I need to know how to open the messages app without reading a message someone sent to me..
I have my read receipts on because I like for people to know that I got their messages (most of the time).. But somebody texted me and I don't want to read their message. If I tap the messages app, then it will automatically pull that message up. Is there any way I can set my phone to where I can click the messages app to create a new message without reading the one this person sent to me?
Turn off Send Read Receipts. Then open the Messages app.

SECAM help, need to know how to make a secam project
I Need to make a DVD that can be played in France. I understand that the standard in France is SECAM. I can't find a preset when making a project for SECAM or info on the web about what resolution to make if I were to create a custom preset.

This is true. I have shot in NTSC and had to send a PAL version of the final video over to Europe, so I edited in NTSC and converted it to PAL in Encore. Worked fine, from what the client told me, although I never got to see the final PAL version since we don't have a PAL compatible DVD player in the office. Since getting my iPad, I've had to switch the Apple ID twice and now I have a new Gmail account (old email was also Gmail). How do I sync all my apps, programs and calendars over to the new accounts? Right now I can't update old apps because the Apple ID is no longer valid and I can't get my calendar to show my new email, only the old one.
Apps are always tied to the ID with which you bought them. You cannot transfer purchased content to a new Apple ID. Are you sure that the old ID is no longer valid? Try using the old ID and password to update your apps.

DId you just turn off the radio (does the blue light indicate that)? If so, go to Setup > Network and turn the radio back on.
Or did you reset the defaults?

Apple does not accept unsolicited ideas. If you insist on sending them your idea according to Apples policies the idea becomes the property of Apple and you loose all rights to it.
It would be better for you to develop the idea, then if it amounts to anything and Apple is interested they will contact you. (As with Apples current move to acquire Beats Electronics).

Getting back is hard, but go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and under Calendars check the time for syncing...set that as far back as you can, the default is one month.
