You have been able to pull out some great links to apple docs that I have yet to figure out how to search for them and get the exact same documents.
I was wondering if you would mind e-mailing me a listing of all the document links you have for my future use?
I have found every one you have linked completely helpful and can not imagine what else you might have found that will be useful as well.

The new format broke all the old links to FAQs and Tips - none of them work. I've been slowly recapturing new links as I need the articles. It's tedious, 'cause it's necessary to dig into the many pages in the User Tips Library area to find the one wanted. -
I have two iPads and giving 1st gen. to my grandson. Using my Apple idI for both... can we use different passwords to access our "own" apps. Also I don't want the downloaded App to go to both iPads. Been looking for hours for an explanation! Thanks for any help.

The password is set on the WiFi router providing the service, by the owner of the network to prevent unwanted "guests" accessing the network. The only way to know it is to ask the owner permission to use the network. Otherwise, you have to find a free WiFi hotspot that doesn't require a password.

looking for a FREE english to malay and malay to english (bidirectional) dictionary (kamus) to dowload to my mac book for use off line. i don't want to put my credit card number in my aplle id profile, so looks like any free app in i tunes is out for me. I've done all of these recommended steps. My problem is that I have a new laptop that I am trying to sync my iPhone (and iPad for that matter) via Wi-Fi but both devices are looking for the old laptop to sync. My iTunes is version 11.0..3.42, iPhone is 6.1.4, and iPad 6.1.3. Any suggestions?
All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.

I lost my iPhone a few days ago and I put it on the lost mode. I don't want to give up looking for it. If a person stole it, is there a way for them to get into it or is it locked? I don't want to give up!!! But if there is a way that they could get in and take over my phone with a new number without me deactivating the iPhone and activating a different phone with my number.
lost mode don't depend of the sim card. If you take your Iphone on Lost mode... anybody can use it with the original card sim or with an other one.
Did you try to localise it ?
But hope that thief don't make a restore of the Iphone... Call your Mobile Operator to try to block the IMEI Number. -
I migrated info from a hard drive to a new mac under time machine. It says I have shared files, but I don't see the old info on the new machine. Where do I look for it ? How do I make the old backup the basis for my new macbook ?
The old OS was Mac X 10.5.8. I think the new one is 10.7.2 Lion.Have a read here How do I set up a new Mac from an old one, its backups, or a PC?

How can I use pdf pack to convert cubase documents (music scores) into pdfs? I am looking for the former possibility to install acrobat like a printer but i don't have this option with "pdf pack". Can you help?

What format are those music scores (I'm not familiar with cubase documents). But, it may be that Adobe PDF Pack doesn't support that format. In that case, Acrobat is the way to go. You can then print your files to PDF as you'd like. You're welcome to try Acrobat for free for 30 days to see whether it's going to work for you. If you decide it is, and you'd like to use it going forward, you could convert your PDF Pack subscription into an Acrobat subscription.

To upgrade, you must buy Snow Leopard by calling the phone number in the Apple Online Store: 800-MY-APPLE (in the US).
Snow Leopard is not available for download from any legitimate source.

I can't get Safari to load period. It quits immediately. According to the troubleshooting, I'm to un-install any third party plug ins. Can anyone tell me what I should be looking for? I don't recall installing anything that wasn't an upgrade.
Unplug your iBook from the AC power, shut it down and take the main battery out for about fifteen minutes. Then you can put the battery back in, plug the power back in and restart. This should reset the USB and FireWire ports.
If that doesn't help, you could reset the Power Management Unit. Follow the instructions in Knowledge Base Article #14449 for resetting your PMU.
You probably should also startup from your Mac OS X install disk and run the Disk Utility to "repair disk" on your hard drive. This will determine if you've got some kind of file directory/software problems with the files on your hard drive.

Did you have a DVD movie in the drive at the time? DVD movie disks are UDF format, but not much else is.

I'm looking for software with similar functionality to Photoshop's Pixelbender / Oil Painting.
I'm especially interested in the bending of the pixels, along the lines of impressionist paintings - think van Gogh.
Any suggestions?If you are interested in computer simulated drawing and painting effects, have a look at the "ToonIt!" plug-in for Aperture. This will do some of the basic work for you, but you will have to do quite a lot of editing afterwards, to turn the image into a piece of art.
It might be easier, to do most of the drwing and painting yourself in the first place - ArtRage Deluxe is very versatile, if you have a large trackpad and pen.

Did you download and save that file to your computer or did you click an "Add to Firefox" button to install the extension?
In case of the latter you should have to confirm this via two steps.

Is there a way to import four individual monotracks as one audio clip with four channels? We recieved iso tracks from a four channel recorder and need to get the individual mono clips merged before we sync them with picture. In media composer there's
