Looking to hire

My company is looking to hire a GroupWise Admin. Any advice on how/where to find someone looking for this sort of position? We advertised on Monster, but are having a hard time finding candidates with actual GroupWise admin experience. Know someone or have suggestions? Hoping someone at Brainshare will know where to look. Thnx.

Hit me with a message off forum and I can point you in a few directions.
Take Care.

  • Looking to hire live support/consultant to get me started

I'm just switching from PC to Mac and Frontpage to
Dreamweaver. I watched a bunch of Lynda movies, which were useful,
but I have problems opening and working with my existing sites...
content does not display in design view, CSS does not pick up etc.
Bet this is something obvious and simple for someone who
    knows what they're doing... :-(
I'm looking for someone I can call in moments like these to
help me do things more efficiently.
I would send you a Yugma invitation to share my desktop, so
you don't have to live in this area.
Right now I'm quite stressed by a project deadline (this
weekend, 5/17/08), so a message/support soon would be
    great...

You can contact me offlist at 'forums at

  • Looking to hire someone to write a vehicle maintenance database

To anyone interested, we are looking for a vehicle maintenance database for our fleet of 11 vehicles. We are a small company and we do a lot of our preventative maintenance in house.  Our employees take the vehicles home with them and there lies the
problem with tracking the services. So we are looking for a vehicle maintenance database to track our services with reminders.  we like to track oil changes every 10k, trans service every 60K, brake fluid flush every two years, etc.  we have a server
and three workstations all with access 2010 or 2013.  We have not been able to find anyone local that we could afford. I think the downloaded template  "vehicle maintenance" will work with some modifications.  If anyone is
interested, please let me know. Thank You

  • Looking for a directory of iPhone MFi vendors

I'm trying to find a directory or clearinghouse for Apple MFi vendors. I am looking to hire an existing, experienced MFi vendor to develop an iPhone external accessory for me. I have found iLounge and CNET, but they are very consumer oriented. My project is more commercial. In fact it is in the surveillance/security arena. So what I really want maybe is a list of experienced surveillance equipment vendors that are existing MFi program members. But a more general directory of MFi vendors would be useful.
    Thanks for your help.

  • Electrical Engineer with automated test experience looking for job in San Antonio Area

I am an Electrical Engineer with 33 years of experience. Much of my experience involves computer programming with an emphasis on electrical systems, either controlling equipment or automated testing. I have experience in numerous languages, most recently LabView, LabWindows/CVI, and TestStand, but also including 'C', Visual Basic, FORTRAN, and Z80 assembler. I have most recently worked in the MS Windows environment, but I have worked in the UNIX environment as well.
In addition to programming I have done some hardware design and equipment specification. I have done drafting of schematics in Visio, but I also have some experience with AutoCAD. I have written user's manuals and done hardware/software integration. I feel I have a broad range of experience in many areas of engineering and programming. I also feel that my engineering background helps be to understand the needs of the customer and thus be better able to translate those needs into the control or test program they need.
I currently live in San Antonio, Texas and am looking for a job in this area. A job on the south side of Austin might be considered if I could tele-commute or work in my home with occasional trips, eg. weekly, to Austin.

I would like to speak to you about your current work situation and the type of position you may be seeking. Currently, I am looking to hire experienced LabView programmers/Project engineers for a long-term opportunity. The following is a brief job description:

This code is used as the centerpiece for Test & Measurement systems that span most industries including military/aerospace, biomedical, semiconductor, automotive and telecom.
Candidate will handle LabView integration projects from beginning to end. Will work closely with customers to understand requirements, participate in bid process, manage timelines on projects, perform LabView programming, and handle customer questions and concerns. The position requires 60% programming, 20% hardware design and test, 20% customer interface and project management. Prefer candidates with 7 to 10 years of LabView programming experience.

Hi, I am exactly what you want! Here is (part of) my cover letter.
Please email me where I can send the resume.
In addition to my broad educational background including two Masters
Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Physics, numerous Computer
Science courses taken, and twelve years of diverse experience in
programming, system administration, and support, I am a National
Instruments Certified LabVIEW Developer. As you can see on the
National Instruments website, there are only 167 people worldwide and
4 including me in the State of Illinois who were granted this title. I
have a history of numerous successful projects in the areas of
industrial automation, control and data acquisition. In particular, I
have implemented several LabVIEW test systems projects including the
    following:
    - Real-Time Electron Beam Doses Monitoring, Beam Parameters
Measurement, and Ion Charge Measurement Systems for Steris
    Corporation;
    - Control and Data Acquisition Program for an Electron Spectrometer
    System in the Western Michigan University Accelerator Laboratory;
    - LIMS II (Temperature Test),Surge Test Automation, Locked Rotor Test,
Variable Ambient Chamber Control and Data Acquisition for Underwriters
    Laboratories (UL);
    - Abrasion Wear Test for Caterpillar;
    - Distributed Data Acquisition and Reporting System for Hydraulic
Spray Nozzles Testing for Spraying Systems Co.
Descriptions and code examples of projects I have done are available
    upon request.
The latest projects utilize my own architecture which allows creating
complex applications as a collection of components that have uniform
structure, but different purposes. Each component runs independently
providing services to other components and exchanging data via
standardized queued messages. The resulting code looks similar
regardless of specific functionality. It is easily readable and
modifiable by developers other than the author.
I also have done several projects involving HMI, digital I/O, motion
control, communication between a PC and PLC's, using Visual Basic,
Think & Do, Steeplechase and other software tools.
My experience and background enable me to master any software
development tool quickly, making me a perfect candidate who can always
keep up with the ever-changing world of computer technologies.
I am looking forward to discussing this opportunity with you.
    Sincerely,
    Stanislav Rumega

  • Looking for Photoshop developer to create actions panel

Looking to hire a Photoshop scripter for an actions panel.  Need the actions panel to be interactive and allow users to select photos that are inserted into a psd template.
    PM if your interested.

No, I didn't. The last time I saw it, it was looking just as a regular Reader with a little more options and with an addon to MS-Office, to allow to save MS documents to pdf from inside MS-Office user interface products, and frankly, I do not highly admire there products at all, so I do not have MS-Office installed. But it was also long time ago. If the situation did changed since than,  I will try it.
    Thank you very much.
I've just tried the Acrobat. It worked great ! Thank you. Just not all the images have options how to save them in pdf file, but that's ok for now

  • Labview contract to hire

    Boulder/Longmont, CO
My company, Sureworks (www.sureworksllc.com) is looking to hire a local LabVIEW programmer as a contractor (1099), if you are a good fit, I will hire you permanently.
The contract job is very well-defined, we would pay you hourly. It is approximately a few days worth of work, but it is really a trial period to much bigger things.  If you are tired of the large company politics, tired of endless meetings, if you are ready to learn a huge set of real-world skills, this might be it.
If you are MacGyver and have somehow gotten to learn LabVIEW in addition to all of the rest of your skills, great.  Being a small business, I need someone that can do hardware, software, etc.  Approximately 2-5 years experience in LabVIEW would be fine, NI Certs would be good, electrical engineering background would be good.  Software engineering would be just as good, especially if you have experience in firmware, ARM, or mobile devices.
Sureworks has been serving Denver/Boulder for 7 years, with clients ranging from USBR, NREL, several large industrial conglomerates, and sole inventors looking to get their idea off the ground.  Reply to [email protected] Please include a resume.
    Good luck!
    Darren Odom
    Principal, Sureworks LLc.
     [Edit]- Misspelled MacGyver

I would not recommend hiring a MacGiver who learned LabVIEW "on the side"...  Not if you want a solution that will be free of headaches and casual explosions..  Not to mention bugs and unreadable code that will need to be re-written by a someone truely knowledgeable..
There are non-MacGivers out there who do have the skills you are looking for.  Many can be found in the forum.  Availability is another subject..
