Sorry for the confusion, I do recall there is a small booklet that comes with the MDS.
Is it actuall called Readme First ? and is it based on a SAN/OS release? Is it the Quick Start Guide like the one here?

Good question - and one that a lot of (business) people would like solved!
Your question prompted me to do some research, and I found this workaround posted by Scott Grossberg:
His solution actually addresses a second problem too - how to attach a document when replying to an email message. In your case you may not need to consider the "reply" aspect - but if not right now, it'll come in useful someday!
I've pasted it verbatim - if it works for you (it does for me) then all credit goes to Scott for solving the problem. There's just one thing I'd add to his solution: you will probably want to rename the message, as by default Goodreader gives it the Subject line: Mail with GoodReader attachments.
    THE GOODREADER OPTION
    1.  CREATE the document you want to send.
    2.  SAVE it to GoodReader (this will require you to buy and install the app).
    3.  Go to your email and OPEN the email thread to which you want to Reply and attach your file.
    4.  COMPOSE your Reply.
    5.  DOUBLE TAP the message.
    6.  TAP SELECT ALL. This will copy the entire email thread.
    7.  OPEN GOODREADER on the iPad and go to the file you want to send as part of your Reply.
    8.  At the bottom of the GoodReader screen you will see an EXPORT icon (it looks like a rectangle with an arrow pointing to the right).
    9.  TAP the Export button.
    10.  TAP EMAIL FILE. Depending on your needs, tap either SEND FILE “AS IS” or “FLATTEN ANNOTATIONS.” This will open a compose message screen with the chosen document already attached.
    11.  TAP in the body of the email screen. TAP PASTE. This will place your composed Reply and the prior email thread into the message.
    12.  ENTER the Recipients’ names in the TO: field of your message.
    13.  SEND your email Reply.
The modified version (= when composing a new message rather than a reply):
1 Make sure that the doc you want to attach is saved in GoodReader
2 In the message you are composing, double tap, select all, and then copy.
3 Open GoodReader and select the file you want to attach
4 Select the export button at the bottom of screen
    5 Select e-mail file
6 Position cursor in body of the email message, tap and paste. You may want to delete the "sent from GoodReader" text that precedes the attachment.
7 Rename your message (as by default it will be Mail with GoodReader attachments)
8 Add the recipient's address in the To field.
Hope this helps! All thanks to Scott for this workaround.

  • Looking for a special makepkg document

Last night I was browsing a document in the Wiki that demonstrated configuring a package for makepkg, using a particular application as an example. I was tired, so decided I'd read it over the next day (today). Well, I can't seem to find it anymore. I've looked over all the docs in the Packages and Makepkg section of the Wiki, and none of them are the one I'm looking for. Anyone know what document I'm talking about, and where I might find it? It really seemed quite informative.

Well, it was similar to the last one you cited, but it used a real application (I forget its name), not foo.

  • Looking for a Third Party document editor

I am running a Palm IIIxe with Palm OS 3.5 on a Vista 32 bit laptop with Palm Desktop 7.2 with HOTSYNCSTETUP patch.
I am looking for a document editor that I can use so that I can create text documents and import them into my wordprocessor after sync.
Could someone help me with this before the summer semester starts in June.

    Post relates to: Palm IIIxe

I'm not sure if they made a version for the Palm IIIxe but you can look into Docs to Go. If that is not compatible or does not work browse around www.freewarepalm.com for a bit and you might find what you need.
I hope this information is useful.

  • Looking For 9i - 10G Differences Document

Does anyone know of a good document that spells out the differences/changes between Oracle 9I to Oracle 10G when upgrading ?
Anything I need to be concerned about within my databases such as data types or column lengths ??
I already have the "New Features" document
    Thanks
    Jim

The new features (if you refer to the one found at the regular oracle documentation site) is ok to understand the differences between versions, but it is not thoroughful, it just points out the new features found on 10g, if you want to detail some of them that may be of interest to you you should look for the specific topic on the concepts, and administration manuals.
For upgrade purposes you should address to the upgrade guide and get familiar with the issues during this upgrade process.
    Ref. Oracle® Database Upgrade Guide
    10g Release 2 (10.2)
    Part Number B14238-01
I don't understand what you mean by 'data types or column lengths', may be you mean the Datatype Limits.

  • Looking for BODS Best Practice document

    Hi,
Can anyone pls. share BODS best practice document in case you have any. I tried to find out from net and i couldn't.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Gannu.N

Ok you need some spoon feeding it seems. You should have checked the correct answer from the post and searched the key word "SAP Best Practices for Data Migration and Data Quality" in google.
Here's the link SAP Best Practices for Data Migration and Data Quality – SAP Help Portal Page
Also as a heads up, there won't be any single document which gives all the details you need. You need to narrow down your search and focus on the required material only.

  • Notification for reading a KM document

    Hi experts.
My customer asked, if there is a possibilty to check which users have read a document in a KM folder. He has some kind of "outlook - read - notification" in mind.
Does anybody know, if the access to the KM documents is traced this way? Can I collected the data somewhere. In this case we can implement a WebDynpro App for showing the content of the logfiles ....
I read the articles about the ADS but it seems that this tool isn't made for that purpose.
    Propositions are very welcome.
    Thanks in advance
    Jürgen

    Hi Juergen,
Here are some options that came to my mind:
    1. If you have some sort of logging or tracing enabled you could monitor the logs to find direct URL requests for the file in question. But this would be overkill to implement if you are not already monitorinig to that level of detail.
    2. You might be able to implement a KM repository filter that would allow you to record that a particular user has downloaded/requested the document from the server. See the section on content filters in the following [documentation|http://help.sap.com/javadocs/nw04/current/km/com/sapportals/wcm/repository/filter/package-summary.html].
I hope this gives you some ideas and gets you a solution that works.
    BRgds,
    Simon

  • Looking for Reader 9 mui...

I've searched high and low for it... it is mentionned in a lot of Adobe's docs but where can we download the multilingual Adobe Reader 9 installer?
I need to be able to switch from french to english and vice-versa on the fly
    Thanks in advance

if you go to this page http://wwwaws.adobe.com/products/reader/faq/
    The last question is
    What is Adobe Reader MUI?
Adobe Reader MUI is Adobe's Multilingual User Interface version. This product is capable of installing any combination of supported languages. So, for example, you can install French, German, and Spanish simultaneously and then have the capability to switch among those languages within Adobe Reader. The user interface changes to the appropriate language on the fly.
However, I cannot find the file and the MSI is either french or english but not both simultaneously

  • Looking for some imput ( first time buyer)

I have a friend who just upgraded to a new macbook pro and had as older white one he bought in april of 07 everything looks great no cracks in the casem screen looks brand new still no dead spots or anything, and he even said he will take it to the apple store and have them check it out for me? so my question is would 600 be a fair price or is that to high?

does it have any upgrades, fresh battery, software, etc? for just the mac & no upgrades or original disks, I'd say that's a little high. if it's full of ram, comes with a newer version of os x or has a fairly new battery, then 600 is top dollar. 500 would be plenty if it's stock & comes with the original software media.
I sold a black one for 550 last year. same age, had applecare still. I could have gotten 650 out of that one then but went to someone I knew, was sort of returning a favor (he helped me moved, so I cut 100 off.).

  • Looking for read confirmation of mail like in outlook?

I would like to know when the recipiant reads sent mail.

Note that whether or not you will receive such a receipt depends entirely on the email application used by the recipient. Unlike proprietary message systems such as Microsoft Exchange, Internet email does not mandate that a client support return-receipt, so many email applications do not, and those that do often don't have it turned on.
So while you can set Mail to issue a return-receipt request, it's highly probable that you will not get such a receipt back even if the recipient of the message has indeed opened it. Hence it's rarely worth the bother. It's just as effective in most cases to just ask that the recipient reply to let you know he/she has received the message.
    Regards.

  • Looking for read-only remote viewer app

Does anyone know of a remote viewer app which allows you to see a computer screen (XP, Windows 7) on the iPad but does not allow interaction with the PC, i.e. a read-only remote viewer?

The brand name alone doesn't help at all. Specific model numbers are required. Not all models of devices even support third-party remotes. As the iPad doesn't have IR, remotes need to work over WiFi on a local network, so if your device doesn't have WiFi, it isn't going to be controllable by an iPad.

I think the feature is called Voice Over, and I think it's now compatible with Reader:
