Looking for Table to CSS Converter

I'm asking the Dreamweaver Community for HELP...
I currently own CS3 of Dreamweaver and while there are some
ways to convert tables to a css format manually.
Is anyone using a software or a work-a-round to automate this
process of converting TABLES to CSS automatically.
For example i have DOZENS OF HTML pages that are loaded with
Nested Tables... and all i want to do is run that HTML page through
a TABLE to CSS converter.
And then that’s it... you're done!... no tedious copy
and pasting converting one table at a time.
Does CS3 have something I’m missing that would remedy
this or make Converting Tables to CSS more automated and not
one-at-a-time converting?
Thanks for any suggestions or links.

A well built page with tables is infinitely more
representative of your work
than the train wreck that results when you convert tables to
layers.
Put a 5x5 table on the page, merge and split some of the
cells, add some
content to each cell, and convert to layers. Look at the
incredible mess
you have now in your code. Preview in a browser, and expand
your text size
in the browser. Look at the incredible mess you have in the
browser.
I think your approach is COMPLETELY wrong.

Looking for table that links a PM Reservation to a MM Purchase Requisition

    Hi,
Typically the way most SAP systems are configured, there are two scenarios here:
    1. The component reserved in the PM order is item category 'N'. This is a non inventory item and must be directly procured for consumption against the PM order at the point of goods receipt. In this case no reservation is created and instead a requisition is directly created (in table EBAN) and the requisition is account assigned directly to the PM order (in table EBKN - field AUFNR).
    2. The component reserved in the PM order is item category 'L'. In this case no requisition is directly created, instead a reservation is created against the item in stock (in table RESB). If there is sufficient stock of the item already then the item is consumed when it is goods issued to the PM order from stock using MIGO and there is no requisition created. In the event that there is not sufficient stock of the item for the reservations that exist, when MRP is run, a requisition will be created to replenish the stock, but this requisition will not be assigned to a specific PM order as it could be replenishing stock of the item for several reservations which are all for different orders. So in this scenario there is no direct link from the reservation generated by the PM order to the requisition.

you are asking about Microsoft products and using a laptop, not a workstation Mac Pro.
The Numbers and Pages Apple Communities. or MS Community if you want those.
Importing and Exporting, but Numbers and Pages will not do a SAVE into other formats by default, and therefore have to keep using Export which is messy.

    Hi
We are looking for a software which converts SWF to MP4, we found many software which does the job but issue is file size is not optimize.
We found Adobe captivate 6 which gives optimum quality with good output but thing is we do not have batch process in captivate 6. so we request you to create a plugin or give a best option which have batch render quality and optimize in file size,

Captivate is e-learning development software not a dedicated video convertor, you are better off trying something like Adobe Media Encoder or Super.

  • Looking for a QT batch convert solution

I am starting to really get into IPTV. I have Nero pumping video to my ps3 then to my HDTV. The problem is there is so many feeds out there they arent all compatible. The 2 i have a issue with are m4v and mov. So im looking for a solution to just point QT or another program to a folder, check if it has any of these files in it and auto convert them to .mp4. I have program that can scan and rename all the m4v files to mp4 which lets them play, but the .mov unfortunely you cant. I have to at least pass them through QT.
    Any ideas ?
Im running this media server solution on a winXP pro based laptop. QT 7.1.5 is the version i have.
    Thnx a bunch !

Yeah: I send stuff via email and then access it through the web interface. Like I said, not ideal but I haven't come across anything else.
(Also, installing apps is out of the question for me - it's a work Blackberry, and is locked down for security reasons, so I am used to living with work-arounds).

  • Looking for Java Image Format converter

    hi,
I am looking for an open-source site or so, which has Java code on converting different Image types eg. gif/jpeg etc. to PNG. I am building an application which needs to display images. It would be great to have a tool which takes the image and converts it to the PNG format.
    Can anyone help me out?
    cheers :)
    cleoppatra

hi cleo. there is no tool you can patch into your source. there are two posibilities that i know of.
    1. take a look at the algorith for gif and jepg and chang it to png.
    2. send the link to a server, which you have to program, as a servlet, which will get the html page just as the midp would do, have a normal converter jpg -> png or gif -> png, see if what type of image it is, choose the right converter and convert the pic. format the text the way you want and then send it to the mobile phone. this will make most of the work be much faster since the mobile phone is very slow, and wont be very evectif on converting stuff.
    think about it.

  • I'm looking for a program to convert midi files to sheet music on a Mac

Hi,  I looking for a program like 'Notation Composer' or 'Midillustrator' (Windows based) that works on my MacBook Pro.  My computer skills are limited so I don't want anything to complex.  I have been using Notation Composer for a couple of years on a Windows based desktop and thought I would put my files on a MacBook Pro and to my amazement it won't work on macbook.  I'm not prepared to change my computer, so I'm looking at other options.  Cheers stweever

Google search came up with Harmony Assistant.  Their are others.  You should also search MacUpdate and CNET Mac Downloads.  Only you can tell which software is too complex or not.

  • I am looking for a FREE Video converter

After spending $300 on an 30g ipod video, i don't have much money in my account to buy a video converter. Are there any free, or cheap (under $15)converters to convert mpeg's and much more?

Thanks for the link. I have them saved on my iMac in .txt files, at home. But, I'm at school, unfortunately, using one their ancient PCs... Gasp

  • Im looking for a mac PDF converter.

I recently loaded Apple mac's DF conveter, but it has disappeared. Any ideas?

What PDF converter is that? I didn't know that Apple has a PDF converter. Maybe you mean the application Preview which can convert Pdf files to .png and other file formats.
You are now in the Pages forum. PAges is an application for word processing and page layout. is it about Pages creating pdf you are asking?

  • Looking for tables

In a book titled "Oracle Database 10g:A Beginner's Guide", there is mentioned tables named "customers", "products", "sales", "costs", "promotions". But I can not find those tables in Oracle Database Express Edition.
From where I can get those tables?
    Thanks

    1) You are asking in the wrong forum. Try the Oracle Database - General or Oracle Database - XE forum
    2) Many technical books have a book-related download area hosted by the book publisher. Try the book publisher's site.
    3) A good Oracle book that references a schema will describe how to get that schema. Try re-reading the preface/introduction to see whether it is described.
    4) It so happens that the tables are part of the XE-installed HR schema. Apparently you either have a botched install or you are not looking at the database correctly. See 1)

  • Looking for file " accessibility.css "

When one looks at the following page : http://www.apple.com/accessibility/vision/ about half way down is a section labeled "Safari Cascading Stylesheets (CSS)" and within that section is a hint and an image of Safari using a custom, supposedly available .css file called accessibility.css . Anyone know where and how to get a copy of that file to work with?
    TIA / z

It's marketing. They're giving you a screenshot of what's possible. Nobody at Apple has any idea what your particular handicap is or what you would want in your CSS file. A color blind person isn't going to benefit from jumbo 96pt type nor is a person with macular degeneration going to benefit from a subtle hue change.

  • Looking for best way to convert 35 mm slides to digital images

    Hello Apple Community,
Am researching best ways to convert several hundred 35 mm slides into digital images.  There are numerous scanners/converters out there but want to ensure I get the best unit compatable with my iMac (27 inch, Late 2009).  Any suggestions welcome.

For scanning 35mm slides you need a scanner with a good photometric resolution and geometric resolution.
For the photometric resolution: Get a scanner with a high density range (D-max) value, to get a good resolution of highlights and shadows.
For the geometric resolution - sharpness and detail - try to get at least 3200 dp,i to be able to get good 8"x10" prints from your scanned slides, a higher dpi value, if you want to be able to print larger images.

  • Looking for something that converts various file formtats to TIFF

    Hi everyone,
I am currently working on a project where I am expected to convert numerous files of various formats into 1 multipage pdf and 1 multipage tiff.
I've been messing around a lot with iText (which i liked a lot because of how it was free) and I see how it can very nicely convert a multipage TIFF to a multipage PDF.
Hence, I am looking for something that can convert files of various formats (i.e. doc, txt, jpg, pdf) to a multipage tiff.
    Thank you very much.

Uh-huh. So what on earth would possess you to ask that question on a forum devoted to Java sound?
I hope that a mod. might notice this thread and move it to a more appropriate forum.
And since I am here, the Java forum for TIFFs would be JAI. Try looking through some threads there, for tips.
