Looking for font similar to Anzeigen

I'm looking for a font (free and legal of course!) that looks like Anzeigen.
I'm addressing myself to people who know this font of course.
I can't show a preview here.
It kind of looks like Helv compressed.
Thanks

  • Looking for font "Indivisible"

    Hi
I am looking for at font called Indivisible.
    Can anybody help me?
I have been toold it´s a free font, but I am not sure

Indivisible was a free monospaced font produced by the Process Type
Foundry in 2002., with restricted re-distribution, so it doesn't
appear even on legitimate free font sites.
It doesn't appear on their site at all.
You might try contacting them directly.
    [email protected]
The font is similar in many respects to the more recent Zolan Mono
    BTN, but far from identical.

  • Looking for app similar to Nicecast (Internet audio streaming)

I am a new Arch user migrating from Mac OS X. I am looking for an app similar to Nicecast from Rogue Amoeba.
Nicecast takes an audio input (a mic, for example), provides some basic, real-time filters and outputs to an Icecast server. (Both Icecast and Shoutcast support would be ideal.)
    Suggestions?
    Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I do know BUTT; I used it in OS X a few times. It can do the broadcast portion but lacks the effects filters of Nicecast.

  • Looking for something similar to Slideshow Pro...

I'm looking for something that my clients can upload their photos to a page on their website via some sort of admin interface such as Slideshow Pro had.  They have shut down their site.  They were Flash based, although you could still view the slideshows on any Apple device.
I don't care if it looks like the slideshows that they created.  I'm just looking to have something of a lightbox, but I need the client to be able to upload their own, and change their own photos.
I would like the admin interface to be online, so they don't have to upload an app to one computer.  I don't build my sites using Wordpress, so a Wordpress plugin is not an option.
Thanks in advance for any help!

I went ahead and purchased it anyway (about $80 US for the pro version which gives you online admin)!  Just seemed pretty easy.  No database setup even!
I put a basic test page here: http://willowweb.ca/testPhotos.php
The Web admin is really simple.  Not as robust as Slideshow pro, but then again, I would take about an hour to show someone how to use it, and then a few months later, they would ask me to come back and show them again.  Doesn't look like I'll have that problem this time!
It does show up on an Apple device, so it's definitely not Flash based.
Still trying to figure out the tools a bit, but doesn't look like a huge learning curve.  I will play around with it, and let you know whether I give it my thumbs up!

  • HELP!!  Looking for iDVD similar software to make home movies.

I recently purchased my Mac and it is my first (previously only had PC's)  My computer came with iLife-but only iPhoto, iMovie, and iGarage band.  I am looking for something to make my home movies and play on a dvd player-with a menu page, ect.

OK, i have handbreak, but i opened the program, clicked "source" and chose my video-it stops and says "no valid souce found"  not sure where to make a video from.  the video is recorded as .mov format.

  • Still looking for font solution

A problem I'm trying to get resolved:
I have some true type fonts. When I attempt to open their suitcase all it does is open font book and displays one version of the font.
I recall in earlier OSs you could click open the suitcase and view the font names and sizes within.
    Am I doing something wrong?
If I have 8 styles of a font do I need 8 suitcases, or is one enough? If one is enough does the suitcase have to include all the font styles inside, or is just one style enough?
    One other question:
QuarkXPress support claims that the printer fonts are missing in the fonts I've asked them to analyze.
However, these same fonts have printed normal on my inkjet and also at one of the print on demand printers. The fonts printed ok in RGB documents, but the same document printed in CMYK has the type substituted with courier.
PS: These same fonts have printed successfully in both RGB and CMYK in the past. The only difference that I can think of is that the document PDF files were created through Quark running OS 10.3. The errors began when I switched to OS 10.4. Could this be the cause, because if it is then how come the RGB PDFs created in OS 10.4 still print ok?
    Any ideas are welcomed.
    Thanks

    Frank,
I wondered what type of fonts you were using and your query is a bit telling. Briefly…
TrueType fonts: both the screen and printer fonts for all styles are wrapped in one document.
PostScript fonts: Generally, a typeface has one screen font document with the various styles and separate documents for each printer font file as a vector drawing. If the typeface has many styles, e.g., light, roman, book, heavy, demibold, bold, extra bold, etc. then the manufacturer may create a few screen font documents.
Here’s an Apple doc about Font Formats
Although, Apple, Microsoft and other organizations say that the two type formats can work together in OS X, in my experience, TrueType fonts are trouble in Quark XPress documents. I do not have the expertise to explain the technical aspects, but Quark is a graphics application different from a wordprocess application. Printing Quark docs goes through a raster imaging process and many non-postscript printers can “emulate” postscript but they are not true PostScript. For example, kerned text may not print the same if different types of fonts are used. Some TrueType fonts may have the same name as PostScript fonts which can create a conflict as to which one the printer uses. I am not sure how ID numbers are assigned to truetype fonts. I think that each postscript printer font has its own ID number.
To learn more about fonts, Kurt Lang has great information on Font Management.
A couple of things you might do are: (a) check for duplicate fonts with your font management application, e.g., Font Book, Suitcase, FontExplorer etc. and (b) clear your font cache with Font Finagler or Font Nuke.
With respect to your document having RGB and CMYK images…generally, in the “high-end” lithography industry, all color photos have to be CMYK because those are printing press ink colors. RGB are not ink colors. So, I wonder if when the Quark PDF converter identifies a CMYK image, it then expects to find either a postscript or opentype font and when it does NOT it substitutes…

  • Looking for something similar to Skype

is there anything that is similar to skype that is really dependable? need something to voice with hubby while out of town working and has to work on wifi.  he has a bb curve 9300 and I have an iphone5... thank you

For his curve, he will need a BIS plan to use BBM and wifi to use BBM Voice (Call over wifi feature). On your iPhone you just need WiFi. If he doesn't have a BIS plan I suggest trying other Messengers like VIBER or LINE or KAKAO TALK, I think they offer free wifi calling no BIS plan needed (Not 100% sure because I don't personally use them). Try Viber first and let's see if it works. Goodluck!

  • Looking for a font like...

I've recently discovered this font and I really like it:
    It's drift (from Artwiz).
But I need to use accents and other characters (like ¿) and drift doesn't support those (actually I think none of the Artwiz fonts are capable to do that that). Well, the thing is that I'm looking for a similar font with those characters included.
    Hope you can help me.
    (Waiting for Daisuke_Aramaki answer )

Daisuke_Aramaki wrote:Take a look at screen from the sgi font package. Not sure about the accents, but since it's been around for ages it could render those. Lucida Typewriter is another one i can think of.
Thanks a lot! I never heard about sgi-fonts before, screen works perfect and looks "cleaner" than drift, which is satisfactory for my eyes.
    I'm ashamed of myself.
Google for the term 'pixel fonts'. Some specific fonts that come to mind are gohufont (search these here forums), progsole, and pragmata.

  • I have a question that I think I know the answer to, but am looking for confirmation.  I have a dell computer at home that has clip art available on it for putting pictures into documents.  Do I need to install an APP to get something similar to clip art?

I have a question that I think I know the answer to, but am looking for confirmation.  I have a desktop computer at home that has clip art loaded onto it.  I recently got an iPad and am looking for something similar.  I assume I need to get an APP for it, and if that is correct, does anyone have one that they like?

Sort of.  There is an app called art shop that gives you a place to park clip art.   But I don't think you really need it.
If you have a collection of clip art you want available, move it to the camera roll on your pad/ phone, then copy paste into your document the clip you want.
You can get them into the camaera roll by putting them in a single event in your picture library and syncing them over,  or e mail them to your self, and save to the camera roll, or send them to drop box, and bring them down that way.
The challenge is getting them all in one place to make it easy for you to find, which is why syncing might be the best approach in the long run.
As near as I can tell there is not a ready made clip art collection in app format laying around.

  • Looking for Documentation on PeopleSoft Delivered App Packages.

    Hey Guys,
Do anyone know whether PeopleSoft provide documentation for the Delivered App Packages.
I'm expecting something like Java documentation, we get complete documentation like complete list of classes, respective methods, properties, and relation with other classes and packages.
It would be really helpful, if there is any documentation something similar for PeopleSoft Delivered Packages too.
    Thanks in advance.

I've been looking for something similar. There is some interesting stuff around the CDM for PeopleSoft CRM:

However nothing as comprehensive as JavaDoc for PeopleSoft - well that I know of anyway.
