I would like to know when the recipiant reads sent mail.

Note that whether or not you will receive such a receipt depends entirely on the email application used by the recipient. Unlike proprietary message systems such as Microsoft Exchange, Internet email does not mandate that a client support return-receipt, so many email applications do not, and those that do often don't have it turned on.
So while you can set Mail to issue a return-receipt request, it's highly probable that you will not get such a receipt back even if the recipient of the message has indeed opened it. Hence it's rarely worth the bother. It's just as effective in most cases to just ask that the recipient reply to let you know he/she has received the message.

It is possible, though not through the GUI. And as Dave points out, asking for a receipt does not mean that you will get one. The magic incantations for requesting receipts are detailed, amongst other places, in this article. It requires using the Terminal, and once set affects all messages you send until you unset it again.
If you search this forum for read receipts (the topic surfaces frequently) you should find a helpful Applescript for turning them on and off, to save using the terminal.

Is it actuall called Readme First ? and is it based on a SAN/OS release? Is it the Quick Start Guide like the one here?

You mean the one with the green icon with a white chat bubble? If so, that is the messaging app for SMS or MMS. It doesn't exist on the iPad as the iPad is not a phone and therefore does not have SMS/MMS capability (though there are apps you can use to fake it).

Quick Look file reading problems in mail.

Are there certain files that quick look will not open in mail?
I have sent myself pdf's, which opened ok, but a photo file, .jpg would not.

When I visit any sites, the fonts on my browser turns bold. Even when in my e-mail accounts (yahoo, gmail), my read and unread mails/messages are both in bold. Why? What Should I do?

Such an error can indicate a problem with a missing or corrupted font.

Looking for Email Confirmation solution for a Stationary Printer. Is LiveCycle for me?

Hi there, we are printers and wanted to know if LiveCycle was the right thing for us.
Basically we would like to be able to email a pdf document to a client which includes a few fields for them to fill in and a tick box for them to tick.
We would also like to insert a copy of our artwork in the pdf document or attached to it.
Can anyone point us into the right direction?
Also are there any tutorials online that show us how this can be done? Just want to see how easy/hard it would be to do this.

You could use LiveCycle Designer to build the fillable form. You can embed images in the form or add them as attachments. Lastly you could make use of the mail client on the machine that the form is being viewed to email the form where it needs to go.
You can get Designer when you buy Acrobat.

Looking for an application that works like windows photo gallery?

I switched to Mac and love it except for photos.
I basicly upload a batch of photos to a folder named temp, then tag each photo and drag them to their appropriate folders an eventually delete said folder, is there any application that works like this? Minus iPhoto,picasa,lightroom or adobe bridge?

I presume you mean the Event "stays" there.
Like iTunes, iPhoto is a database that works on a Library principle. All items are in the Library, each playlist is a subset of the Library.
So in iPhoto, all Photos are in the Library and each Album is a subset of the Library.
Events are just a view of the Library, broken by the date and time the pics were taken. Don't want to see them? Click on the Photos heading for a view of the Library as a single unit, not broken into Events.
And I have to import the Photis everytime, why cAnt I add photos to pictures directory and iPhoto will see them?
Because you might not want everything in your Pictures Folder in iPhoto.
But seriously: How much more difficult is it to drag the photos to
the iPhoto icon in the Dock
or
the iPhoto Window
or
use the File -> Import command
than to drag the photos to the Pictures Folder?

Looking for a good wallet case like Sena Walletskin

Hi all, I realize this is a support forum, but I hope this question won't be too out of place here
I previously used an iPhone, and loved my Sena Walletskin (http://goo.gl/udgMph) case because it allowed me to carry just my phone (no extra wallet or money clip) but I also didn't need to open it to use my phone. All the wallet cases I've found so far for the Z1 actually close over the screen, so I have to open them to use the phone or take photgraphs. I've contacted Sena directly, but they don't plan on making cases for Sony phones anytime soon.
So can anyone suggest an alternative case? Another wrinkle, it would need to be from a web store that will ship outside the US.

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any similar case to Xperia Z1 and have not seen one either. I suggest that you check with local retailers to see what they have in stock or different web shops.
