Your insights will help us improve our platform and tools as well as develop new solutions. You do not need to be Flash developers to participate.

We are going to start a new project, where the client already has EPM add in for Microsoft 7.5. We need to migrate this system to EPM add in for Net Weaver 10.0. When we would testing systems we need to have on the one local PC 2 products :EPM add in for Microsoft 7.5 and EPM add in for Net Weaver 10.0 to compare results. Is it possible to use them parallel? Is there any SAP documents or official materials where is information about this situation.

I have the same problem to migrate project, you can' t have both of them logged on at the same time
I solve my problem with a virtual machine, i use VMWare with BPC 7.5 version and host machine with BPC 10 Version.

Getting an error while activating a planning area "Enter values for planning horizon From and planning horizon To for the storage time profile level"

Dear S&OP community,
I am getting following error while creating a planning ares in a newly installed sandbox. "Enter values for planning horizon From and planning horizon To for the storage time profile level".
This what I did...
1) Created new attributes and master data objects and activated them successfully.
2) Time profile created and activated successfully
3) Trying to create planing area by assigning time profile in step 2 and assigned master data from step1..Unable to save the data and system returns
this error - "Enter values for planning horizon From and planning horizon To for the storage time profile level"
My understanding is time profile needs to be active but doesn't have to have values...
Any help is appreciated.

It depends on the KPI you are extracting for,if Business Content Extractor provides you with those then there is no need for generic extractors.
In CO-PA the KPI for profitability differs from client to client.You have Business Content for CO-PA also...

No... if you do not have CS3 installed, you will enter your CS3 serial number when asked for proof of a qualifying product... and then you will enter your different CS5 serial number... every version, new or upgrade, has a unique serial number

This is normal for this query however what I need to do is a little different.
In other words, while I need to show when we recorded a specific event first and last time,
I need to display the results for the last date/time when it was recorded.
For example what I need to provide should look like this:

What's the recommended setting for "Process memory usage" ("process virtual" in UI) for a 64-bit host on a 64-bit OS?

In resource based throttling, what's the recommended setting for "Process memory usage" ("process virtual" in the resource based throttling tab of the UI) for a 64-bit host
on a 64-bit Windows OS?
According to MS (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee308808(v=bts.10).aspx):
"By default, the
Process memory usage throttling threshold is set to 25. If this value is exceeded and the BizTalk process memory usage is more than 300 MB, a throttling condition may occur. On a 32-bit
server, you can increase the Process memory usage value to 50. On a 64-bit server, you can increase this value to 100. This allows for more memory consumption by the BizTalk process before throttling
occurs."
Does this mean that 100 is the recommended setting for a 64-bit host on a 64-bit Windows?

Hi Michael,
Recommended setting is the default setting which is 25 .dot.
If your situation is abnormal and you see message delivery throttling state to “4” when the following performance counters are high or if you expect any of you integration
process could have impact on following counters, then you can consider the suggestion by Microsoft. Don’t change the default setting.
High process memory
Process memory usage (MB)
Process memory usage threshold (MB)
You can see these counters under “BizTalk:MessageAgent”
You can gauge these performance counter and its maximum values if have done any regression/performance testing in your test servers. If you have seen these counters having
high values and causing throttling, then you can update the Process memory usage.
Or unexpectedly you’re process high throughput messages in production which is causing these counters to go high and cause throttling, then up can update the Process memory
usage.
The above two cases where I know my expected process usage (by doing performance testing) or suddenly my production server processing has gone high due to unexpected business
hike (or any reasons) which caused throttling, then do changes to default throttling setting.
Just changing the default setting without actual reason could have adverse effect where you end up allocating
more processing capacities but the actual message processing message usage ever is low means you end up investing in underutilised resources.

How do I unverify an alternate email for one Apple ID and then use it for another Apple ID?

So I need to use my email address for another Apple ID and when I enter it, it says that its already verified when I deleted it from my other Apple ID. Does anyone know how I unverify that email address???? Please help!!!

Hey, try these steps:
Go to My Apple ID.
Select Manage your Apple ID and sign in.
Scroll down to check if there are alternate and additional email addresses
Delete or remove those email addresses

Re-assigning a retail license for Office 2010 Home and Student - any charge for support?

I want to re-assign one of three licenses for Office, but I went to the Support website, which prompted for the product ID and indicated that the "free support"period had expired, presumably because it is 12 months since I first installed it.
Can the reassignment be organised at the time of activating on the new computer by phone? Would a person be speaking with a human if doing a phone activation? Will there be a charge and what's it likely to cost?
I also have a suggestion for Microsoft: a de-activation routine that would enable the license transfer process without the need for human support.

Normally Office for a retail version can only be activated once at a time in one computer, Office 2010 Home &Student can be installed on three machines.

Now sure abour your requirment but if you pulling billing data then you can use follwoing fields
"Number of pipes" = quantity = VBRP-FKIMG (Actual Invoiced Quantity / Billed quantity)
"length" = MARA - LAENG (base don mataerial no u can get this from Material master)
