Looking for older firmware

I contacted some other technical support, they suggested doing incremental firmware updates. (regarding my other post about error when trying to upgrade controller firmware). So the older ones first. Does anyone know where I can get some of the older versions?
I've looked all around the apple site, but I can't find anything before 1.5.0

I had seen your post about the coprocessor not updating and wondered if you had been able to figure out the problem. I'm trying to find something in this forum that may help me with updating the firmware on our RAIDs, but without success so far. Were you able to get your RAID's firmware fully upgraded and get it back online? If so, what did you do to solve the problems?
Unfortunately, I inherited a setup where a pair of Xserve RAIDs are connected via fibre channel to a Windows 2000 Professional (not even Server!) box. I can't seem to find a workable RAID admin tool that runs on the Windows box. I have a drive that needs replacing and found out which drive is bad, but want to upgrade the firmware from the installed 1.3 version before I swap in a new drive. I can communicate with the upper controllers on both raids using an ethernet connection to an iMac, but I can't talk to the lower controllers that are usually connected to the network. When I attempt to update the firmware using my connection to the upper controllers, absolutely nothing happens. I'm ready to tear my hair out...

RV082 Looking for older firmware

With the latest firmware 2.0.0.19-tm images don't seem to load.
For example if I search for images on google only half of the images show up. I need to refresh to see all the images.
If I go back to the previous firmware 1.3.6 this issue is resolved, but other problems appear. Mostly when streaming video from various streaming sites.
I cannot identify the exact hardware revision of the RV082 because I can't physically reach it. I hope this will be solved in the future, but now my hands are tied. The CPU in the RV082 is Intel IXP425-533
My guess is something changed in the 2.0.0.19 firmware that both fixes things and destroys other things.
I am looking for a firmware version which is older than 2.0.0.19 and more recent than 1.3.6, but I've have not been able to find it.
Could anyone point me to a download location?

? Please read my original post again. Maybe how I said it was confusing but that is exactly how I checked it... in VISTA. Exactly the way the link you gave me described.
You do understand the message I am getting says: *itunes.exe has been set to run in compatibility mode for older version of windows. For best results, turn off compatibility mode for itunes before you open it.* I am interpreting this to mean that compatibility is set for something OTHER then VISTA since it it saying "for and older version of Windows".
When you tell me to "Check the compatibility mode in Vista not iTunes" what the heck do you even mean? How do you check compatibility in iTunes?

My current firmware level is K1.04 L1.0 W1.1 but I'm encountering weird write commit kind of problems. Low level formatted the drive already and did a factory reset.

I still have upnp av error while I try to access the disk throught a media player connected on my TV, but the rest of the K108 firmware is totally functionnal on my drive.
I keep a backup of the firmware file, and I can upload it to everyone needed it, (specially if you can't download teh firmware from the link I post below)

Looking for old firmware

I'm using the WRT54GS v5, latest firmware (1.52) and it has a problem maintaining upload connections. This is particularly obvious when using torrents. It will send pieces for a brief amount of time but then randomly close the connection. DHT is enabled in the torrent client (so connecting to the tracker is not even necessary) but it drops the uploads regardless.
Anyway, since Cisco/Linksys doesn't allow you to use third party firmware anymore I'd like to downgrade to an old version of the regular firmware. Is this possible and where can I find the older firmware versions?

Yeah there's that convoluted workaround for third party firmwares but it's dangerous. You can't just go to the admin page and upload whatever you want like you could with the v1-4 routers.

Vector smart objects still looking for older version of Illustrator

When we try to open smart objects from withing Photoshop CC, they're looking for Illustrator CS6. On machines where Illustrator CS6 is uninstalled we get errors. All the file associations in Bridge are correctly set. Is there a way to change the file associations for smart objects?

Editing smart objectrs uses the system wide associations, not the ones from Bridge, so you need to adjust that for the *.ai file type.

I have recently inherited an older LabView program and the current (Rev 2.1) drivers for the HP662XA family won't link into the program. I suspect I need an older revision of the drivers. The newer drivers have more inputs than the code is expecting. Is there an archive where I can download some older drivers?

I believe the driver you're talking about is the IVI driver. There are also two traditional (older) instrument drivers.

If it is an Intel with 1GB of Ram you can buy SnowLeopard to upgrade the OS. If it has 2GB of Ram and a Core2Duo Intel, you can then buy Lion ( from within Snow ) to upgrade 10.6.x to 10.7.x from the MacAppStore ( part of SnowLeo's 10.6.6 free update ).
Xcode v4.1 itself is freely available ( from the MacAppStore) and you can make and freely distribute Mac OSX apps with it, but you can only install/test/submit ios-apps to Apples Appstore if you get a paid subscribtion with Apple.
Leopard is a dead OS for doing developing. ( and also in general soon , the ppc part of it is end of life ).

Looking for SSD Firmware

We have many HP SSD v300a solid-state 120gb hard drives. One of them is having some issues and I would like to try a firmware upgrade to see if it fixes it. According to the sticker on the drive, it is rev. 5.0.5.
I have not been able to find anything online that links to any instructions or firmware files. I have only found the product page on HP's site > http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/manualCategory?cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&lc=en&product=5395455&. It has no links available other than user guides.

Crucial. I've the 512GB Crucial m4 series SSD and firmware updates are a breeze - no need to use Windows to update the firmware. Since you've a 2010 model, you'll only get SATA II (3.0 Gbps) negotiated speed rate, but the drive will work at full SATA III (6.0 Gbps) speeds should you upgrade your Mac in the future.
Here's Crucial's 128GB SSD and here is their 256GB SSD. Only $100 difference between the two and I think that you'd be better served with a 256GB model (just my opinion). You may also want to try Amazon in order to save a few bucks on either capacity.

You can try to readjust the wireless settings on the router...
- Under Wireless tab,set the Radio Band to Standard-20MHz and change the Standard channel to 11-2.462GHz..
- Under Advance Wireless Settings,Change the Beacon Interval to 75,Fragmentation Threshold to 2304,RTS Threshold to 2304.
- Under Security tab,uncheck "Filter Anonymous Internet Requests"
- Under Setup tab,reduce the MTU to 1400.

[Solved] System fully up-to-date, apps look for old libs

Even though the system is fully updated from a fresh mirror, apps look for older libs: e.g. irssi and wget look for libssl.so.0.9.8, building wget with makepkg wants libgmp.so.3 (the latest is 10). ldd run on said apps returns the newer lib versions, e.g. "libssl.so.1.0.0 => /usr/lib/libssl.so.1.0.0". The newer libs are present in /usr/lib/. I've reinstalled the whole toolchain, problematic libs and apps. I've removed ld.so.cache and run ldconfig - it shows libssl.so.1.0.0, not libssl.0.9.8 too.
I have no idea why apps still want older libs. Any ideas will be appreciated.

managed to open the terminal app, and create a new profile. Went looking for older profile and ...nothing. there is NO firefox/mozilla folder in library/application support. I searched for "firefox" on the hd and didnt recognize anything that could/would be the profile folder. i did search my trash as well. help please :-(
