Site Counters - Looking for complete standalone HTML

I am trying to put a counter on my website but all these "free" counters offered on the WEB have links back to the "free" websites or
adverstisement text that must be displayed near the counter.
There must be some snippet of code available that creates a counter that does not involve a thrid party

OK .. thank you for your time with my issue.
With that being the case do you know where I can get whatever is needed to get just a basic counter and not be tied to the 3rd party "Free Counter" web sites? I am not at this time looking for databases that would tell me where, who, etc but just a simple counter to increment just on a hit.

Use Color or Magic Bullet Looks for complete grade and effects?

I am a long time MB Looks user - not heavy dosages but I do find it easy and fast as it keeps you inside FCP and along with the 3-Way CC it was efficient.
I am nearing an edit on a 80 minute documentary which involves going from color to clips converted to black & white and sepia tone for effect. I am thinking to use Color workflow for the entire color grade and effects.
Does Color dispense the need for Looks altogether? I have used color a few times now but not on a complete feature length, so I would need to sharpen my knowledge.

Color, MB Looks, FCP's 3WCC are all arrows in our quiver. We don't need to give one up to use another.
I'm working on a doc now (it's rendering out in Color as I type this) that has "Hero" shots being treated in MB Looks. But I use Color to even out all those Hero shots so the MBL settings I'm using will be applied consistently. But even then I find it useful to to precede MBL with a 3WCC so I can easily adjust the tonality, saturation, and color palette of the shot without having to step back into the MBL interface.
I can definitely guarantee that I couldn't have graded this show in 2.5 days if I just kept myself to using only the FCP interface. Even with the prep time for the Color round-trip - I get better results faster...

Looking for complete list of attributes to search on in Mail Search field

I have been digging for hours and other than the few examples in Mail's help file, I can't find a complete list of attributes to search on when doing ad-hoc searches in Mail's search field.
The ones I know of are to:, author:, subject:, kind:, date:, size:, modified:
There are also quite a few synonyms like from:, by:, to:, recipient:, etc.
But where is the complete list? Arghh!!
Any pointers would be much appreciated, or maybe folks can just append the keywords they know to work here?
I'd love to find one that does the equivalent of mailbox:foldername

Launch Script Editor (in /Applications/AppleScript/), paste in this script, select Event Log, run it, and get Mail's properties:'

Alternatively, Script Editor->Window->Library-> add Mail's dictionary to the listing and then double-click on it.

Looking for a numeric keypad

The Apple Store in Cambridge at least has one variety...but I'm not sure $30-40 is worth the candle (this is one of the Kensington keypads). A couple of other keypads I found were cheaper (most notably Inland Products--only $10!), but I couldn't find any kind of product compatibility. The Inland keypad didn't even mention which versions of Windows it was compatible with. Does anyone know of any MacBook-compatible numerics besides the Kensington?

in addition the underlying characteristic needs to be type DATS

Looking for test demo of new 21/27 iMac in-house in Carmel, IN

Hi all.
I am looking for someone that might be willing to let my parents see and use their 21"/27" iMac at there house for a little while. They absolutely DETEST the new glossy screens, at least how they look when they are the store. But their house isn't a white box with dozen of light sources producing massive amounts of glare. So short of buying one and returning it, and all the hassle thereof, I thought there might be a kind soul out their willing to help.
They desperately need a new computer (iMac G5 with possibily failing drive), and an iMac would be a perfect choice if it wasn't for the glossy screen. If they can't live with that, then it'll have to be a Mini + third-party monitor.

I see what you're saying. You want the computer at your house to see how it works in the environment. That's a pretty tall order. But you might do as Dave suggests and go to Keystone At The Crossing and talk with the people there. They may be able to hook you up with a loaner or something.
My iMac sits facing west and there's window that's approx. 6'x12' behind me and 99% (okay I made that percentage up) I don't see any glare whatsoever. 100% it's not a bother (that one I didn't make up). I would assume as you did that the Apple Store is about as bad as it could get for a glossy screen. Bright, lots of white.

I am looking for a demo that contains the following:
1) logon page
2) Main Menu Page that contains links to the different pages in the application
3) A security Access control Page (allows the users I specify that have a valid Oracle account to access the application)
For my next project, I've been asked to develop it using Jdeveloper. I understand bits and pieces, but I now need to know how to tie it all together.

Broadly speaking I want some sort of network storage( wireless or through my existing wifi router) that I can access files for both my windows PC and Macbook and also to access files to my iPad/ iPhone. Some sort of backup and sychronisation so that I can access certain files remotely.
Buy a real NAS.. synology or QNAP are the standard... although companies like Netgear and Western Digital and Seagate make them as well.
There is no problem sharing between Mac and PC now.. you do not even need a NAS to do that.. you simply share the hard disk directly. Mac talk SMB.. everything talks SMB nowadays.. so it is easy.
ipad and iphone are not designed to use NAS.. they are designed to backup only to the cloud or itunes.. but you can load an app like file browser if you want.

Remote access to the Apple TC is somewhere between difficult, to impossible from a PC.. Apple use BTMM and iCloud but the service is not offered to PC.
A real NAS will offer HTTPS or SFTP or several other methods.. that both Mac and PC can use.
You simply plug it into the current wireless router.. it is a network device and assessable over the network. It is not necessary to buy another router.. in fact that is a waste.
