Looking for evaluation of BOE XI 3.1 Fix Pack 2.2 Upgrade Experience

I have a customer interested in upgrading from BOE XI 3.1 Fix Pack 1.2 to Fix Pack 2.2 which has recently been released and expectedly improves the SAP BW integration. The customer primarily uses Webi and Xcelsius. Prior to upgrading to Fix Pack 2.2, they would like to know of other upgrade experiences in terms of stability, regression testing, issues, new functionality, etc.
If you have any such experience, please let me know your feedback by responding to this thread. Kindly include which Fix Pack you were on prior to the upgrade in your response.

I have a sata II samsung 5400 rpm and i am only able to transfer at 85 read right speed.
On my main drive sata III ocz agility 3 ssd i get 120 mb read and 180 write.
Neither of these come close to the 300 mb promised. So it wont matter if he got sata II or III

OK, if you are so confident it would work, why not release a several clones of your Mac to several users to have a totally controlled environment for people to test your software under. Then people can at their leisure try to see if adding any of their commonly used programs to see if they affect What you are about to use.
If you distribute it under an uncontrolled environment, you can never know what actually is going wrong.
I think that just reading the code is the best way to find errors, but it's very long.
Furthermore, it is highly unlikely than more than 1/100th of 1% of the people on this board are programmers. Of those maybe 1/100th of 1% are still running Mac OS 9.

You'd have better luck trying to start a usergroup of people who use 9 by looking at http://www.apple.com/usergroups/ for people interested.
This being a user to user forum of people who are troubleshooting their own problems is not the best of places to find beta testers. People barely have time to troubleshoot their own problems with one program, let alone 130.
I hate to play the devil's advocate here, since I normally am optimistic, but I don't think you are going to get a significant number of testers here with your approach. -

Hint: You can check this by looking into the release notes note of the Fix Pack 2.1 for BO Edge. It contains the Fixed issues list of Fix Pack 2.5.

I am looking for an boolean and numeric expression evaluator. I want to be able to compare (>,=, <, or, not, and, nand, etc)and evaluate boolean/numeric expression. Does anyone know if there is any code samples anywhere. If anyone has any input, I would greately appreciate it.
The problem is that I have to enter a string of that type (any random string), and the program should go and calculate the result for the whole stirng, by looking at which parts to calculate first (figuring out precedence), second, etc. This is like a calculator, you don't know what the user is going to enter next, so I can't just use the boolean palatte. I could use it if the equation was always of the form "a 'operator' b", where the operator is any logic or comparison operator. But that is not what I am trying to accomplish.
Can you do logic in the formula node? I think it only allows numeric values for inputs and outputs, it doesn't let you enter in and output booleans and stuff..does it?

I am looking for an app where I can edit word documents as well as sign them. I am a physical therapist whose looking to cut down on paper work. Someone types my evaluations and then we print them out for me to edit by hand and then they go back and make the corrections on the computer then w print them and sign them to send off. Recently I have begun using apps where I can pull up the document and edit it thru quickofficepro or through cloudon, but I cannot sign them using a stylus pen. I also have notability which I can use to sign the documents, but it doesn't save the document as a doc, it's either a PDF or rtf. Also, in notability, it doesn't pull up the letter head for our company which is a template with our logo on it. So I need an app where I can both edit and sign my documents by hand using a stylus. If someone could provide me with any relevant information I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

Looking for SQL Solution to Very Unique Problem

New here, thanks. I have what I think is an interesting problem. I really don't want to post it because the background and explanation is rather lengthy. It has to do with one table that holds some general info; there is a unique numeric primary key. Associated with this table are three different tables identical in structure, having only two fields: the primary key, and a code. The three tables correspond to test results performed by a different individual. For each entry in the main table, where there is one and only one entry for the primary key, the same test could have been performed one, two, or three times. So there could be one, two, or three different sets of codes describing the test results. Only one set of the test result codes is the correct one. And there is a hierarchy that determines which is the correct set of codes. Say the main table is called LR. LR is linked to three different tables, each of which has the exact same structure. The relationship between LR and each of these three tables is one to many. Call the three tables that hold test results SCR, QC, and PT. Some assumptions can be made. In the table LR there are two flag fields: Q_STATUS and P_STATUS whose values each are either Y or N. If P_STATUS=Y, then we are guaranteed a set of test result codes in the table PT, and this set of codes is always the final word; always the correct results. If P_STATUS=N but Q_STATUS=Y, then we are guaranteed to have a set of test result codes in the table QC, and if this is the case, then this set of codes is the final word. Now if P_STATUS=N and Q_STATUS=N, then we know there is a set of test result codes in the SCR table, we know there is one and only one set of test result codes, hence this set is the correct one. Another assumption that can be made, for any row in the LR table, there will ALWAYS be at least one set of test result codes in the SCR table. There may or may not be a set of test result codes in the QC and PT tables, and the flags in the LR table indicate if either is the case. Hope this makes sense so far. For many years I have been trying to figure out one SQL statement that will return the correct set of test result codes. Often I have to analyze data that relies on the results of a test (e.g. how many tests had the code 850 in the year 2011?). That's a simple example, but you get the idea. Since I have to determine which set of test result codes is the correct one to use, I've always had to rely on writing a PL/SQL procedure anytime I have to work with test result codes. I tend to use a conditional: IF (P_STATUS=Y) THEN /*the right answer is in the table PT*/ ELSIF (Q_STATUS=Y) THEN /*the right answer is in the table QC*/ ELSE /*the right answer is in the table SCR*/. I have a document with a little more detail, and an example. Or maybe this makes absolute sense to someone out there and they know exactly what to tell me! And let me say this is not a critical issue for me. I've been searching for this SQL statement for about 10 years now. I consider myself pretty proficient with SQL, but definitely not a guru. I'm thinking the solution I'm looking for might rely one some kind of full outer join on all three of the tables SCR, QC, and PT and then if those results could be linked to the LR table, and then maybe in the SQL statement use of DECODE might do it. I want one SQL statement that will return me the correct set of testing result codes. Hope this all makes sense. To anyone who has read it I thank you very much. I would be very happy to provide my document with further explanation and an example. Any response is greatly appreciated. Guess I have to keep coming back here now to see if anyone responded. Oh, I might add that we use a very old version of Oracle (8.0.3) but, if all goes according to plan, we should migrate to the most current version within the next year.

Each sample that is evaluated is always screened by what I will call a "tech." Every so many cases the test must be repeated for quality control. If the findings of the initial testing or of a quality control test are found to contain abnormal results, then the test must also be repeated, this time looked at by a doctor. So I have what I refer to as the "main" table; the one that holds final data, which in my example I explained the two "flag" fields that indicate if the test was repeated. Every time a test is evaluated it is done by the same person, and the findings of an individual testing, or screening, are a set of test result codes. There is the "main" control table which I have called LR in my example. The reason I have the other three tables: one is used to store the test results of the initial screening (always done); one is used to hold the test results of a quality control case (may or may not be done); and one is used to hold the test results of an abnormal case that was screened by a doctor (may or may not be done). There is a separate table for each individual who may have done a screening.
Let us consider the results of just one case. In the table LR we have something like this:

By default, for any entry in the LR table there is always a set of codes in the SCR table. We know a quality control was performed because QC_STATUS=Y, and we know it was screened by a doctor because P_STATUS=Y. So we would have three different sets of findings, each in one of the three tables:

Since P_STATUS=Y I would want the result set returned to be {13R, 170, 180, 190}.
But suppose P_STATUS=N and Q_STATUS=Y then I would want the result set to be {13R, 150, 170}
And if P_STATUS=N and Q_STATUS=N then I would want {014, 13R, 150, 160}
Of all of the sets of test results codes, only ONE is ever the final word (i.e. the right answer).
So what I was trying to do is find a query that would give me what I want. And my apologies if there is a major design flaw. I always thought it was not that bad. But then I am no SQL guru either.

Hi all, I don't know if this the right place to ask my question,here it goes.
I am looking to develop a client-server that supports multiple protocols such as HTTP, HTTPS etc. I am looking for a framework( i don't know if that is correct or I need some kind of web-service (soap etc)) that would manage connection, security etc. I would like to like to devote most of my time in developing business objects with multiple delivery mechanism such as sending serilized java objects, xml message or soap message, or in some case JMS message as well. So I need a client server that can come in via TCP/IP or HTTP or anyother industry standard protocol and I should be able to service him with pub/sub model and also request/response model as well.
I don't know if I had explained what I need, I would like to know what technologies I should be evaluating and which direction I should be heading... Also the server I'm developing should be free of Java constraints if needed...
Also this service is not webbased service as now but if need arises I should have a flexibilty to make them web enabled in future. To change the border of the current client, you can use bn to use the normal border (including window title), bp to use a 1-pixel border (no window title) and bb to make the client borderless. There is also bt which will toggle the different border styles.

I'm looking for a nice solution for the following problem:
I'm measuring different data at the same time (with different devices).
I would like to save these data all in one array (or cluster?), but I
don't know exactly the way to do this. All values have corresponding
time values. So for one data type it would result in a 2d array,
wouldn't it? But how can I save different data types with their time
values in one array? Or should I take a cluster? And how can I get only
a certain type of data out of this array or cluster again? E.g. if I
only need data type "3" with its time stamps for evaluation? I would
really appreciate an example, I work with LV 7. Thanks!
Then - for evaluation - I only need one data type of these different
data. Which one I would like to choose via the frontpanel (it changes
from test to test). So, I thought of a case structure (where I can
choose which data type and correspondingly which evaluation way). The
evaluation steps for the different data types are quite the same, but
can vary in order of execution. I could write for every case the
(nearly) same evaluation steps, but this would take a lot of time, plus
if I need to change one step I need to change it in every case.
Does anybody know a better way?

There is "array subset", which allows you to get any desired subset from an array. If yoyu want entire rows or colums, use "index array".
To display the last 30 values in a chart, just feed the data to a chart with the history size set to 30 elements. The rest will fall into place.

RamI am now up and running. Several tips were found on both Adobe and Oracle sites that were helpful. Here is a brief summary of the steps:
Step 1, download* the Oracle Database11G release 2 Client for Microsoft Windows x64. (not the Instant Client). Follow the instructions provided on the download site. Select just the items you need from the custom install form.
Step 2, add your datasources using the Oracle Net Configuration Assistant**. Select Local Net Service Name Config. Follow the prompts, answer the questions.
Step 3, add your datasources on Windows 2008 Server with Administrative Tools Datasources. Similar to step 2.
Step 4, in CF10 Administrator set up your datasources. The first thing to do is set your Class Path to the location of the jdbc .jar files. When you configured the Oracle installation you specified the location of the files. Go there and look for the\jdbc\lib folder. It contains the jar files for your drivers. Example: C:\\Oracle\home\jdbc\lib\. Now add your datasources. Select Other from the drivers drop-down list. This may be the tricky part. You will need the database information for connecting, such as host name, port, user, password, etc. The connect url will look like: jdbc:oracle:thin@hostname:portnumber:servicename. Class: oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver Name: whatever

I have a JComboBox (a drop menu) that when opened clears all its items and then adds new items from a list. Whenever the list is augmented (and is small), the JComboBox's display size is too small, and it creates a little scrollbar to accomodate. When the popmenu is closed and reopened, the menu is normal. The problem is that when I open the menu after adding a new item to a list, I have to triple click the JComboBox to make it display correctly.
Numbers 2 and 4 are unwanted displays.

I could fix it by having the button itself change the contents of the JComboBox (instead of popupMenuWillBecomeVisible()), but I want to have lazy evaluation for it because in my actual program the ArrayList will have to be sorted each time and the JComboBox will have to re-add all its contents. I suppose this is always an option, but I would like to know how to do it this or some other way.
