Looking for a way to access iPod Library via Front Row

I am looking for a way to browse my iPod library in Front while my iPod is connected to my computer.
Does anyone know the trick?

All of my music is backed up on an external hard drive connected by FireWire to my desktop PC. I have enabled Share Music so that when I open iTunes on my iMac, I am able to access all the music on my external hard drive wirelessly. If I highlight the shared music in the Source column and then turn on Front Row, I have access to all the music on my external hard drive (wirelessly) through the remote control. I would imagine that since the iPod appears in the Source column when it's properly docked, you should have access to it through Front Row.

You would indeed need a plug-in to actually select and highlight but you can easily call attention to a part by temporarily changing the color via JavaScript which you can access from external applications.
I can provide more specific advice if you explain the exact user interaction you're looking for. Is this a desktop application? Is the PDF in a browser? etc.

I've been working on a project which is dubstep based and was wondering if there was anyone out there who is knowledgeable in this genre?

It may be because I'm getting to be an old geezer, but I'm not entirely sure what the exact definition of 'Dubstep' is, to be honest - there have been so many variations of music that have been created using sequencer software in some way or another and some people keep imagining that they've created a whole new genre of music, so they give it a name, you know..

HT1339 I was looking for info on restoring an iPod Touch 4th Gen. But iTunes presents the same Restore button, which when pressed, offers to update, not restore, to iOS 6.0.1. Why?

I found this article when searching for info on restoring (to factory conditions) an iPod Touch 4th Generation. Now I thought this shipped with iOS 5.x (x unknown). But as mentioned too briefly in the header, when I click 'Restore' in iTunes, it offers not to restore, but to update. That is not what I want. I need to use this iPod Touch with Xcode 4.2 under Snow Leopard.
So the question is: what is really going on here and why? Is it really true that 4th G iPod Touches ship with 6.0.1 instead of 5.x? If not, how can I get it to really go back to the original? Why is iTunes failing to offer a restore when I press 'Restore'? If I guessed wrong about which of my several machines running iTunes (some under Windows7, one under Snow Leopard)I used when I upgraded to iOS 6.0.1, would that explain iTune's failure to offer a true Restore?

Restore will not replace an old iOS level. It will update the iOS level to the latest level. If you have to restore youre iPod that is what will happen. The iOS is not a part of a backup.

Q. for those who hit their iPod to make it work again

I gave it a good pimp slap to the back and got it working again and I am glad about that. However, I am concerned that the problem will come back.
My question is...
How long has your iPod been functioning since you hit it and if it stopped working how much longer did it last for?
How many times have you hit it again to get it working again?
What causes the HDD to get stuck time and time again?
Is there a more permanent fix that us customers can perform?

ITunes 5 looks for movie data when updating iPod...

I'm experiencing a very annoying problem in iTunes 5. When I plug in my iPod (4G) the songs are updated as they should, but then a message pops up saying something like this:
"Searching for movie data in movie archive "the name of the archive"
Then it says:
"The archive couldn't be found. Movie can't be played without the right archive"
And then you'll have to click "search" or "cancel". That is very annoying.
Why is iTunes suddenly searching for movies to play, when I'm updating my iPod?
How can I make it stop?

I don't get the male/female distinction frankly. To me it's just a quetion of what your style is, what material you'd prefer and whether you are after a case or a skin and waht you're going to be doing with the iPod - working out, being outside in the rain and so on.
I have just bought a Vaja (vajacases.com) - as a Christmas gift from my parents and I'm really happy to have done so. Don't have it yet, but I'm sure it wont disappoint and at 50 pounds UK for everything incl p & p I don't even think it is that xpensive. Check the site out and you'll see that you can choose from quite a large range of colours.
They're not as cheap as some, but that's the way I went 'cos it fits my needs.
