Looking for deploy tool

I'd like to use the deploytool to deploy some example EJB's, but I can't find it anywhere in my JDK. Does it not come bundled with it anymore? Where can I download it?

Alright, I figured out the deploytool is in the SDK, but FreeBSD hasn't ported that over yet. Anyone know where I can download just the deploy tool? This is super annoying.

i am looking for a tool, program that can search all our reports installed on Business Objects Xi R3 for specific content in text fields and formulas.
We used a couple of years ago .rpt inspector, that worked pretty well for our purpose.
Unfortunately this is Win XP & Win Server 2003 only, so we can't reuse it anymore.
(I know there are way of getting WinXP that in a VMware, but that is not an option in our company.)
So i am interested , if there is another tool out there, which can help us?

I am an IT consultant with a client that conducts a wide range of activities including research, education, marketing, and sales. There are a variety of legal, regulatory and ethical standards that apply to these activities. Our task is to design/develop a system that allows the monitoring and tracking of our compliance in each of these area.
I am looking for a tool that would allow me to design and develop the application quickly.

There are several rapid application development (RAD) tools, most of which can be used to develop applications against an Oracle database. Oracle's offerings in this area are:
Designer: This is our premium application development tool, suitable for extremely large, complex projects
Developer: This applications development tool allows you to quickly create forms based applications.
JDeveloper: Allows you to create Java based applications.
The ramp-up time on the first tool might eliminate it from consideration (Designer has so many capabilities that we have an entire curriculum devoted to helping application developers get the most out of it). I've thrown together quick, relatively simple applications using Developer in a matter of hours, but you will find that any tool will be slow going at first until you get used to its environment.
Of the non-Oracle offerings, my favorite has to be Inprise's Delphi. Like Oracle's Developer, it takes a while to get used to the development environment but I haven't seen too many things I wanted to do that couldn't be done in Delphi.

Looking for deployment instructions PeopleSoft AMI instances on Amazon EC2

I am looking for deployment instructions on how to launch PeopleSoft AMI instances on Amazon EC2 platforms. There are many AMIs posted by both Oracle and Amazon together to deploy demo environment, and no where I found the installation/deployment instructions. Template instructions for the following AMIs is pointing to Oracle VM page, not Amazon's AWS instructions.

You should be able to find a third party auditing tool for this. But if you are looking for free one, you may need to update the logic, combine multiple scripts etc to achieve this.
1. Get the ACL of the folder using a tool
2. Translate the SID to an object in AD
3. If it is a group. Get the group members
3a. if it a nested group, get all members from all nested groups.

Looking for BR*Tools for the 6.40 Kernel

Dear Experts,
I am now playing with my old NetWeaver 2004 test systems... I was considering to create a small test system,
based on Oracle 10 and Linux. I easily found all the 6.40 Kernels in the Support Packages and Patches archive,
though the DBATL* files are for oracle 9 !!
As I didn't find a separate entry for BR*Tools in the "Browse our download catalog" menu, I decided to go for the
full text search, specifying: DBATOOLS PACKAGE FOR ORACLE 10.
Unfortunately, for the KERNEL 6.40, I only found packages for TRU64, not for Linux:
   DBATL700O10_44-20000202.SAR   DBATOOLS Package for Oracle 10g
Support Package SAP KERNEL 6.40 64-BIT TRU64 64bit ORACLE

Based on the listed search results. I can assume the following:
SAP offers DBATL700* for KERNEL 6.40 on Linux.. The second hit result I am showing, suggests DBATL700* as well for KERNEL 7.00.
And starting from KERNEL 7.10, the file is then named DBATL710*
Does that mean, that for the KERNEL 6.40 for Oracle 10, I can download a DBATL700* file for Linux ?

Here is what the SAP note says:
The BR*Tools 7.20 and 7.40 packages are available on SAP Service Marketplace as an SAPCAR archive.
Separate versions of BR*Tools are not delivered for SAP Kernel Release 7.21, 7.38, and 7.41. Use the relevant Basis Versions 7.20 or 7.40.
The BR*Tools 7.20 package can be used with all SAP releases that are based on Oracle database 10g or 11g.
The BR*Tools 7.40 package can be used with all SAP releases that are based on Oracle database 11g.
BR*Tools 7.20 and 7.40 can also be used for SAP systems with non-ABAP stack without functional restrictions (for example, J2EE-only systems, portals, MDM, requisite, and so on). In non-ABAP stack systems, some control tables may not exist. Therefore, in addition, refer to SAP Notes 320457 and 892294.
The BR*Tools documentation is available as described under point [6]. In particular, the documentation contains recommendations on the type and frequency of regular upcoming database administration activities such as backups, updating statistics, and so on.

Looking for Chapter Tool Beta or other app to create enhanced podcasts

Hi all. I am looking at creating enhanced podcasts. On Google I found a mysterious app that Apple has apperantly created - "Chapter Tool Beta". However, all links to this app are dead. Any idea what happened to that app?
Also, what are some alternatives? Garage Band doesn't work well, as in this project I am working on, we have to show a screen shot, then in the next "frame" same screen shot, but with a highlight box over an area. And, it's hard to line up images in GB. Any ideas? Thanks,

I think the Chapter Tool is now dead - though someone did ask about this a few weeks back: it might be worth searching for the thread to see whether anyone could help.
I would suggest you look at Podcast Maker: this will take your pre-existing mp3 files and add chapters and images to make an m4a 'enhanced podcast', and incorporate the information you give it into a feed file. It will then upload the podcast to your iDisk or other server and ping the iTunes Store for you. I've used it for three years now and found it very reliable.

I'm looking for a "tools" tab w/internet options on it and can't find it

I recently downloaded Mozilla and in looking over the new page i noticed that there is no tool bar w/File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, and Help like there is in Internet Explorer. I'm just wondering if it exists and if it does can you please tell me where I can find it. thanks

Looking for Deployment/Migration Steps for personalized OA page

I have personalized a Standard page thru Functional Administrator responsbility. I have done this in the Development Instance. Now I need to migrate the personalization changes from Development instance to Testing Instance. I have gone thru steps specified in Chapter 4 of OA Framework Personalization Guide. When I exported my personalized page from Development Instance using "oracle.jrad.tools.xml.exporter.XMLExporter", in the export XML (MDS) file I am not seeing the personalized column details. Does the export page will not have any personalized item details? If not then how it will be migrated to next instance if we use this export file for the migration?
For example, I have added an LOVmessage for the existing Standard page thru personalization at site level using the Functional Administrator responsbility. After this I export the standard page. In the export XML file I didn't find the details of the new LOV that I have addded to the page thru Personalization.
Please let me know steps to migrate a OA page after doing personalization.

this exported the file to /home/nkathi01/iproc_cust/personalized/oracle/apps/icx/por/req/webui/CheckoutSummaryPG.xml
When I opened the "CheckoutSummaryPG.xml" I not seeing any personalized items in the xml, I searched for the item-id which I added to the page thru personalization. So I am doubting how this personalization will be migrated into the next instance.
Please clear my doubt.

Since I started using firefox, I have noticed in cafe world on Facebook that I can not use my entire screen. I have been looking for the tools menu to enlarge my screen but with no luck so far. please help

StealthAudit
StealthAudit looked to be the best as they also group like mailboxes with like permissions for Office 365 migrations, but this was by far the most expensive.
We are looking to clean up our environment to eventually migrate to Office 365. Any advice on a product that would report on unused Mailboxes, unused Distribution Groups, and unused Public Folders that would be great.

In your case, you can use the following cmdlet to determine unused mailboxes. If a mailbox has never logged on, the Lastlogontime is empty.
Get-Mailbox|Get-MailboxStatistics |fl DisplayName,Lastlogontime
Use the cmdlet below to get publicfolder's last access time.
Get-PublicFolderStatistics |fl name,LastAccessTime
Get all distribution lists used over last 30 days.
Get-MessageTrackingLog -EventId Expand -ResultSize Unlimited |Sort-Object RelatedRecipientAddress | Group-Object RelatedRecipientAddress |Sort-Object Name | Select-Object @{label=”PrimarySmtpAddress”;expression={$_.Name}}, Count

Looking for cli tool that can convert ordinary html into rss

Does a tool like this exist?
What I'm thinking of:

does something like this exist? Note: I am not interested in "online services" that do it for me.
The main use case: a lot of blogs have comments which i want to follow, but no rss feeds for the comments, so i want to create my own feed.

The params values may be set from the command-line for those that can't be guessed from the source file.
While xsltproc is a generic tool, stylesheets are mostly site specific

Look for a tool to view BLOB value

Hi all,
Although I know that I can write a simple java program to view and insert values to BLOB field, I hope there could be a tool by which I can handle BLOB field easily and quickly. Can anybody recommend a tool or some SQL statement? Thank you in advance!

Looking for Utility/Tool

Has anyone out there written a tool or utility that interogrates a list of Crystal Reports on a server to extract the name of the database connection being used in each report?
If so, I'd be interested in knowing what you have done to extract this information.
I've got to seach over 200 reports to search whether a specific database login is being used in any of these 200 reports.
I'd appreciate any useful feedback.

Looking for a HTTPS/HTTP mixed content "sniffer" tool

I am hoping someone here can help me out. I am looking for a tool/addon that can point out exact what on the page is triggering a mixed content error. The browser will tell me that something on the page is not secure, but it won't tell me where or what the non secure item is so I can fix it.
Here is my recent example of this problem.
I had a issue with a HTTPS page with a doubleclick tracking pixel on it. It was a standard tracking pixel iframed on to the page and the page iframed was HTTPS with no cert problems. It turned out that the page being iframed has a javascript call that was HTTP and this was triggering the mixed content error.
Unfortunately it took me almost two days to figure out the page being iframed was making the non-ssl call, not anything on the site.
If anyone here could help me find a tool or point to a browser feature that I don't know about that could help me sniff out these mixed content error faster you would make my life so much easier.

You can glean a little more information from Firefox's Browser Console (Ctrl+Shift+j). Mixed content blocks generate a log entry in the security category. If you enter mix in the filter box in the upper right of the console, that should help drill down on the message. (Screen shot example attached.)
Now... you still need to figure out what is generating the request, but hopefully this will help.
