Looking for video "ripping" program for Mavericks
Tech question - Video :
I have a series of privately-compiled DVDs with a whole lot of short clips that are individually chaptered.
I want to transfer each individual chapter to an individual file by itself.
I know I can do it in handbrake, I just have to take the time to instruct the program to do each chapter.
when there are 30 chapters on a DVD, and I have almost 100 DVDs to process, this becomes extremely tedious and labor-intensive!
is there any way to do this semi-automatically, to transfer each chapter on a DVD without having to set up each chapter in the “queue” (as HANDBRAKE calls it) - is there a way to do this in handbrake automatically or is there so other program that will do it??

here’s what HANDBRAKE tells me are the existing "titles" burned into the disc:
there’s 25 “titles” (as distinct from “chapters”)
I would like each “title” to be a file unto itself.
I can do it manually, it’s just labor intensive. trying to save a few minutes …

Motion tracking is not working for videos but works for images?
Motion tracking is not working for videos but works for images. When the videos is drop onto the tracking object the videos corner don't appear highlighted. I am working on windows 7 with version 13.1.

Are you within 30 days of purchase for the Premiere Elements 13? And, did you purchase as a download from Adobe? If so, you can
apply for a return/refund for 13. If you purchased elsewhere, then you would be governed by the return/refund policy of the seller.
Adobe no longer sells version 12, so you would have to find a vendor who still has it in stock and purchase it. There is no way to "downgrade"

What you may want to do is to download and install the Premiere Elements 12 tryout from the following web site to verify that 12 Motion
Tracking works for you; whereas 13 cannot with regard to use of video for the Motion Tracking source media.

Is there a Video eMail program for the eMac?
I have an external video camera hooked up to my eMac and would like to use it for Video Emails. On the PC's there are several free programs, including iGoogle and MS Messenger that allow this. Yet when I try to use them on the eMac, they state they aren't compatible with PowerPC chips, only Intel-based MACs. I've searched the internet for "Free Video Email for MAC" but failed to find anything that would work on the eMac. Several would work only with iSight, which I don't have.

(1) Perhaps you mean video chat or conference rather than video email? I no longer use a PC, but I could not see how either iGoogle or MS Messenger offers Video Email.
If you really want to send video email, all you need an OS X app that can capture a video clip. You can attach those saved clips to your email. If this is what you want to do, you likely already have an app that can capture video if your camera is compatible with your eMac.
However, if you do not already know which app you want to use to capture your video clips, take a look at this page for some candidate apps you can consider:

If you already have Apple's iMovie, QuickTime Pro, or Photo Booth, any of them can capture video for emailing provided that your camera is compatible with the app and Mac OS you are using. Other apps in the linked list might be compatible with your cameras, so, if your camera is not supported with the software you have, you may want to take a look at the system requirements and compatibility info for some of the other apps that can capture movie/video clips.

I want the video editor program for my Creative Vista Webcam
I have the model Creative Vista webcam N0225 - I lost the CD but found a link of how to download the camera without the CD reccently. I'm getting into making home videos-but-I dont know how to edit them with deleting parts adding music and fonts. I need the editor program for my webcam so I can start editing my videos. Unless you are using a beta, Release Candidate, a 'N' version or Home Basic, I can only point you in the direction of Windows Movie Maker. That should do you for now. If you are using one of the versions I mentioned above, then you're stuck for now. Creative have yet to announce if and when any updates will arri've for camera products.

Looking for a Maps program for Cloud for Customer
Hello,
I'm looking for a maps program like Microsoft Bing Maps for SAP ByDesign that is compatible with Cloud for Customer. In the process of finding this forum, I can see Cloud for Customer and Business by Design are related but are these program compatible?
Is there any documentation confirming these programs are compatible? A how to for matching them up?
Is there an alternative that I could use with Cloud for Customer to achieve the same thing?

One chapter for video and another for images on same DVD?

I don't yet have a Mac, but am very close to buying a MacBook. I do have a question about iDvd. Is it possible to create a theme or template or to even do this. I want to on a regular basis have a short 5-7 tops 10 minute video and 100-200 pictures. I'd like it so the user has the option to click one chapter and watch the video. Click the other and view the images with an option to browse the disc and save the images for uploading to their target of choice such as FB. Is this possible with iDvd?

Congratulations on being an 'almost' Mac purchaser!
Yes, you can do what you want in iDVD.
You will have theme templates that come with iDVD to use to make a nice theme for your projects.
You will have the options to have the videos play individually by placing them on the menu one at a time, or to put them in iDVD the way you place a slideshow and have them play consecutively. Here is a link to a visual from Old Toad showing just that. Remember to look at this again when you get to this point:

Another option for videos is to put them all into one iMovie and make chapters for each video. However, the chapters will not appear on the main menu, but in a separate submenu.
You can then put the photos in iDVD as their own separate slideshow.
When your DVD is viewed, the options will be to select to play the video slideshow or play the photo slideshow. You can rename these titles whatever you wish.
If you make an iMovie, the options for it will be 'Play Movie' and 'Scene Selection' ( to link to the submenu with the iMovie chapter choices) and the same photo slideshow.
In additiion, you can utilize the DVD-ROM option to have the photos and videos available for downloading to computer. This option will not be seen when the DVD disk is viewed on a set-top DVD player. iDVD's Help File says:
+In iDVD, you can easily make it possible for viewers to download the photos and movies that appear in your slideshows. This is a nice feature for viewers who may, for example, want to print the photos for permanent display.+
+The photos and movies are added to the DVD-ROM portion of your DVD, and viewers can access them when they insert the DVD into the drive on a computer. (The files are not accessible from a TV.)+
Get the MacBook! Good luck with your projects. Take the time to do all the tutorials Apple offers for its iLife applications. Spend time here in the discussions for the apps you are using. Utilize the Search function to see if someone else has asked and received answers to a problem similar to yours. You will learn a lot and find answers that even the Apple Genius bar people do not have!

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good DVD ripping program that can produce MPEG-4 I have a program called Magic DVD Ripper, but it is slow and can't do MPEG-4 then again it was free so it does a decent job for backup (as long as you have a day to set aside, and lots of HDD space).

mollyWhat you installed is a QT component from Flip4Mac. It allows QT Pro or other applications that tap into the QT Tools package to export and/or transcode WMV files. Unfortunately, Flip4Mac wants about $50 for you to register the component and gain full use of these routines. This is about 2 and a half times what I think it is worth, so I don't use it. Best bet is to either try to find the music videos in another format (like MPEG1) or see if there is another program that will convert WMV to a format (like AVI or MPEG1) which iSquint can handle. Since I don't use WMV, I have never looked for such a Mac application, but perhaps other readers have and can post their recommendations here.

Has anyone heard of a program VuVideo for transferring DVDs, etc. to the iPod? Is Videomi good?

5G Video iPod Windows XPFor transferring from DVD to iPod, in addition to Videora Converter, you will need DVD Decrypter, which you can also get from the Videora site. The site has a page of instructions for transferring from DVD to iPod.
From the site's main page, click the "click here" link under Videora Converter. Then click the "Conversion Guidelines" link on the left side. Scroll down a bit to see the "DVD to iPod" section. In addition to all the steps involved, there are links right there to download the two pieces of software. -
AW draw allows you to specify pages across and down which can be printed out and cut and pasted into a poster. Does anyone else know of a program that will do this so I can upgrade to Lion? I have been holding off upgrading since I don't want to lose this one feature.
ThanksEazyDraw can do this (menu File>Page Layout). However it's not a cheap program, though it is quite powerful - more so than the AW drawing module (and it takes a bit of getting used to as it operates rather differently).

No applications for video vfx editing for example adding smoke, fire ect...
i have been browsing the app store allot since christmas when i seemed to get a large amount of iTunes cards looking for things to spend the money on. i cant seem to find any sfx or vfx filming app. i have downloaded a fair amount of other filming apps but none that allow me to edit videos to add visual fx.
please could you give me the names of some vfx applications i would be very grateful.

It may have escaped your notice but Apple basically don't make Apps - thats down to the community. If you want something, and nobody does it, then its up to you.
Apple already had plenty of video processing applications on the Mac and they are pretty unlikely to introduce something which reduces the market for those packages.
You also need to get realistic - its not an editing suite, its a basic platform with some small, processor unintensive apps so heavy video editing isn't really on the cards. -

In FBZP, "payment method - country ' step, please check the payment methods you have defined. please check if radio buttn of rincoming payment method is ticked. e.g if in the customer master record, payment method, C is given then check if it is defined as Incoming method in above step.

What email to use for iOS developer program for company
Hi, I'm planning to register to iOS developer program as a company. My question is, should I use my company email to create the Apple ID? If sometime in the future I leave the company, can the Apple ID email be changed ?
I would recommend you to use Blowfish, but if you think you dont need a very strong algorithm and prefer to focus on performance(speed),then a 56-bit DES would be adequate.
You need the javax.crypto.* and javax.crypto.spec.* packages.
If you will store the information in a file, after you encrypt the data, base64 encode it.
(there are base64 encode/decode classes in sun.misc package)
