You could try uninstalling iTunes and all of its components as by following this guide: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923, then reinstalling iTunes. This will replace a potentially corrupt Outlook plugin. You must follow this guide exactly or it will not be successful. Note: uninstalling iTunes will only remove the application; it will not touch your iTunes library or data.

Looking for desktop calendar & contacts (not Outlook, Yahoo etc)

I just bought my first ipod Touch. I'm looking for a stand alone calendar and address book that will sync with my Touch. I don't want to use Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo or anything like that. I use PC's with Windows XP.

iPod works best using iTunes to sync.
iTunes on a PC syncs with Outlook.
I'm basically looking for an app that I can download onto my PC that is a calendar and address book (similar to a Palm desktop app). I don't want to be dependent on having internet access to see my address book and calendar.
Well, Outlook fits this. (I hate Outlook, but that is what iTunes syncs with on a PC.
You'd sync and you'd use Calendar and Contacts on your iPod. You would not need Internet access.

JAXB looking for tag type rather than tag name?

Hi everyone.
I'm trying to use JAXB to load an xml file, [http://www.unimod.org/xml/unimod.xml|http://www.unimod.org/xml/unimod.xml] . The schema is at [http://www.unimod.org/xmlns/schema/unimod_2/unimod_2.xsd|http://www.unimod.org/xmlns/schema/unimod_2/unimod_2.xsd] . I generate my classes using xjc with no problems. My unmarshalling code is simple enough:

}At first I got an exception saying that unimod (the top-level tag) is unexpected and that the expected element is (none). I solved this by adding the @XmlRootElement tag into my UnimodT class. Now I am getting a javax.xml.bind.UnmarshalException :
"unexpected element (uri:"http://www.unimod.org/xmlns/schema/unimod_2", local:"unimod"). Expected elements are <{http://www.unimod.org/xmlns/schema/unimod_2}unimodT>"
I am guessing this means that it is looking for a <unimodT> tag while the actual tag name is <unimod>.
This is how the xml file starts:

1) Maybe I should do something with the namespace, "umod"?

I seem to have solved my problem by adding the namespace and name of the tag on the XmlRootElement annotation:
@XmlRootElement(name="unimod",namespace="http://www.unimod.org/xmlns/schema/unimod_2")however I still don't understand
1) why it's not enough to specify the name of the tag in the @XmlType annotation
2) why the @XmlRootElement tag was not specified automatically
I guess I should just be happy that it works now.

We are processing a Vendor payment where discount is received, howeve, the message "For document type KZ, account type A is not defined' in the job log.
Can anyone please put some light on this error.

Hi,
T-code OBA7: there it is defined which doc. type is allowed to use which acount types.
SAP standard for KZ is to use vendor + GL account types.
So check your document that you are going tro post or, if you think its ok, post the same document in a test client and enable doc. type KZ in OBA7 to be used with asset account types to view the result of your posting.

G4 PB on the rocks... looking for love.

Have a 15" G4 PB about 2 yrs old, 1GB RAM, been real sweet to me... until lately. Its starting to show signs of aging; gets hung from time to time, real slow to do some things, seems to get confused, disoriented, moody, even disinterested. I took it out to a nice dinner the other night, it didnt even want to eat... Not sure if its a hw or sw(OS) thing, but just looking for some suggestions as to what I can try to reinvigorate our relationship, make it feel new and exciting again. From what I understand, OSX does a reasonable job of disk mgmt, so defragging isnt something that we really need to do... or is it? (just remembering the ol' IT job, defragging PC's left and right) Does the OS just need a rebuild? I have room for another 1GB RAM, but I thought that 1 should do fine (its not how big it is, but what you do with it, right?). HD sounds fine, no grinding or clicking. Battery does need replacing tho; 100% bat takes about 50mins to run down.

If you want to be real nice to that woman (PB), give her some regular attention, otherwise known as maintenance, and she will do anything for you in return. If you have never done it before, and if you are not up with your PB between 3 and 5 a.m. you are likely to be badly in need of Unix Maintenance (CRON cleaning). Looking for Appminer - type application for iPad

I used to use an app called AppSniper to identify when my favorite apps went on sale, but I believe the developer has slacked off on supporting it, and more often that not it fails to load these days. So I started looking at AppMiner and PandoraBox as alternatives (which are quite popular) but when I install these apps and search for iPad apps, they do NOT show up in the search results (only iphone and ipod touch apps). Can someone please recommend a good appsniper that I can use to track sales on iPad apps?

Looking for a type of app

I really liked the Note part of the iPod Videos. The little program where you could get any word document or notepad document on your computer, then download it right onto your iPod and view it there. I want something simple like that for the iPhone. The note application that comes on the iPhone is just for typing notes, I want to be able to like, take some poems, or essays, or a list of vocabulary words or something, and view them on my iPhone whenever. Is there any app or way I can do this on the iPhone? Thank you.

If you've got a Wi-Fi connection (only way to transfer those files unless you want to email them all to yourself at least until 3.0) there's a lot of app's out there from airsharing to memorystick then there's also the reader programs like quickfiles and then also the book programs like Stanza and eReader etc... as well. Have a look through the app store in the "Productivity" category.

I need to save the key and the response value in cache for around 30mins
to reduce the web service calls for better performance.

I am working on trying to get LabView to communicate with an Allen-Bradley Compact Logix PLC using the NI Ethernet I/P driver. I am currently getting errors on both system of a CIP Message instruction error and cannot determine if the problem is in the PLC or the NI. Hello I have bought a macbook pro to help me streamline all my contacts and 2 IOS devices all through one computer very streamlined. Except I;ve run into a problem. When I open a contact it will have all the persons info address, picture, phone email. Then it will say Cards: On My Mac and Icloud when I open either one they have no info other than a phone number but none of the other info on it. Please ask any questions I have a hard time expressing my questions sometimes.

I would very much disagree with your comment. I along with all my family have used pages in a professional enviroment for the past four years and have experienced nothing but pleasure from it. It is a serious word processor, but people decide its not as it has a cleaner layout and more creative freedom built in.

Where to look for LOVs on a page

I am debugging an application that has 3 LOVs. I see these 3 LOVs on few pages but I don't see how it they show on those pages.
Where should I look to find out how these LOVs were linked to a page???

Alright, I see that page 0 will show on all pages conditionally.
