Looking for Ubuntu drivers for Satellite A300-1G4

Hi
i have bought a new laptop A300-1G4 & i installed Ubuntu 7.10 OS on & my problem that some drivers didnot work.
So if anybody could help me by sending the Drivers for Wirless Card & Lan & generally all suitable drivers for Ubuntu i'll be grateful
Also i need the best configuration for Ubuntu to work good on my laptop
So any ideas or solutions ?

the drivers i need urgently is Graphic card Intel Graphic card GMA 4000 (4series),
Wirless Card Intel wifi link 5100 , & finally Realtek RTL8102E Family PCI-E Fast Ethernet (NDIS 6.0) hope u could help me ?

Unfortunately, we do not have an instrument specific driver for this Anritsu model MS4623D. Here is a link to the drivers we do have for Anritsu. We may be able to get communication to your device threw another means. How does your device communicate? For example is it GPIB or Serial. We may be able to use an NI driver and a programming manual for your device and communicate with it in LabVIEW threw this.

How do I update the Bluetooth stack for windows by toshiba? Do I have to uninstall the previous one existing on my Satellite A300-1MS or I just install over it?

Usually you could install it over the old BT stack.
But if you would receive an notification that an old BT stack must be removed firstly, then remove it and then install the new one.

Ubuntu drivers for g505s

I have purchased Lenovo Essential G505s(59-379862) (APU Quad Core A8 5550M- 8GB RAM- 1TB HDD- 15.6 Inches- 2.5GB Graph).I am trying to install ubuntu12.04. Are there dedicated drivers present for ubuntu, because I am unable to install ubuntu on my laptop.

I’m sorry to inform you that the Ubuntu drivers are not available in the support website, however you can check them from the manufacturer website for different components of the computer.

Linux is not like Windows, you should find that it will just 'work' out of the box, without having to install any drivers. You might just need to install video card drivers, but Ubuntu allows you to do this easily.
You can boot from a CD or USB drive and try Ubuntu out without installing it first, give it a try and see what you think.

Toshiba, please make proper Linux - Ubuntu drivers to your bluetooth USB sticks. I was surprised unpleasantly noting that there are no drivers available for Ubuntu. Please could someone explain THE reason to this kind of abortive policy towards Ubuntu users?

The problem is Ubuntu here. The Bluetooth adapter is directly connected to the USB bus so it should work without any problems if the OS comes along with the suitable Bluez software. Try to update your Ubuntu installation (apt-get update). Check if bluez is properly installed.

Your PC is not supported by HP for Windows 7 and Windows 7 32 bit will be particularly harder to find drivers for since OEMs have moved on to furnishing 64 bit operating systems on their PC's.
I can't get to the support pages to find out what model wireless network card your PC has, but here are the links to some of the drivers you need.
1. Install the AMD chipset drivers and reboot. These should install the smbus and usb 3 controllers.

National Instruments currently does not provide any linux drivers for its daq devices. You can get all the related info you need about labview, daq and linux from http://www.ni.com/linux/.
Check this site out and it'll lead you to the Comedi project website from where you may be able to get open-source drivers for some of NI's data acquistion products.

Registry Settings for Itunes drivers for Importing and burning CDs and DVDs

I have had this issue over and over again and re installed and uninstalled many times. Recently I upgraded to Windows 7 and for a very short time had no issues. I could burn CDS and back up and did not receive the error message on loading ITunes Setup Assistant "Warning The registry settings used by Itunes drivers for importing and burning cd's and dvd's are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other cd burning software. Pleae re install Itunes." Unfortunatley I then installed DVD Fab and this issued started again. I tried to restore my pc and uninstalled DVD fab and have no other burn software on my pc and still cant get working. I still get the same error when trying to burn a playlist "no disc recording found". Please advise what I need to do in lamen's terms. Much appreciated.

have you followed instructions also on question number 11 and 12? because u told me that you have printed and i guess it only showed the words. ok. leave itunes installed and follow the >Registry instructions< also when you get to number 11 and 12 instructions, drop them down and follow them. and also follow the rest till it tells you to restart.

Looking for LabView drivers for a CIO-DAS16/Jr card

I am not interested in the whole line of Measurement Computing products.

You will need to contact Measurement Computing to see if they provide a LabVIEW driver for their DAQ boards. National Instruments does not provide or support third party DAQ devices within LabVIEW.

Problem with SDA Deployment for JMS drivers for Tibco EMS

I was trying to deploy the latest JMS driver files for TIBCO EMS 6.0.1.
I have followed all the procedure that was given in the note 1138877 and also referred the following article

As per the error message it is mentioning about a missing jar file, but I have added all the required jar file in the sda and updated the same in the provider.xml.
So just wanted to make sure if I have missed anything.
Other thing what i wanted to mention here is, while adding the jar file to the default com.sap.aii.adapter.lib.sda file, there was a jar file named "com.sap.aii.adapter.lib_api.jar", I deleted this and added the updated Jar files for the EMS 6.0.1 drivers, Is this correct or do we need to have this com.sap.aii.adapter.lib_api.jar file as well in addition to the required driver files.
Please let me know your thoughts and if I have missed anything.

[SOLVED] Searching for WiFi drivers for LinuxMint

Machine is a A505-S6005, and LinuxMint is based on Ubuntu distro (which is one of the Debian family of Linux distros).
This is not a rewrite of the HDD; Windows 7 Home Premium/64 is still on the machine. This is a second OS on the same HDD.
Also: Anyone know why the A505-S6005 cannot boot into Ubuntu 10.x? Is it a display-driver issue, as a few have suggested?
Everything except the multimedia keys seems to work, and (since I'm often not at home, but at various places with WiFi) I need the WiFi to simply work. (Linux seems to be much more energy-efficient than Windows, which should extend battery life past the 6+ hours I can occasionally get under Windows 7)
UPDATE:
Linux Mint 10 simply works. Not sure if LM11 will, as I haven't the inclination to break what ain't broke.

would tell me there is no such package ? EDIT: Never mind this question, once the package was installed, that command worked
