Looking up an IP address

This is generally about a standard BT/BT infinity IP, but you can talk about any dynamic IP too though.
Is it possible to look up someone's IP address and make connections to other ones. For example if I visit were to change my IP and then visit this forum on a newly made account, then do the same several times, would the different IPs be able to be connected somehow? If I got given a random list of IP addresses, I don't know if they're different people or the same person, is there any way to tell, any way IPs are linked?

Have a look here: https://panopticlick.eff.org/
Once I turned off NoScript (it's a Firefox plug-in which blocks Javascript amongst other things) the site said my browser was unique among all the ones they had ever seen.
It's a combination of the data your browser sends to the site every time it connects, and some nifty Javascript to probe for information about your PC's configuration.

Sounds like a bogus pop up. In any case power down your Mac, your modem, your router. Then power back up in 1 minute sequence; modem, router, Mac.

My user exit is to check and see whether did user change any of the fields, if yes, a pop-up will appear asking them certain questions. Table KUWEV has only name1 which is not enough. Thanks.

Did you even bother to look at the defined internal tables in SAPMV45A? I just did and found internal table XVBADR.

  • I am having trouble connecting to my wireless internet. I keep getting message that my network configuration settings have changed. Ive been advised that i need to change settings to look for dynamic ip address ?

I am having trouble connecting to my wireless internet and am getting the message that my network configuration settings have changed. I have reported it to my provider who advised that they think the Mac is looking for a fixed IP address and they use dynamic addresses. I have had the Mac for months and have not had this problem before. I would appreciate any help please on how to fix this ?

Then I get a separate pop up that says: Secure Connection Failed. aus3.mozilla:443 uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is only valid for the following names: securelogin.arubanetworks.com, www.securelogin.arubanetworks.com
    (Error code: ssl_error_cert_domain)
This could be a problem with the server's configuration or it could be someone trying to impersonate the server.
If you have connected to this server successfully in the past the error may be temporary and you can try again later.
I have tried many many times!

  • Looking for an email address for support

I'm not sure where to post this, but since I ordered a wi-fi 3G iPad, I'll try here.
I am trying like crazy to find an email address to contact about my order. I placed an order for the iPad 2 wi-fi / 3G 32G w/o engraving. I wanted to upgrade it to the 64G with engraving. I just wanted to send an email asking how I should go about changing my order. I can't, for the life of me, find an email address for order support. Or any other support for that matter. All their support seems to be through phone numbers and FAQ. Maybe I'm missing something.
    Thanks

I believe the only email support Apple offers is for Photo Services and iTunes Customer Service.

  • Looking for claws mail address book plugin/feature

    Hi
I was wondering if there a way to show the address book as a panel in the message editing window (like in thunderbird)?
I haven't seen it neither in preferences nor external plugins (but of course I could have missed something)
    Thanks!:)

Can you export your Thunderbird address book as a vcf card? That is, select all cards, and drag them all to the desktop, or export to the desktop, as a single "mega-VCF" card? If so, then double clicking on that single vcf file should import all into the Address Book application. Fields that do not have data entries in Thunderbird will be left blank in the Apple Address Book.
You may run into an issue with duplicate cards of the same proper name if you are using proper name on the cards. But if, for example, you use proper names on the address/phone set, and email addresses only (no proper names), you should be able to avoid that problem. You could then create groups within Address Book to make a distinction between them. Maybe, once each card was associated with a group, you could maintain proper name on both, since they should be distinguished by group affiliation. But I am not sure on that; that is something that you would have to experiment with.

  • Is there any way to replace the leather look of iCal and Address Book

I just don't like the new versions of these apps.  The Snow Leopard look was perfect for me.

  • WebLogic 6.0 looking for old IP address after DHCP assigned new IP

    Hi All,
I installed WebLogic 6.0 on my desktop and it worked just fine
till the DHCP server assigned a new IP address to my desktop.
Now when I start the Example Server, I get the following.
    "####<Mar 23, 2001 5:57:29 PM CST> <Notice> <WebLogicServer> <johnt1>
    <examplesServer> <SSLListenThread> <system> <> <000202> <SSLListenThread
    listening on port 7002>
    ####<Mar 23, 2001 5:59:56 PM CST> <Error> <ConnectionManager> <johnt1>
    <examplesServer> <ExecuteThread-13> <> <> <000000> <Could not connect
    to: '0S:10.97.20.69:[7001,-1,-1,-1,-1,-1,-1]'>
java.net.NoRouteToHostException: Operation timed out: no further
    information
    at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketConnect(Native Method)..."
Please note that 10.97.20.69 is my old IP address. I have a strong
feeling that this has something to do with cloudscape as the Default
Server starts up just fine. The server continues to run after
this exception is thrown and I can start the admin console.
    Any thoughts ??
    regards,
    Tony.

I don't think it's about cloudscape. The same thing happens to me, and I
don't use cloudscape, or have any references to it in my config file.
I usually find that shutting down and restarting Weblogic once or twice
    clears it up.

  • I cannot connect my Kindle Fire to the network. It looks for the IP address and says Cannot connect. Try again. On my iPad I see that a new client is on the network but just for the time of not finding the IP address. Any suggestion? Thank you.

The Kindle Fire finds my Wi-Fi network but cannot obtain an IP address. My iPad AirPort is telling me that a new client is on the network until the Kindle Fire says Cannot connect Try again Any suggestion? Thank you

Any chance the wifi network you're trying to connect to has had its access password changed? If so, do you have the correct password?
Can you 'rub' the wifi antenna on the iPad? That might help. I've done this with my iPod Touch and it helped restore the device's ability to connect.
Is it possible to power cycle the wifi router you're trying to connect to?
If worse comes to worse, can you 'reset' the iPad?  You could do this, but I'd maybe suggest it as only a last resort.
I think you can also go into the wifi settings and 'delete' that wifi network and then re-connect to it.
    Good luck with it.

I need help. I am not good with technology. I upgraded phone today to 5 s I am missing notes and photos  it looks like the cloud address is not correct. Any suggestions

Have you forgotten your password? - if so, you have a problem if the email address has gone dead.
If you know your password, go to the iTunes Store, click on Account. log in and you can change the associated email address.
If you don't know your password, and have no email address, you are going to have problems because it's difficult to see how Apple are going to identify you as the authorised owner of the account. Contact iTunes Support: go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ - click on 'Other iTunes Store Features' in the list and then on 'Podcasts'. You will see a link to either 'Express Lane', which will guide you eventually to some contact options, or you may see a link to email them.

  • Pop-up windows from the portal showing address bar

    Hi,
I am not sure where to post this thread, but here goes. My client has the CRM web UI which has been integrated into SAP Portal 7.3. I am not aware of how this is done as I am not familiar with CRM.
The issue being faced is that when a user tries to create a new opportunity etc, the pop-up window opens. But an address bar is seen in the pop-up. This was not appearing when they were on an earlier version of EP.
I am not sure where I should be looking to remove the address bar. Is this something related to the web UI and not the portal?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vaishnavi

  • How can I retrieve the IP address of the default printer from the windows registry

I am using LabVIEW 7 on windows NT4 computers.
I have a SubVI that I use to ping the network printer to make sure that the printer is on line prior to sending a print at the end of testing a unit.
If LabVIEW does not get a reply to its ping data is saved locally and the user informed.
I would like to modify the VI that pings the printer to ping the default printer of the computer on which the VI is running.
I would be grateful if anyone can show me how to retrieve the default printers IP address.

    Hi Stuart,
The registry entries for User's Default Printer are:
    Win 9x:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Windows]
    NT/XP:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows]
    "Device"="Printer Name"
The device is the name used to represent the printer in the registry. The name can be found in the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Printers\Settings] key.
Machine name is part of the "Printer Name," which you can use to ping directly (i.e., w/out having to look-up its IP address).
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Khalid
