Looking for Screen Protector for A5500-H / A8-50

I'm looking for a good but reasonably priced screen protector for my Mum's new A5500-H. I know there's loads of cheap ones on e-bay but I've tried them for other devices before and found they don't apply very well or have a nasty rough surface that your finger sticks to, making the device unpleasant to use. I've got the model with two speakers, so need cutouts for them at each end. Generally I think the Matte protectors are better as they cut down on reflections, even if they do make the screen a bit less clear/sharp.
I really want a pack of at least two, in case I mess up applying the first one or just as a spare for future. This one's cheap enough to buy two but I've not come across kwmobile before, so they might not be any better than the e-bay ones.

This on the other hand is quite expensive at £11.69 for two but I think I at least recognise the brand, although there's only one review so not enough information to know if they're actually any good
http://www.amazon.co.uk/atFoliX-Screen-Protection-Lenovo-IdeaTab/dp/B00JKOWAUA/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qi...
I was hoping to find something decent around £4 or £8 for two.
Xtremeguard I think are OK and this seems like a good price for three but coming from the US I'll have no recourse if it turns out to be rubbish as it will cost more to send it back than it's worth
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-Pack-Clear-HD-XtremeGuard-HI-DEF-Screen-Protector-Cover-For-Lenovo-A8-50...
The fact that they're selling this single one for more than that pack of 3, makes me concerned that the latter might not be very good
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-XtremeGuard-LCD-Screen-Protector-For-Lenovo-A8-50-A5500-Anti-Scrat...
Perhaps there's a decent but reasonably cheap option for a different 8" device that I could cut down so that it just covers the actual screen area?

Hmm, I notice that the cheaper Xtremeguard 3-pack says they have a "slightly grippy feel" which sounds like the nasty ones I've used before on other devices. The more expensive Xtremeguard single protector has to be applied with water, which I don't fancy either, so I'm still looking for suggestions.

  • Recommendations for Screen Protectors for the Vision

I'm in the process of buying another one, but the first two I received from one retailer had horrifically scratched screens.
So I want a screen protector. Any recommendations? I've been to the boxwave site and the invisishield site.
I don't think Creative's screen protectors are available currently.

for a total of 7 bucks including shipping you can get something called the best skin ever its the same material that invisble shield uses for a cheaper price. and its only 5$ plus 2 dollar shipping.

  • Best screen protector for iPhone 5?

I need a good screen protector that protects against drops and scratches, since I recently got a new phone case which does not do good in protecting my phone, it's just for the looks. Any suggestions?

The iSmooth Screen Protecto work great!
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0098ACVH8
    -Pros:
perfect material (no glare, doesnt inhibit brightness, feels like bare screen)
doesnt smudge easy, easy to clean.
best value for the money, you get plenty of chances to mess up
the Seller (smooth global) was absolutely amazing, they've sent multiple free packages and did everything they could to make sure i was satisfied.
    -Cons:
difficult to apply (they are cut nearly perfectly to screen so alignment is crucial)
like any other screen protector, they catch dust easily during application
    Overall:
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for screen protectors.
Be sure to do business with Smooth Global whenever possible, they are great.
    Application tips:
    1. Take your time
    2. make sure screen is free of dust
    3. do in a room with little air movement
    4. practice aligning protector before you remove the sticker

  • Will i need a case or screen protector for iphone 5

will i need a case or screen protector for iphone 5? heard the glass is tougher, but still concerned about scratches.

I think you probably should ask if others ever felt they needed them. I can tell you from my experience that applying a screen protector never worked out for me and I always took them off shortly after applying (bubbles / dust enclosed). But then a former colleague had his applied in an Apple Store and that looked perfect. Fortunately I never had a scratch in a screen as I always took good care (and my iPhones always had a pocket in my trowsers to themselves and didn't need to share it with keys or other scratchy objects ...).
The case is a completely different story: I think every phone I had so far managed at least once to slide out of my pockets (don't laugh!) while being on a loo and hit the floor from low hight. Due to the covers I had, the phone looked as new as before, just the cases had a slight scratch if at all. Therefore a case would be highly recommended esp as it can safe you iPhone if you drop it from higher hight.
Reading the first hands-on reviews it appears that the new iPhone 5 is built with materials that are less prone to scratch or crack but my first purchase next Friday will be a case. Not sure if bumper or full case but a case nevertheless.

  • What is the best privacy screen protector for the MacBook Air?

I am looking for a privacy screen protector for my 13" MacBook Air that will interfere the least amount possible with image clarity and such. I work in a busy university medical center as an intern (so sadly I do not have my own office) and would like to be able to use my MacBook while sitting somewhat close to other people. Privacy is an issue because the information I deal with is protected by HIPAA and FERPA. What are the best privacy screen protectors out there, as far as quality and performance go?

Best there is, is the 3M privacy screen

3M has the entire marked cornered in quality exotic plastic films and screens.

  • Screen protector for Pavilion x360

I'm looking to get a screen protector for my new Pavilion x360. Since they are relatively new, there aren't many options. But those things tend to be interchangeable with other similar products. I'm wondering if the screen is the same size as any of the other, more established, HP tablets or notebooks?

This is not an HP company, but here is someone offering a protector for that PC:

  • Should I get a screen protector for my iPad or better buy a sleeve?

I already have a belkin case for my iPad ( which is way better compared to the apple case I returned mine and got the belkin instead)
Now I'm planning on buying a screen protector for my iPad Or a sleeve for traveling... Is it worth the buy to get an iPad screen protector? Or should I wait and look for more option when choosing a screen protector ?

Don't waste the money on a screen protector. Greasy fingers are easy to clean with a dry lint-free cloth since the screen is oleophobic or resistant to oil. You might actually have a worse experience with the screen protector. The glass is almost resistant to scratching. If my iPhone experience is anything, I've throw it into my pocket with keys, and I have no scratches on the screen.
Get the sleeve. I like the Apple version, because I can prop it up on my desk, and it does protect the screen when you're not using it.

  • Best screen protectors for iPhone4?

I am looking for the best screen protector for my phone. I don't want to scratch the beautiful glass screen and I tend to be clumsy. Right now, I have a Zagg invisible shield, but the corners always peel! Please help me with suggestions

    Phone Devil Magic Screen Protector
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VPT5U2
I have used a number of screen protectors and this is one of the best ones so far (from the 20 in a pack for 0.99 cents to the military/space grade ones). The anti-glare feature doesn't get any better than this. The other product that looks good too is the Power Support screen protector. However, the PhoneDevil/MediaDevil are a better bargain. I have the Power Support anti-glare on my iPad and the PhoneDevil/MediaDevil on my iPhone. After installing both I ordered another pack of the PhoneDevil/MediaDevil for my wife's iPhone and for 2 other iPads that we have. I use my iPhone/iPad to process credit cards and customers have to sign on them. It is nice to hand them the gadget without tons of finger prints on the screen. It is also easier for them to see outdoors.
As with any screen protector, the key is to ensure the screen is clean. I recommend that these are installed in the bathroom. Let the hot shower run for a bit so the bathroom steams up. Once the steam has cleared, clean the screen as noted in the instructions. Don't be in a rush. Take your time. Also, use the card provided to remove any bubbles.

I've bought from them several times for various cell phones and my new Blackberry. They sell them in sets of 3 for about $6.50 for the set. You can also look on ebay for these things.
Good luck and if anybody orders from here, please post so others will know the results.
I'm having trouble looking for them on ebay. I don't what to search for. I kept typing in anti-glare protectors for mp3 players, but there no results.

  • Should I use a screen protector for an iPhone 6 Plus?

I just bought an iPhone 6 Plus and can't decide if I want/need a screen protector on it. I take great care of my phones and do not set it carelessly down on any surface.

    Yes.
We were going without for the first time, and after only 2 weekes,  my wife just showed me a hairline scratch on hers.  She says it could not possibly have happened, but it did.
I just ordered screen protectors for both of ours.

  • Do you need a screen protector for iphone4s

Do you need a screen protector for iphone 4s ?

It depends on how you handle and use the phone.  If you put it in a pocket or bag with loose change, keys, grit, etc, the oleophobic coating will likely scratch and sometimes the glass will scratch as well.

  • Screen Protector for the TM2

Anyone know of a good screen protector for the TM2 that doesn hinder the touch screen? I have done a search but nothing comes up. Maybe its just too new for now.
    Will a TX2 screen protector fit? I don't have a TX2 so I can't compare the screen sizes.
    Thanks

I am using the Photodon protector for the TX2. It's honestly a bit small. They will cut them to size. I found videos online and apparently the Photodon interfered the least as far as glare reducing screen protectors go. It does reduce the touch sensitivity some, but I've noticed very little difference after initial adjustment. I like to take my college assignments and reading to the park with the kids and the nice mirror screen does not do well for that, so I went for the glare reducing despite the bit of fuzziness that results. The display works quite nice in spite of it. The inking, which I thought was excellent before the protector, is actually even better. I think the minute amount of texture actually enhances pen action. My two cents. I'm ordering another custom fit to size presuming my replacement machine performs better than my initial. I'm having a ton of post errors. I think it's bios, honestly, but HP offered me a deal I'm having a hard time refusing...still very torn. I ordered this to my specs with nearly every upgrade included. The replacement would not have my fingerprint reader and I've been trying to go without it to determine whether I can live without it. Frankly, in tablet mode, it's a godsend, although it is not nearly as functional as my old Toshiba laptop's was...It would register far more websites and programs than the one included with the tm2...still, logging on from sleep in slate is miserable without it! I tried an app that lets you sign your name instead, but it doesn't seem to like Win 7 64 no matter what I do, including unpacking the MSI and manually placing files in folders.
Sorry, got off topic...but give Photodon a try.
