Lookout crashes when i 'Edit Data Member Configuration'
SLC-500 Driver, Ethernet, SLC5/05 - only this one out of ten - im thinking something is corrupted. Any way to fix it? Or am i gona spend hours changing all the dependancies to a new driver?
There is probably something wrong in this object datamembers. Try to open the .lks file to recompile it and edit it. If it doesn't crashes, the problem is in the process file(.l4p). But if not, the source file(.lks) has the problem. If you are familiar with the lookout source file, open is by text editor and try to find it out, or post it here.

Crashes when changing editing data model
Reports 6i crashes (My windows (Unix) disappears) often when I am changing the data model (i.e removing and adding columns). I did figure out one thing and that is you when you delete a column that has a data link without removing the data link first it will not remove the column and the report will crash when you attempt to make an additional changes to that query that was changed. Any additional reasons?
Kathy,
Suggest you log a TAR with Oracle Support on this issue. The builder should not be crashing and I did not find any bugs logged. They will need to reproduce the problem and log a bug if necessary. You will need to supply them with the specific version of Reports and the operating system.

Premiere Pro cs6 keeps crashing when im editing or rendering a video
When I am on Adobe Premiere Pro cs6 every 10-20 mins it crashes when im editing a video, it crashes more often when im rendering it (export media, ctrl+M). I dont mind when it crashes while im editing because i save the file regularly but when im rendering its a problem, it probably because the file is too big as i use dxtory to record skyrim but this is an expensive product so it should be able to render. I encode the file once ive chosen the format and stuff for the video and it says finish rendering in 50 mins or so and when it gets to like 4% rendering it says not responding. It then troubleshoots but then says 'close program'. this is very frustrating, please can someone help me. I've looked through the forums but i dont uinderstand many of the solutions as im not that good at computers

InDesign crashes when scrolling/editing a corrupted page with a broken link.
Just sharing a problem I had and how I solved it (with help from adobe tech support-thanks!).
Indesign CC running on a Mac OSX 10.9.2
PROBLEM:
InDesign crashed when ever I reached a certain page in a large document I was working on. On that page was a link to an illustrator file. Somehow this file must have been corrupted, but there was no chance to edit or delete this link/page as the program crashed instantly when ever I tried to manipulated that specific page.
SOLUTION:
I opened a new, empty document; opened the broken file and moved all pages to the new document: LAYOUT/PAGES/MOVE PAGES; select Move Pages "ALL"; Move to: "Select the new document"; click OK. I went back to the new file with the moved pages saved it and deleted the corrupted link on that page which I could now edit again. Problem solved!
Hope this is helpful for anyone who experience the same problem.Did you share in the program forum? InDesign

Safari 3.0.4 crashes when entering form data
Hello,
After updating to 3.0.4 here at work on windoze, I am getting consistant crashes when trying to type in any kind of form data. This includes PW fields as well as text entry fields such as this topic composition window. I can click to place the cursor, but as soon as I type any key:
The exception Breakpoint
A breakpoint has been reached.
(0x80000003) occured in the application at location 0x65502682.
Click OK to terminate the program
Click on Cancel to debug the program
I haven't tried to re-install yet, figured I'd post first to see if there is an easier way...Yup, did that before posting...
Anyway, 3.1 seems to have fixed my problem. Hurray! Safari on windoze again -
Adobe Crashes when working/editing PDF's
adobe crashes when working on certain PDF's that require editing. Have updated to latest 11.0.09. Hangs when trying to save file. Didnt do it with previous versions. Running W8.1 Pro.
File has been saved to Desktop, and C:, still does not work. Seems to not mater where we edit the forms from, it crashes occasionally when we edit, but always when we save or save as. Tired downloading from IE, Chrome and Firefox.
Running 11.0.09, Im running .08 on another computer which works fine perhaps I should roll back to a previous version?
Have also tried running AcroRd32.exe in difference compatibility modes (W7) to no avail.
Definitely using Adobe Reader. -
Unknown error when i goto- "Data Transfer configuration" in DSWP....
Hi all,
In DSWP when i go into any solution and Service Plan->SAP deliveerd services and then click on Register solution at SAP it said profile parameters have to be set for login/create_sso2_ticket = 2 and login/accept_sso2_ticket = 1.
so i added in RZ10 and restarted.
Now I am getting Unknown error when i goto->"Data Transfer configuration" in DSWP....
Need ur inputs on this..
SubbaHi,
I did check parameters....earlier it said
: Check the values of the two profile parameters and set them to suitable
values, for example:
login/create_sso2_ticket = 2
login/accept_sso2_ticket = 1
After setting the profile parameters (using transaction RZ10) you must
restart the application server for the new values to become active.
i did that....but now i am getting unknown error....
SP level is okay...ST-PI level 0005
and ST-A/PI level J
Need inputs on this...
Thanks,
Subba -
IPhoto crashes when I edit with Photoshop!
Whenever I edit an iPhoto photo using Photoshop, iPhoto crashes when I try to import it back into iPhoto. This happens whether I export the photo, Photoshop it, and re-import it, or whether I use iPhoto Preferences to select Photoshop as my editor. I can import other photos into iPhoto, just not photos that have been edited with Photoshop. Help would be much appreciated!
Using Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements) as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop. When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window". That will let you either edit in iPhoto (double click on the thumbnail) or in PS (Control-click on the thumbnail and seledt "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu). This way you get the best of both worlds
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file. -

Safari keeps crashing when loading large data on web pages
I have owned my iPad 3 for more than a year now and I have never encountered this problem but ever since I have updated to the latest iOS version(7.1.1), my safari keeps crashing on my community site where threads have maybe over a 100 comments in them.
Now whenever I open a thread page on Safari, it loads for a few seconds then crashes, to make things worse for me is one in a while when it crashes, it reboots my iPad. I have seen several similar questions asked by other people regarding safari crashing when loading large amounts of data and got help saying that there's something wrong with the CSS. or something but I never got any idea on how to resolve this bug.
Can anyone tell me how do I prevent my Safari from crashing everytime I open a thread? Any solutions? Because I am getting really ******.
(Ps: I have already tried other browsing apps such as Google Search and Chrome, they still crash. I even tried letting it load half-way and then stopping it but it isn't going well.)I have restored my iOS devices a number of times in order to resolve issues and it has gone very smoothly every time. I am not going to lie, it takes a fair amount of time to backup, restore the iOS and then restore from the backup, but it could very well resolve the issue.
On the other hand, it may not help at all. Restoring the software is a standard troubleshooting measure And that is why it is recommended when other suggestions aren't working. But before you restore, there are a couple of other things that you could try,
Reset all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings. You will not lose any data when you do this, but it does take some time to enter all of the device settings again, so be aware of that.
Another thing to try is to erase the device and start over. This is different than restoring to factory settings. Reads rhis for more information.

After Effects CS5.5 crashes when selecting "Edit in Audition" (0::42)
I was surfing around Adobe TV and watching a few tutorials when I decided to try out the edit in audition feature, except when I pulled up my project and selected "edit in audition" I got this error message:
After Effects error: crash in progress. Last logged message was: <8136>
<Dynamiclink> <5> 0000000019A79460
After Effects can't continue: sorry, After Effects has crashed. For After Effects
help and support, go to http://www.adobe.com/support/aftereffects. If you still
can't resolve the issue, please contact Adobe technical support (2).
(0::42)
What I'm trying to import into Audition is really heavily edited and saved as an .aep, but when I do the same with an untouched .mov file it works fine. So maybe it's a limitation of Audition/After Effects? I don't know.
Also, a couple of things have been installed since I started the project, and I read in a thread that might be the problem. But before I go deleting anything I want to make sure the same thing is happening to me.
Aside from this, After Effects works just fine, and so far this is the only error I've gotten.
My setup is
Acer Aspire
Windows 7 64-bit
4GB RAM
Intel i5 processor
Adobe Production PremiumYou're probably simply running out of memory to run both programs at the same time and otehr things like compressed audio/ video in the project may complicate matetrs further with hardware acceleration stuff. Not much you can do, most likely beyond the usual advice of making sure all your drivers are up to date...

AppleIDAuthAgent crashes when removing / editing Apple-ID
Hi folks,
I've a strange problem. I can't remove or edit my Apple-ID that is assigned to my OS-X user account. When I open system-settings - users & groups, select my OS-X user and click on change-button beside Apple-ID, I see the assigned ID. But when I click on the "-" button to remove it or try to change the password of the ID, nothing happend. Instead I see inside the console, that the process AppleIDAuthAgent crashes each time I try to edit or delete the Apple-ID.
I tried to repair premissions, repair my key-chain (using key chain first aid), created a new and empty key-chain, logged out from iCloud - but none of those actions helped.
Do anyone have an idea what I can do to fix that problem?

I deleted the following preferences file:
~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.coreservices.appleidauthenticationinfo... . plist
And that removed the Apple IDs from the Users and Groups Preferences. Then I was able to add the one I wanted. The preferences file was automatically recreated and it was exactly as before except the one I couldn't delete was now gone. -
File crashes when doing a data merge
Doing an NCR job and trying to number 1-1000. The file merges all the way to the end. I get no overset text prompt, go to close the file and it crashes everytime. I thought it might be a font error so I made the order form a PDF and the font for the numbering is plain vanilla times. Same result. I exported to idml to open in CS5 and the file immediately crashes upon opening. I'm hoping I don't have to recreate the form. Here is the error message:

Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 crashing when making edits
I everyone. I migrated to Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 (I need to finish a couple of project before I can update the computer to CC and Mac OS 10.8.) and it's been crashing right from the begining. It's a random crash but my impression that it becomes more probable as the projects grow.
It happens whenever I'm editing and I press the shortcut for "overwrite" or "insert". (It also happens when I press the icon or move the clip to the timeline)
The screen message I get is this one:
The log message that I get afterwards goes as follows:
On previous days, I've been able to keep working just by deleting the Media database preview files from Premiere but it's not working anymore.
I'm working with XMF files shot with a Canon C300 synced using premiere to sound files (.wav). It only happens when I try to edit but it doesn't matter if I try to edit sound, sound and image or just image.
What it doesn't make sense is that it says something about "dynamic lynk" and, as far as I know, I'm not using dynamic link at all.
Thanks in advance for your time and wisdom
Jaime From SpainNow, a few updates after a very long night (just in case it might help somebody)
Up until last night, I was saving my Premiere Projects in a Dropbox Folder inside my computer. It was a quick safe way of having a backup copy. Well, it seems that the crash is somehow related. Don't ask me why but once I moved the project file to a regular hard drive (actually a RAID0 where I keep my heavier files) the crashes have stopped.
This morning I went back to the dropbox idea with a new project and -Voilá!- after three hours of work, it crashed again. I moved the file to the RAID disk and no more crashes. My guess is that it is somehow related to the auto-save files that premiere keeps saving. Once it reaches a certain amount (around 20 in my experience) dropbox and Premiere start to do something weird and they crash the software... (It might be related to the software dropbox uses to keep your folders updated and keep backup versions of everything)
I'll run a few tests next week trying to keep the Auto-save files out of dropbox and just the regular files there to see what happens.
Best regards
Jaime
