I am looking for the Apple Configurator for Windows that supports iOS7. I need to install a CA certificate on my iPhone and iPad. Does anyone know where I can find the utility, when it will be available? Are the other options to install a certificate?

I just noticed that the apple configurator app for MacOS was updated yesterday to add ios7 support, so hopefully the iPhone configuration utility for windows won't be too far behind.
On the other hand, I did just go through the existing profile I had from ipcu 3.62 and made a few changes, removing payload properties that weren't listed in the reference and also were not something obviously necessary. After that, it seems that the mobileconfig file will apply to an ios 7 device, so that might get me what I need for now.

My previous post was considered as "speculative" by the moderators (I still do not see what were the speculations but, OK, I let go)...
Therefore, I'll try to be still more factual:
_Fact 1_: current firmware of iPhone 3G does not support rSAP Bluetooth profile.
_Fact 2_: my car needs my phone to support rSAP Bluetooth profile for being able to use the built-in handsfree kit.
_Fact 3_: I cannot find anywhere an official statement from APPLE about this rSAP Bluetooth profile.
_My question_: can someone give me a link to such an official statement?
(I hope this will be considered as factual enough...

Looking for international Apple distributors

I am looking for the page on the apple website where it says and lists all the international Apple resellers/distributors. I can only find the US ones. I remember once reading a page where it had Egypt listed among other countries with the distributors/agent names.
Any clues???

Looking for the Apple DIY HDD Instruction (MBP2012 NR)

I remember from my last Macbook that there was a website on apple.com where you could download instructions on how to replace your hard drives and RAM.
There is a link on google which however only relates to the main support page. I know that upgrades are no longer possible for the retina and air models but my current macbook still has a regular SATA drive. There are instructions on ifixit, however I was still hoping to get an "official" document by apple.

Ok just checked a bit further... For the 2011 model they still provide a handbook where there is an instruction at page 40.

There are reasonable write-ups on malware (whether virus, worm, or trojan) here and here.
Most of what's been around recently are what are known as trojans. Those can be engineered for any platform, and they specifically target convincing a human to break local security on behalf of an attacker. Usually to install it and to grant it full privileges, on Mac OS X. There have been a very few cross-platform attacks around, as well; Javascript or Java or Flash based; these have been rare.
I'd ask for some elaboration around the goal of your question here, too. A tersely-worded question can sometimes be quite deceptively ambiguous to a reader, and I can infer a number of different potential goals for your question. These might be different details you might want to know, or specific concerns you might have. Simple questions just tend to be open to various interpretations, unfortunately, and often not interpretations that you intended.

Looking for Apple TV, I have none

I tried an Apple TV for a couple of days, and returned it.
Now when I try to play music on iMac, iTunes says it's searching for airplay devices and cannot find Apple TV. Would I like to use this computer instead?
How can I set up iTunes so it does not look for an Apple TV that doesn't exist?

If iTunes is still trying to connect to the Apple TV you returned, view the AirPlay menu in iTunes to make sure "Computer" has a check mark next to it:
Open iTunes.
Locate and click the icon to the left of the iTunes LCD window.

If the Apple TV still appears in this menu, try quitting and relaunching iTunes, and then restarting your Mac.

What to look for in external HD

I'm about to buy a new external hard drive. I've always looked for an apple logo when buying this sort of stuff, but seriously, it's a stupid hard drive. I need a USB 2 port and power. If it is formatted different than I want then I can change it. Time Machine will make a separate disc image anyways, so does a logo matter? Should I just look for something on super-duper-extra-laser sale? Yes, budget-brand drive and my MBP COULD crash at the same time? Am I forgetting anything?

I would pick an HD that you feel comfortable with. FYI, Apple outsources its HDD, so an Apple logo doesn't really mean much if you are looking for an HDD. Apple puts Maxtor and Western Digital HDDs in its iMacs and Hitachis in its 500GB Time Capsule. I don't know if there are any other makes Apple uses, but I hope you get my point. Just make sure that once you pick one out, check the partition scheme and formatting and re-partition and re-format. Many are formatted for PCs out of the box. If you need wireless Time Machine backups and in the market for an AirPort Extreme Base Station, check out the Time Capsule.

Hi.
I had a similar problem myself. This is what helped me.
I went to the App store app, scrolled to the bottom, logged out of the account, re logged in with my Apple ID. Then went back to app updates. Once I put in my ID password all was fine.
