Looking for Dreamweaver How to's

Hi all,
As a beginner, I am having problems with Dreamweaver CS4. Mainly with creating an email campain page. I have read so much on does and don't, which many people seem to disregard. I would like to know the following...
1. Should I use tables or divs or both, for holding text and images in position?
2. When I adjust the center line in a 3 row 3 column table, the center line moves in all rows. How do I adjust each center line in each row seperately?
3. When I send the HTML as email, the text and pictures move from their positions.
Can anyone point me to links that show beginner detailed page building?

Do you mean you lost your local copy of your site files from on an old
computer?
Log-in to your Remote Server and GET the site files using DW or your favorite
FTP application (Cute, Filezilla, WS_ftp, etc....)

Looking for eMac: How To Differentiate Between Models Document

Hello,
I have been trying to find an Apple help document about how to differentiate between eMac models.
I have found an article about iMacs, but can not seem to find one for eMacs. Here is a link to the iMac article, just so you can better understand exactly what I've been looking for:

Thank you for your help and for responding to my post.. The article you posted would have completely solved my problem, however, I, unfortunately, do not have access to serial numbers, and the serial number is mandatory for identifying eMac models in the article you posted. I appologize for not being more specific about exactly what I need.
You see, I am looking on eBay for a good, used, possibly older eMac for my mom. Unfortunately, nobody puts serial numbers in their eMac listings, so I can not properly identify and price compare different eMacs. eBay sellers only list such things as Model Name, Processor Speed MHz, SDRAM and Hard Drive GB, so I need a list to 'check against' like the iMac document. I am mostly trying to find out which eMac models came with DVD players, and also which ones are AirPort ready and AirPort Extreme enabled etc.
Would you happen to know if there's any such eMac model document?

For Dreamweaver how to copy database to MAMP

How do I copy a database for use with MySQL?
MAMP PRO web server and the MySQL server are running.
Via http:localhost:8888/MAMP/ phhpMyAdmin screen is visible and shows four databases by default from installation:
information_schema
mysql
performance_schema
test
There is data in the first three. On page 345 of Adobe Dreamweaver CS5 Classroom in a book instructions are: " Copy this database [greendata] to the testing server as required under your PHP/MySQL server installation." I installed MAMP using the all in one step option. Everything seems to work fine. But no where can I find instructions for copying a database to the testing server.
On the same page in the digital Classroom in a Book there is the "tip: In OS X, the greendata database … would be copied to the MAMP > db > mysql." I have copied greendata there. And see two other folders there, performance_schema and mysql. Those are two of the databases that I can access in phpMySQL. But my database, greendata is not visible.
So where do I copy the database and how do I access it?

Can anyone here help me find a dreamweaver tutor near Buffalo Grove, IL? I volunteer for a children's hospital and want to move our existing website from iweb to dreamweaver. I've taken the intense 3-day DW course twice, but since I don't use it on a daily basis, it's hard to remember everything and apply what I've learned to a specific project. I love learning with Apple's One on One program and am hoping to find someone who can coach me through the process of creating a website in DW. Any thoughts?

Like SnakEyez02 I think you might benefit from at least taking a look at Wordpress. If you enjoy learning, why devote that to a product that you are not going to use regularly? Wordpress is a highly regarded platform that a wide range of people get a good end result with. People who have absolutely no knowledge of code through experts to who make a living out of it. If you want to press on with Dreamweaver then you need to brush up on your HTML CSS skills and unless you do, it will be a cruel mistress! Wordpress equally, will serve you better if you have a good understanding of the underlying technologies which on top of HTML and CSS, includes PHP.
With Wordpress, you can build a site, enable others to contribute content, and easily add the ability for users to interact. You can add heaps of functionality through plugins and you can start small and build it up. A couple of books might interest you: Biginning Wordpress 3.0 and Smashing Wordpress: Beyond the Blog.
Wordpress has a hugh following and community with masses of tutorials, sites and freebies that will help you on your way.

What is Finder looking for? How can I make it stop?

I've just repaired permissions w/ Disk Utility and run MacJanitor (three times) and restarted. Finder cannot open any files, including my two mounted drives. Although I'm often connected to my antique OS9 PB3400, it was off at the time.
Now when I attempt to open anything Finder tries (sometimes it's a completely blank window) to give me a server login with the admin user's name filed in, asking for the password to connect as a Registered User to server 'KT iMac' (never heard of it).
Canceling, trying to connect as Guest or using one of my three passwords—I'm one of those securityphobes—produces the same result. Beachball of Death. Repeated Finder relaunches/Force quits w/ ActivityMonitor are fruitless, unless the occasional "Finder hung, application not responding" message is progress. Still can't open.
Applications appear unaffected, except when they expect Finder to do something for them. Ironically, the Find function works OK, but trying to use it as a backdoor to open a folder further up the hierarchy just gets the login futility going.
Seems to me that somewhere Finder's getting info from some file or cache that tells it a connection to this mythical server's required for proper functioning. I've nothing showing in Recent Servers—cleared that list—where else might I look? Or am I out-to-lunch on this?
If it's relevant, MacJanitor finishes its All Tasks run w/ a report that begins:
Rebuilding whatis database:
find: /usr/local/man: No such file or directory
makewhatis: /usr/share/man/man3/DHparams_print.3ssl: No such file or directory
makewhatis: /usr/share/man/man3/DHparamsprintfp.3ssl: No such file or directory

Looking for tutorial: how to add a big "Play" button to a web Flash video

Can't seem to find out how to do this: I've imported a Flash

Looking for Solution(How to wait some particular time in pi7.1)

Hi Experts,
We have a source folder with a number of files in it, same name but with date time stamp. PI reads the files and sends them to the target folder with one unique name. From the target folder the file is picked up and processed by SAP, which deletes the file after processing.
When the SAP process is too slow the next file cannot be stored as the former file is still in the folder. After (let's say) 3 failed tries, an email is sent to a support person and the whole process is aborted.
The support person needs to delete the file manually and in the next scheduled run the remaining files in the target folder together with new ones are read by PI.
Here is a proposal of how I think it can be done. I don't know if the second loop can be executed on the read files of the first loop. Additionally, the email may only be sent once. I know, we can use alert configuration for the email but I'd rather have the email sent as an inbound message

Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having an issue with a "Paper Jam " error .
I do have a few steps that we can run through to troubleshoot this issue.
First off, please make sure that you have the printer power cable connected directly to a wall outlet and not a power bar/strip. Here is a document that uses a LaserJet printer as an example but it is meant for HP products in general. Please click on the following link that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.
I have also located a document that deals with a 'Paper Jam' Message Displays on the All-in-One.

Looking for a "how to" force the ipod to recognize a movie as a movie

its Driving me nuts when ever i copy a movie onto the ipod it will put it into a random category sometimes its put into tv shows sometimes into music sometimes into podcast
is there a way to make a movie be recognized as movie , a tv series as a series ? I have quite a large dvd collection of series and such that would be nice if i could also take with me on the go and this total lack of control or setting for this kind of thing is driving me nuts after trying to get this to work for 2 days with no luck
and also is there a way to sort of sort movies the same way it can sort the tunes so i can have my comedies in one category and my action movies in another ?
any help would be appreciated beforer i return this ipod out of sheer frustration

You can right click your video file, go to "Get Info", and select the Video tab and change the file type to Movie, TV Show, or Music Video, and then once that video is synced to the iPod it will be sorted into the proper location.
You can also create playlists of your video content. That would be the easiest/best way to get your genre classification system going.
