is like nothing you have ever exprienced in a bluetooth headset, the noice canceling in BH-900 and the extended boom truely sets this headset apart from what you have used before and the long battery life is just great. i realy like the look of it and it is the only headset i actualy wear in public without feeling stange, its pretty light and comfortable, i forget i am wearing it and it doesn't swing around or move when i turn my head, it's quality is good and matches the n80 finish ( i have the one with the black extendable boom ) and works perfectly, it also has a blue light on it that matches the blue light on my n80. it's worth every penny. when i use it the people on the other end of the line do not believe that i am using a cellphone as the voice quiality is great due to digital voice processor and the noise cancelation of BH-900, you can't go wrong whit this one.

  • Can someone please recommend a Plantronics bluetooth headset for SPA525G2

Can someone please recommend a Plantronics bluetooth headset for SPA525G2

    Hi Juan,
He is a link to Plantronics website with a list of headsets they support with the SPA525G's.
    http://www.plantronics.com/us/configurator/default.jsp?use=Deskphone&wl=&ec=&sl=&spn=&skb=&sds=
The Voyager Legend looks like that may be a good option. Plantronics supports this headset with Bluetooth and as long as you the right phone load with Bluetooth enabled, then you should not have any issues.
    Hope this helps.

  • What is the best bluetooth headset for iPhone 5?

What is the best Bluetooth headset for iPhone 5 for talking no music?

I've tried all the majors:  Bose (1 model twice), Motorola (2 models), Jawbone (5 models) in almost every model.
Bose is good but such an odd nub just sitting there on your ear - bad athestics.  Device is fine but not right for me.
Motorola seem to have troublie with iPhone specifically.   They don't stay paired and noise-cancelling has been bad.  I tried 3 pairs of the Elite Silver with no luck.  Great concept to have a case that charges the device but bad device.  Same issue with the Oasis.
Jawbones are good and I've had 5 of them.   They seem to degrade in voice cancelling quality over time based on feedback of people I talk to but they are solid.   I'm sure I just beat them up but they do seem to go bad.
My best experience have been BLUEANT, both the Q2 (bought 2) and teh Q3 (own 1).   Q2 are solid but they have this issue with a metal screen that inevitable breaks off, not affecting call quality but a pain.   Q3 have fixed that but they are just a bit bulkier.   Good features (voice answer & address book) and solid.  These are just awesome and good instant on that simply isn't true of all of the devices.  Only downside has been no battery meter on the Q2 for the iphone but a solid workhorse.
I just got a new Motorola Whisper and so far I'm impressed.   First motorola that has solid noise reduction and doesn't seem to have the random unpairing issue with the iphone.   It's early yet but great design and comes with a case.
    I hope this helps.

  • Can anybody actually RECOMMEND a bluetooth headset for the iPhone?

I see a lot of bad experiences, & not too many good ones.
Can anybody actually RECOMMEND a bluetooth headset for the iPhone? I just need one that works, with very little features (ie: redial button on headset).

I've actually posted another thread, and I don't mean to take over the original members post, but I'm hoping this will help others who may be having the same problems. Thanks to all of you who have posted your results with the various headsets!
I am now on my third iPhone 3G in under six months. The first one would drop calls when the corded Apple headset was plugged in during the call, and the second would cause the caller on the other end to hear an echo when I used the Apple headset. Plus, it did not respond well at all to Bluetooth headsets. Tons of static, call echoes, and noise cancellation not working.
My experience with the Jawbone 2 has been disappointing. I have heard way too many testimonials of satisfied iPhone users who love the JB2, so I'm beginning to think it's just me. I went through FOUR Jawbone 2 devices in under a month, all because of poor sound quality, and the Noise Assassin not working properly.
The white rubber tip sat very well against my cheek, and the default medium earpiece fit perfectly in my ear and was very comfortable to wear. Everything seemed to be in order, but the same problems would arise over and over again. I would get poor sound quality on both ends of the call, and people could hear the tv or the radio playing in the background on my end.
Maybe the structure of my head isn't suited for the JB2, but I have a very normally proportioned head. I refuse to believe it's the device——It has been rated highly by too many people to be the issue. I've all but given up on it, regrettably.
The Plantronics Discovery 665 I tested had issues with static. I would hear it on my end, even thought the phone was no more than two feet away.
I'll give the Plantronics 925 a try, as well as the Blue Ant V1. We'll see...

  • Non Bluetooth headsets for iphone?

    Hello all,
I'm looking for non bluetooth (aka ones with a wire) headsets with little luck. I've tried using a belkin iphone adapter for my Bang and Olufsen Earset 1 but it does not fit (which shocked the apple store people who had no alternative suggestions). I've been looking and all I've seen are bluetooth sets. Anyone have any suggestions for a good wired headset for use with iphone?

For alot of standard headphones to work you will need one of the 2 adaptors below

  • General-purpose Bluetooth Headsets for both mobile...

    Hi,
I don´t know if this really belongs here, it´s more a general question: Is it possible to use a Bluetooth-Headset - like the ones you commonly have for mobile phones - for both the mobile phone and Skype (installed on a computer, not on the phone)?
I have tried once to install the "Mobiola Headset for Skype" on my phone to be able to walk around and still talk over VoIP, but that failed because Mobiola couldn´t tell me exactly which COM port the software was trying to use, but apparently that one was blocked by Idontknowwhat.
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi sapporobaby,
    cite:
By the way, you do realize that you are going over the Internet with Fring/Skype so there is not guarantee of the sound quality. It is a packet routed connection rather than a switched connection so for what it does it is not bad.
    cite end
    >>Yes, I do realize that Fring is a VoIP application. You´re absolutely right, it is not bad - which isn´t good enough. It may be good enough if you´re going to call a place half the world away which would otherwise cost you a fortune - but then you´re dependent on that place half the world away having the right infrastructure in place for the connection from internet to landline. In my case, that wasn´t the case, so it´s no good - for me. If you want to know, I would use it to call Georgia, but even if you call from a normal landline to Georgia, it is normal to hear another connection as well as the person you´re speaking to and the connection going on and off... much worse if you call via VoIP (to landline).
Anyway, I have already found and purchased what I was looking for.

  • Messages won't connect to bluetooth headset for sound output

I have a Plantronics Voyager Legend bluetooth headset that can pair with more than one device. I got it so I could switch back and forth from my phone to my MacBook Pro (running Mavericks) easily. It works great everywhere. EXCEPT, it won't work for Messages sound output. I've talked with three different Apple support people and with Plantronics. I tried a workaround I found elsewhere using Soundflower, but that did not work either. I've checked all settings, unpaired/repaired, shut down/rebooted/reset; looked for software issues; downloaded the current firmware; tried turning bluetooth off my phone to see if that was an issue; and probably some other things I'm forgetting; all to no avail.
    Any ideas?

    Following up on the above...
My S10-HD paired straight out of the box w/ my iPod Touch 2G; however, when I tried to pair it with my iPad 2, the iPad 2 would just search...and search...and search.
On page 7 of the S10-HD manual, you'll see a note saying, "To pair your headphones again, press and hold the "0" (power) key until the status light becomes steadily lit in blue".
This proved to be the key to getting the S10-HD to work with the iPad 2. The S10-HD needs to be "off", then you'll have to press and hold for around 7 to 10 seconds.
Furthermore, it appears (from my own testing; your results may differ) that the S10-HD can only be paired to one device at a time. That may sound obvious, but what it means is that you'll first have to turn off Bluetooth on the paired device with which the S10-HD is currently connected, then connect it to the other device with which it is already paired. (Kind of a pain, but I can live with it.)
Also, if there's anyone considering the S9-HD or who's had an S9-HD fail because of sweat incursion (i.e., you use it at the gym, etc.), Motorola is offering a warranty upgrade from the S9-HD to the S10-HD. What you need to know is: (1) The S9-HD will fail from the least bit of sweat entering the unit through the speakers; and (2) The S9-HD sounds better than the S10-HD (a lot better...it's a tradeoff you have to be willing to live with if you want these for exercise). To get the S10-HD if you've experienced prob's w/ your S9-HD as described, call Julie Scofield in the Consumer Advocacy Office at Motorola's Corporate Headquarters: (847) 523-5852.

  • Bluetooth headset for MacBook pro and iPhone

Is there a recommended Bluetooth headset I can pair with my iPhone and MacBook pro and do things like:
    iPhone:
    Take call
    Listening to music and podcasts
    MacBook Pro:
    Listening to music and podcast
    Skype calls
    Google Voice calls
    Face time
    YouTube
    Etc...
At the same time it would need at least 8 hours of talk and or play time battery.
Has somebody built such thing? If not we should do a kickstarter...
    Thank you for your recommendations

    Try to look at: http://www.jabra.com/
The ones compatible with the iPhone work with Skype too on a Mac, I don't know about other services.
    Bye

  • What are the best bluetooth headsets for running?

With the new 3.0 software update, I want stereo bluetooth headsets to go running with. Any ideas on what the best brands are?

I have the s9 as well and have discovered that the Bluetooth reception is not as good outdoors as in. When I run at the gym I don't have any dropouts at all. Outside, I need to hold the iPhone closer to the headset to prevent dropouts. Perhaps an armband is better than a pocket for this.

  • THE PERFECT Stereo Bluetooth HEADSET for my E51

My E51 is in dire need of GREAT BLUETOOTH STEREO HEADPHONES. As u may know, the OEM headset simply sucks in terms of sound quality and comfort (keeps dropping off).
Please share ur experience in using stereo bluetooth headsets that PAIR SEAMLESSLY to Nokia E51 with rating on:
    - Comfort in using (> 2 hours non stop)
    - Pairing ease & range
    - Musical sound quality (bass treble richness)
    - Conversation sound quality and clarity (inc. talk time)
    - Model (in ear, earbud etc)
    - Price (pref in USD currency)
I think this post should be kept ALIVE as referral for future users who are thinking the same as I am now

  • Bluetooth headset for Macbook

Hi, anybody knows any kind of bluetooth head set which is compatible with macbook for audio conference? Can you please share your knoledge, it will be very useful for me. Is it possible to do a wire free audio conference .
    Thanks in advance.

    1) I have two new MacBook Pro Unibody Aluminum Late 2008 models. I can replicate this problem on both units.
    2) I am using Skype 2.7.0.330.
    3) I've tested this with MacOS 10.5.5 and 10.5.6
If I set up a bluetooth Headset and use it with Skype, it degrades into illegible audio in about 5 minutes. Only a reboot of the Mac cures it. At worst, it even locks up the OS and the stack trace on the report sent to Apple shows some of the BT methods/stack as the culprit. A reboot of the Headset does not help restore legible audio.
I have tried three brands and models of BlueTooth Headsets:
    Plantronics 510
    Jabra BT 250v
    Motorola H350
All headsets exhibit the same problem. Problem can be replicated on both MBPs. This worked just fine on the old 2007 MBP.
I even went so far as to just play music through the BlueTooth headsets via iTunes. The audio starts chopping up around 5 minutes of use. Again, only a reboot of the Mac helps.
