Several days ago ,I read the answers you give for the performance problem with oracle database .There ,you mentioned you run a example and solved the problem.
Now I am working with a Multimedia DataBase . Until now, I have successfully use a proceduer to store the Video Data into Oracle.But I used the BufferedOutputStream to store the data in the form of bit_stream into database through JDBC . Now ,I must find out a way to play the data I had stored . I spend several days to read the JMF Guider,but I am not very clear about the way I can pull the data from the database to the DataSource to Create a player . I just download a sample code from sun which can play the video I stored in my disk . I need your help .

Thanks a lot for your good advice. Follow your advice ,I read the Oracle intermedia doc,and I understand how to play the OrdVideo object through JMF .
But, after reading that doc,I am a bit confused about the BLOB class and OrdVideo &Ordaudio class. At first ,I store the video data into the database as a stream .But ,form the doc,If I want to play it in jmf,I must store it as a OrdVideo object . I am not sure about the difference between BLOB object and OrdVideo object. I am sure there must be some relationship between BLOB and Ordvideo class,but I can't understand it very well.
I hope you can give me some explanations about the difference of blob object and Ordvideo object ,and there relationships .
If I want to store the video as Ordvideo object ,How?

I appreciate your answer. While it might work, I'm a bit hesitant to remove the other programs as a possible solution since they are all currently working.
With Acrobat 9 Pro failing with the OS 10.7 upgrade, I'm hoping that there is a less severe solution.
Since the trigger appears to be 10.7 and may have something to do with the discontinued support of Rosetta, I could be spending a few hours working on a reinstall without a change. Yes, it might work. The "might" is the part that makes me hesitate.
Is anyone else out there on OS 10.7 and running Acrobat 9 Pro? Any issues with anyone else?

I tried the using the concepts from the blog (/people/mitesh.parekh/blog/2008/12/01/receiving-aleaud-as-acknowledgment-in-ccbpm)where i have the Message ID which entered into BPM
but not the message Id which triggered the IDoc send . I think i m missing some small detail where i need to capture the send step MSG Id
i'm aware that its not possible to get the Msg id in BPM . How is that ABAP Mapping in the above blog captures the message id ?

Newbie looking forward for help in isUserInRole
I want to configure the tomcat role with my users record, but I don't know when/how the tomcat can set the clientside with roles, so that the next request can have the workds in the head that I can call isUserInRole for identication. In other words, once if I want to configure the tomcat identicate the role/user from ldap other than current xml setting, how can I set the user "with roles" he just been identicated , for example, by one form identication?

Nokia n93i considering buying and need help from o...
i currently have a sharp gx10 and battery life is terrible- i get about 3 days with no calls or camera usage and thats it.
the nokia website advertises a standby time of 9 days plus for the nokia n93i which i like the look of. however reading elsewhere in the forums someone claims that they get 1.5days before recharching and since a firmware update 3 days before charging. this is putting me off. i am wondering if he uses his phone all the time for music and the like or could i expect to get only 3 days battery life before recharging even though i would hardly be using the phone.
can anyone who owns one of these phones enlighten me further?? look forward to hearing from someonewell i recently got a n93i and what they say about the battery is true. it's really bad, espically when there so much to do on the phone you just can't put it down. if i play with it all day at work it'll die around 5 hrs but if i leave it alone and just listen to music and check emails and pick up phone calls *like yesterday* i had more then 70ish %.
as for the firmware update i'm still using ver 10.0.0.25 beacuse the nokia software updater shows that the newest ver when everywhere i read ppl can upgrade to ver 11.XX.XXX

My name is Zaid Abbas (21 years) from Jordan. I am a student at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (www.psut.edu.jo). I am studying Computer Graphics and Animation. The nature of my study requires specialized hardware and software. I opted to buy Apple product for reliability and for great user experience. Before one year and seven months I bought MacBook Pro Retina Display 15-inch early 2013 (core i7 third generation 2.7 GHZ, 16 GB RAM), my cousin was in the USA and he bought it for me. I invested all my money on that MacBook about 3000 USD and as you know as a student I have odd jobs and it was hard for me to collect that amount. I was convinced that the investment in the laptop is for at least 5-6 years. Unfortunately before two weeks my logic board stopped working and this rendered my laptop to be useless. I have no ideas what is the cause for this problem. The authorized center in Amman that deals with Apple products told me that to fix it will cost me 1550 USD. This is beyond my capabilities; I don’t have that huge sum. I am looking at the option to my MacBook with anyone to a country that have Apple Store, to see if I can get it repair for free or in a better price. The timing has been unfortunate for me as I am working right now on my graduation project (a digital game), I don’t have any good laptop to design my characters and my User Interface. I am really hoping that you can provide me with a solution or any advice to bring my laptop back to life.

The problem got beyond any Apple Care capabilities.
If I would buy an Apple Care 2 years warranty, it still does not apply for this kind of problem.
The lid is damaged, the intervention does not seem to appear on the system, it does not seem to be registered there, the intervention was made brutally to reap of the laptop of its components.
The company from Wien told me this is beyond any Apple Care warranty stipulations. They told me that I NEED a direct Apple Inc. reply on this matter, because they understood my problem, but they cannot still do anything without Apple Inc. approval. -

like fcsh but which can be automated/scripted. fsch is not possible
to be scripted because it is an interactive shell script. Adobe
does not provide the open source for fcsh at this time as far as I
have seen. I do not want to use the Flex apache module but I wish
there was a version of fcsh which behaved similarly. I do not wish
to use the Apache module because any compile errors remain in the
browser with no opportunity to pass them back with lines to my text
editor. The Flex module is attached to Apache and Apache can be
started/stopped via a shell command. I would like to be able to
operate fcsh similarly - in that fcsh is always running and
instructions are passed to fcsh via secondary commands. I am

It's good to read Antoniad's post. It reassures me that I can use my new iPad as an international communication device which is the reason I purchased the thing. However, I called Verizon today (my provider of cellular data) who told me that I can't just pop in a SIM card as you suggested. He also said that he was from the "Pre-Pay" division of Verizon and he was certain that I couldn't do what I planned to do. I was extremely disappointed as I had called Apple prior to buying the iPad and I read the algorhythm on the website for choosing an iPad before purchasing. Those sources were quite specific and the information seemed clear. I would be able to use my iPad to communicate through cellular connections while traveling on the road, literally, abroad. I was told that I could pop in a data card wherever I was, just as you indicated in your message above, and voila I was good to go. The Verizon rep definitively rained on that parade, but said that I might be able to do this if I have a "Post-Pay" account, a different area of Verizon. I haven't had the chance to talk to this division yet, so I looked to Apple's Support for answers. Maybe I will find out that I can use my iPad as an international communication device while traveling on the road afterall, however, it appears I may need a different type of account (Post-Pay), something I was never warned about. Can I switch to this kind of account? I don't know. I have to find out. If you have any information about this issue, it would be good to share since I strongly suspect there are others who bought the iPad for the same purpose that I have.

I need to forward a text from my iPhone 4s to my email so I can print it as it is an official email that I cannot lose but when I tap "more" and it gives me the "arrrow" to "forward", it will only forward it back as a text in my message folder, even if I type in my email address manually. I'm looking for some help connecting linksys IP Cameras to my home network to monitor my property when I'm travelling. I used to do this with linksys WAPS, but since I've discarded all my old linksys networking and standardized on airport, I can't get these things working. I know that I have to identify my camera through the DHCP table and set up port forwarding and there is the problem.
My network consists of 4 base stations set up in a roaming network - same network name and passwords. I need to do it this way so I don't have to switch network when I move from one side of the house to the other, go to the cabana, or my shop in the barn. The network works pretty well since I went to a roaming set up. Good performance, yata, yata, yata.
However, the roaming network requires the AEBS's to be set up in bridge mode, rather than sharing an ip address. When the AEBS is set to bridge mode, you don't see a DCHP table or have the ability to identify your IP Cam through the AEBS - and hence, no port forwarding.
I am able to identify and set up my Linksys IP Cam by locating the ip address on my FIOS router, even though, it's plugged into an AEBS. I set it up, see the video, remove the ethernet cable from the IP Cam, restart - and I can't get to it from an AEBS. In researching this, it appears, I should be setting up the AEBS to "share an IP Address", going to the DHCP table and identifying the camera's IP address and setting up port forwarding. However, you don't see any of the DHCP or port forwarding options in Airport Network Utility when configuring in bridge mode.
I'm hoping I'm missing something here and that the solution isn't to set it up at the FIOS router level, but I'm beginning to think that's my only hope. What concerns me there is that I should be able to see the IP cam on the network without port forwarding since I'm not coming from outside, and I can't even do this unless it's connected hard wire.
I'd appreciate any insight into this that anyone might have. I've hit the wall with what I know.
Thanks.In a roaming network, your "main" router is the device that would require port mapping/forwarding to be configured in order to access the IP camera from the Internet. This router is also the one that would be provide the private IP address for the camera which you will want to be a static one.
So as you described your network, the IP cameras should be getting an IP address or you assigned it a static one and this is the address that you would enter in the Private IP address (or equivalent depending on the router used) field when setting up port mapping.
If you are not able to access this camera from the local network, then this should be troubleshot first.
