Looking for Local XSan Expert

We've recently set up 4 Seats on Xsan and while we've had a knowledgeable admin set up the system, we're in need of someone to help maintain and be on call for any issue we may experience. We have a 10 TB system and are working in FCP. Any advice on how to find someone in the Nashville, TN area?

HTML, CSS & JavaScript are not hard concepts to learn on your own. PHP/MySql is more advanced and should be undertaken only after you have a working knowledge of the other three.

I can only speak for myself but like most people here, I regularly donate time to this and other forums while simultaneously working on client projects. Looking for local VRU-PIM TCP port

Hi Team,
I am setting a VRU-PG to connect an external IVR, however I couldn't find anywhere what is the TCP port number used by the vrupim.exe process to open our firewall port accordingly.
Is the VRU port dynamic ? "The port Port Utilization Guide for Cisco Unified Intelligent Contact ManagementEnterprise & Hosted Release 8.0" document mentions that for GED-125 the server Protocol/Port is TCP 5000–5001.
However in my case the local TCP port of vrupim.exe keeps changing. Whenever I cycle the PG it is changed to 1102, or 3352, 3407, 3443 etc..

VRUIpHostName 10.173.33.143. However this is not what I am looking for.
I am looking for the local port range which is used by the the VRUPIM.EXE process which is at the moment 2481 (see belloww). This is because the is a firewall on the remote site, where the VRU server is located, and they need to know which are the ports to open.

Looking For Adobe Edge Experts

I tried a Google search but wasn't getting what I was looking for. We have a couple of people on our in-house creative team who develop in Adobe Edge. However, they are uanble to fulfill all of the requests we get for this type of work. We can't get more head count for our department just yet so are searching for reputable Adobe Edge experts who we would like to outsource some of the overflow work to. Smartforms - delete old variables - looking for a real expert

Is there any possibility in Smartforms, that I don't know, with which I can analyse my fom. I want to check which variables aren't needed any more. So that I can delete them and I have a nice and clean form.
How I loved my analyse tool in sapscript... I would write an new one, but I didn't found out how the texts are saved in the system.
Is there anybody out there, who can help me?

Looking for a PDF expert to advise me on conversion problems with Hindu fonts.

I guess that PDF does not support Hindi fonts so I have outlined my indesign original document.
When I do the PDF conversion, the commas add a small outline of a box above the comma. This is not in the document before the PDF conversion.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I assume you are using devanagari characters to write hindi. PDF should have no trouble to display devanagari, but this is not the end of the story.
To correctly show devanagari requires complex shaping procedures including character reordering and changing the shapes of characters, and repositioning (see Shaping: Devanagari OpenType specification to see how Windows handles this). PDF does not do any of this, but that is not a problem. Rather, the creator of the PDF must complete reordering, choosing different shapes, and changing positions, and only then can the PDF be made. It should show correctly on screen. If it does not this is probably not a fault in the PDF viewer, but a fault in the programs which MAKE the PDF (InDesign in your case).
So you need to be sure that you are using a version of InDesign with full support for devanagari including complex shaping and PDF export. If you do not have this support, it will not be feasable to set your hindi text. And if the PDF is wrong, this is something for the support for InDesign (or the InDesign add-on you buy).

How Oracle knows which INDEX to be called?

The one that is recommended, totally depends on the queries you'll be firing against your table. If the queries will be like:
select ... from TableA where Column1 = :1and
select ... from TableA where Column2 = :1then your first option is the right one. If they are:
select ... from TableA where Column1 = :1 and Column2 = :2then your second option seems right.
Note that with the second option, this index may also be used in the first two queries, if the selectivity is good enough. But again, this depends on your data and data distribution.
How Oracle knows which INDEX to be called?By using his cost based optimizer and predicting the cardinalities and the selectivity of your indexes.
