You've seen a web site were the flash expands with an option to close. Doe's anybody know where I can learn that script?

I have just found the Script Library panel in FM 10. (Always used InDesign before.)
I'm up to replace a text string and two master pages in 100+ documents. Tried to google for some nice solutions to make this automatically but cannot find any scripts/macros to FM at all.
Do you have som tip where to find such scripts/macros?
To facilitate my work I also look for a batch script that automatically updates the image pathes in each framemaker file (image folder has been renamed).
And at a last FrameMaker -> PDF Batch converter.

Import from Document [MPsourcefilename.fm]
[Deselect All]
[*] Page Layouts
[Import]

I downloads the latest iTunes software update and it properly installed. But, I cannot close the window showing it was completed and the blue completion bar is full but cannot cancel or close it either. Any ideas on how to clear that out and close the

Tried to quit on both the big window and the software update title in the menu bar. No luck.

Tried that by shutting down via the power button only as the normal shutdown was nixed by the open window issue. It did not help. Found a very similar question in the discussions and it recommended "Force Quit". That worked and the update works normal and the window is gone. Thanks!

With Adobe Flash, the image is looking for a "zoom" setting and does not find it. The result is that the imbedded image is too large for the space allowed. Is there a zoom setting for Firefox?

When running FB game apps, the image loaded is too large for the FB space. The program looks for a "zoom" setting and does not find it. This was from the error screen. I have not been able to locate where the image zoom is located (found the font adjustment). I am new to FireFox and would like to sort this out please.
Your installed plug in assume Shockwave Flash 10.3, but I thought it was Adobe Flash 10.3. Are they one and the same?

My area of interest is in business and economic history. There is a considerable amount of reading and charting. Until the iPad hit the streets, I only considered stacks of books, journals, and downloaded documents, all marked up with highlighters, underlines, and marginal notes.
Most of my PC based work involved MS Office, Endnote, and MS OneNote.
What I would like to do with the iPad and MacBook are the same things (Office, Endnote, OneNote) and add the ability to read and markup all forms of printed materials from books to pdf to webpages.
I cut my teeth on an iPod Touch and have tried a lot of the note taking and reading apps. Without a camera the standard iPod Notes works for short quick notes and long think pieces. I just emailed the content and downloaded the stuff to my PC. Obviously, I do not want to continue at this "non-integrated" level of work.

2. One single document with sheets for the time sheets and then a folder of sheets for invoices for each month, which update dynamically using SUMIF functions when the relevant data is present in the time sheets. An applescript could then do batch exporting of all time sheets for a given month. This would entail building a table or populating a table using something like the method you described in your answer to this question:
(a) I apologize but I'm unable to make the difference between the word "sheet" used to name a true sheet and the same word used to name a table.
(b) there is no way to exchange datas between a document and a "folder of sheets" without a script.
As a Numbers document may embed a huge number of sheets able to embed a huge number of tables I guess that you may achieve your goal with a single document.
The idea is :
sheet 1 contains the table(s) with the main datas.
sheet 2 contain tables building the invoices for a given month
sheet 3 contain tables building the invoices for a given month
In each sheet starting from sheet 2, insert a single cell table whose content is the date of the first day of the dedicated month.
It's the contents of this cell which will be used to extract the relevant infos from the main datas.
Advantages : a single document behaving on its own.
Disadvantages : huge document which may behave slowly.
I can't choose for you and I must add that the slow behavior may become a sad remembrance the day we will get the next major iWork update.

Looking for catalog production people who have already found a solution to this problem.
We have a content management system that serves as our data warehouse for our catalog and product information. This data includes information from Marketing, Accounting, and Engineering and is used with our on line catalog and data extracts for customers. Our goal is to extend the use of this system to include an interface to the printed catalog process.
Immediate goal would be to provide keyed access by product key into InDesign for pricing and technical specifications. Design staff needs to have keyed access to additional catalog information used in the catalog sections, headings, and product descriptions including bullets and paragraph information.
We are looking for software that can act as a "bridge" between InDesign and our CMS. We need a software company that can provide training and support for the InDesign users and documentation allowing IT to support new processes including the possible use of apple scripting and automator scripts.
Our IT staff has the database skills to manage and change the CMS database as needed by this project including custom tables and views. Our CMS is available using a MySql server running on Lunix. This is a dynamic copy of our primary CMS from a DB2/400 server.
We have looked at a variety of software packages, but I have found you learn so much more when you actually USE the software. I would like to avoid any more expensive dead ends.

Expandable lists that expand and collapse with one click and edit in wysiwyg

I have a lot of text based lists on one page, so I threw them into content editor web parts so i can expand / minimize the lists. However, two clicks (one on the arrow and then one on "restore") is becoming really tiresome. How can I make expandable
lists that expand and collapse with one click? AND they are still editable from the wysiwyg browser editing tool?
I have already tried using Jquery to create expandable content, but the problem here is that the content can't be edited in the wysiwyg browser based editor - the expand or collapse button doesn't "work" when you are in the edit mode, so you can never
see the expandable content to edit. I can change the content in the code but it's no good if my non-coder co-workers can't also edit it.
I am in 2010.

Worked perfectly. Allows open and close of CEWP with one click, and you can still edit their content in the wysiwyg editor.

Is there a keyboard shortcut in OS 10.6 for "open folder window" and "close folder window"? I have a hand condition at the moment that makes it painful to mouse the cursor over to the arrow and click it (for instance, in the sidebars for Finder or iTunes) to open or close a folder. Windows or Mac? You can at least send iMessages from a Mac with Mountain Lion installed.
There are apps that let you do the reverse (control the computer from the phone). I don't know of any that let you go the other way. It would be kind of cool if we could do this though. But, I suppose it could open up a Pandora's box of security problems for the phone itself. Just imagine somebody hacking into your phone remotely and using it without your permission....

Typically the way most SAP systems are configured, there are two scenarios here:
1. The component reserved in the PM order is item category 'N'. This is a non inventory item and must be directly procured for consumption against the PM order at the point of goods receipt. In this case no reservation is created and instead a requisition is directly created (in table EBAN) and the requisition is account assigned directly to the PM order (in table EBKN - field AUFNR).
2. The component reserved in the PM order is item category 'L'. In this case no requisition is directly created, instead a reservation is created against the item in stock (in table RESB). If there is sufficient stock of the item already then the item is consumed when it is goods issued to the PM order from stock using MIGO and there is no requisition created. In the event that there is not sufficient stock of the item for the reservations that exist, when MRP is run, a requisition will be created to replenish the stock, but this requisition will not be assigned to a specific PM order as it could be replenishing stock of the item for several reservations which are all for different orders. So in this scenario there is no direct link from the reservation generated by the PM order to the requisition.

Script to expand and/or collapse Layers?

Hi all,
I've seen a very little bit of this topic in the forums but with no real resolution it seems? Like many others, whenever I open a file, Layers are randomly expanded in the Layers palette, very frustrating and time consuming to deal with.
Is there a way to run a script that collapses and/or expands all layers?

yeah, that's what happen when someone else "helps" you..if auto-expanding is driving you crazy try avoiding sublayers and if not possible...try maybe using groups instead of sublayers (to keep things organized), but it will be harder to tell them appart in the Layers panel, those are the only options I can think of
