Looking for OLTP documentations

Dear All,
I would like to see usable (!) documentations on building ORACLE OLTP systems. (I would like to see real world examples, and not heroic poems!)

I just want to see the methods how experienced people find a way to eliminate speed / maintenance and other problems. This would include data modeling, changes made to the Oracle initialization parameters etc. I want to see how changes are done and why the particular approach was chosen.
I have built some OLTP systems so this field isn't new for me, but I want to see and learn new strategies.
I would be happy if you gave me brief introduction about your OLTP systems, how and why the data models were made and how did you solve problems during the operation.

I actually looked at my screen and saw the documentation link :-) So all downloaded now but I still can't find the documnetation I want. Specifically the learning guides. All the documents, and SAP help, are very straightforward guides. The learning series provides a more detailed overview into the functionality and a practical guide to the implementation.
The document ' SAP NetWeaver Process Orchestration, business to business add-on 1.0 SP00 How to Proceed Guide' contains a reference to the documents I require at the back on Page 9. Yet they are knowwere to be found. Even in the Process Orchestration Resource Center: SAP B2B Add-on Wiki has some documents, but nothing that I actually need.
I think the only thing I can do is raise a customer message. Its so frustrating.

Steps are as follows :
1. Goto the transaction EEWC for setting the system type as development system. This has to be done before you carry out the enhancement.
2. Goto the tcode EEWB and create a project.
3. Create an enhancement under the project.
4. Right click on the enhancement and say start wizard.
5. Wizard will ask you to for the enhancement title, then it will ask you for the object type that you want to enhance.
6. Specify the fields that you want to add to the standard table.
7. Say finish.
EEWB will generate a screen for you and relevant structures automatically. You can write the validations in the screen as you do for the normal screen

While the popular trend is toward online video clips, try searching for used copies of Trish and Chris Meyer's books. Be sure they come with the DVDs. These books will go out of date. The version of AE you will be using will change but the fundamentals and basic concepts required to master the crafts of motion graphics and animation are constant, have been for almost one hundred years.
AE is a just a tool and it's really complicated. Not just hard, really, really hard. But to do good work you've got to understand why stuff works the way it does and what audiences expect.

you stated it correctly that the calendar shows up in case of a keydate and in case of a single value but not in case of a range.
in addition the underlying characteristic needs to be type DATS

Hey Guys,
Do anyone know whether PeopleSoft provide documentation for the Delivered App Packages.
I'm expecting something like Java documentation, we get complete documentation like complete list of classes, respective methods, properties, and relation with other classes and packages.
It would be really helpful, if there is any documentation something similar for PeopleSoft Delivered Packages too.

We have to setup the CSM for the load balancing as we are not able to use DNS load balanbing method. Or we have done so, but we need to very if things are correct.

There is so much documentation about ADF but most is about using and not how it works.
I'm looking for documentation about the lifecycle in general
Which methods get called from startup to program exit etc.
I looked at the JDev Documentation but I cant find any documents which describe this.

Looking for an Introduction documentation for SOLARIS administration

I'm beginner in SOLARIS environment. I�m looking for an overview documentation for SOLARIS administration as like as IBM AIX Redbooks. For example, the "Certification Study Guide" for IBM pSeries is an excellent introduction to AIX environment (485 pages in pdf format). I'm looking for something like that. Do you have an idea?

well I have to write a concept in which i would like to point out the obligatory fields of the single Segments of a DELVRY01 e.g.
Therefore i am looking for some kind of document, where alle fields are listed in a table and the one needed are marked. In WE60 is only the possibility to export in html, but i want a table for importing it into the blueprint.
Can somebody help me - I googled this but nothing appropriate found!

Difference between " COMPRESS FOR ALL OPERATIONS" and "COMPRESS FOR OLTP"?

I was looking through Oracle's OLTP Table Compression (11g onwards) documentation as well as online resources to find the syntax and came across two different versions:
COMPRESS FOR ALL OPERATIONS
and
COMPRESS FOR OLTP
The documentation I looked through didn't mention any alternative syntax, so i was wondering if anyone here might know the difference.

Table Compression Enhancements in Oracle Database 11G Rel1 as as follows:
The compression clause can be specified at the tablespace, table or partition level with the following options:
•NOCOMPRESS - The table or partition is not compressed. This is the default action when no compression clause is specified.
•COMPRESS - This option is considered suitable for data warehouse systems. Compression is enabled on the table or partition during direct-path inserts only.
•COMPRESS FOR DIRECT_LOAD OPERATIONS - This option has the same affect as the simple COMPRESS keyword.
•COMPRESS FOR ALL OPERATIONS - This option is considered suitable for OLTP systems. As the name implies, this option enables compression for all operations, including regular DML statements. This option requires the COMPATIBLE initialization parameter to be set to 11.1.0 or higher.
