Lookout Modbus Ethernet driver for Do-More PLC?

I see AutomationDirect has now come out with a Do-More PLC CPU that uses DirectLogic 205 hardware. Their documentation states that the new CPU Ethernet port communicates with protocols that include:
Modbus/TCP Client (Master) and
Modbus/TCP Server (Slave)
Would the Lookout Modbus Ethernet driver communicate with this?

  • Modbus ethernet driver not sending complete packet

    Hello,
I have a modbus ethernet driver sending out Floating point data (F0002-F0026) once per machine cycle for spc collection.  The problem is that the last float32 is getting cut in half and the data is not coming across.  To remedy this, I have set up an additional register (F0028).
Attached is a screenshot of my advanced modbus settings and the ini file.  Would any of these settings contribute to the problem?
    Thanks,
    Steven

    Hi Pratik,
Are you using bufmod module for buffering the data? If so, then you must be using SBIOCCHUNK ioctl to increase the streams watermarks? problem with this is that bufmod can only increase the watermarks to 64K, which may not always be sufficient for all the DLPI applications.
There is a way to increase the system-wide streams watermarks using adb if you don't want to write a module to use M_SETOPTS. Please provide your email address if you need more information.

  • Ethernet driver for HP p7-1414

I need the Ethernet driver for my pc for Win 7. I have found all drivers including the WiFi driver so I can connect to Internet. But when I plug in my student cable, it doesn't do anything. My pc still remains connect wirelessly. So I need that driver. It a HP p7-1414. Thanks.

    Hi:
Rather than hunting down all of the drivers individually, the easiest thing would have been to find a model with the same motherboard as yours which has Windows 7 drivers.
All of the W7 drivers from this slightly older model will work on yours.

  • Ethernet driver for WXP is not working on Satellite A100

Satellite A100-784 PSAANE-02L011G3 ethernet driver for wxp is not working. Can not properly install driver, downloaded all possible drivers and still not working.
In device manager yellow sign. I have bought my laptop with Vista BASIC and I put XP-SP2. Country is Croatia! Help me please!

    Hi
I cannot believe that you are not able to install the LAN driver on this A100 Satellite!
However, the Sat A100-784 supports an Intel 82562GZ 10/100 Mbit (Ekron) Lan chip.
If you want you can download and install the Lan driver from the Intel page:
    http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Product_Filter.aspx?ProductID=999&lang=eng
There you will find the drivers for the Intel 8256x Ethernet Controllers

I recently install x64 XP Pro to T61 machine and search for Ethernet driver in the Lenovo's website.
    I can't find it.  My T61 got Duo Core 2 2.4GHz, 2Gb of Ram. NVIDIA Quadro NVS140M 512MB.
I thank you in advanced and look forward to your response.

    Don,
Thank you very much for the link to Intel internet driver.  Now, I am looking for audio, sound and graphic drivers for x64 XP Pro OS.  I had tried drivers in Lenovo website and it didn't work.  All x64 drivers are made for Vista.  Also, I tried Nvidia website and they didn't have required graphic driver.  My T61 system hardware is Intel 2.4 GHz Duo Core 2, Nvidia Quadro NVS 140M 512MB, 2GB RAM memory.  I look forward to your response and you have nice day.

  • No Ethernet driver for Dell T1600

    Hi There,
I am trying to do an install on a new Dell T1600 but cannot proceed due to the lack of ethernet support for this machine (Needs Latest Intel e1000e)
The standard install ISO does not have the latest e1000e kernel module  for this ethernet.
So my initial workaround was to install a testing ISO from here -> http://releng.archlinux.org/isos/2011.06.10/
... but these images get part way through the boot of the ISO and then the screen goes blank (udev stage)
    Any Ideas,
    Cheers,
    Bernie

See if you can find any recent live cd/usb that boots successfully and supports your NIC - once you have that, you can do this.
Thanks, but that link sounds far to complicated ... can I not just get the e1000e driver from the other Live install disk onto a USB disk, then use the standard Arch install CD and copy the module to the correct place and modprobe it during/before the network setup stage?
Don't suppose anyone can send me an e1000e kernel module from a recent Ubuntu box (or other distro with an upto-date kernel ..)?

  • Ethernet driver for T20

hi i am tryin to find ethernet drivers for ThinkPad T20 2647-41G ...and will this driver work with XP
    thanks

    Welcome to the forum!
Your ThinkPad hasn't originally come with a LAN card, just with a modem. If the LAN card has been installed, you'd need to identify it by a FRU number on it as either Intel or 3Com, and take it from there.
The simplest way to find out whether you actually have a LAN card installed is to press F1 when booting, enter BIOS page and look under MAC address. If it says "not applicable", you'll need to replace your modem with a combo card, or start using a PCMCIA one. If there is one, open the slot in the back and find the FRU number on the card. After you've done that, put the number in "search" function on Lenovo's website, and the card should pop-up.
XP includes drivers for both of these cards, even in the retail version.
    Hope this helps.

  • Does Lookout have a driver for SLC 5/05 and 1500 over ethernet

Does Lookout communicate with the AB SLC 5/05 over ethernet and the AB 1500 via the Net DNI over ethernet ?

Several years ago (back in Lookout 3.8 days) there was ethernet for AB SLC-5/05, it was a choice on the pull down menu for the communications type. It works great.
then in the days of Lookout 5.X, NI removed the ethernet for AB SLC-5/05. I believe the issue was that some users were having difficulty in understanding the I/O addressing, expecially when they would have an analog input/output card in the chassie. The issue is that RSLogix 'neatly' organizes this I/O table for us, however, NI can only get the I/O table in its 'raw' form. And this caused confusion for users not experienced with how the I/O table is truly layed out. A user can experiment with a bench/test system and see how the I/O is layed out and get a good understanding. But a another method is to write the analog input value to a "N" file address, and use that in Lookout (remember only the I/O is the issue) Also, you can have Lookout write to another "N" file address, and in the SLC, move that "N" address to the Analog Ouput.
I still have a SLC file for Lookout that has the ethernet enabled (works with Lookout V5.x) but I bet Ryan can send you one if you need it.
I have upgraded to Lookout V6.2 and making a driver object to talk to AB SLC-5/05 on ethernet works great. (I love native drivers, and hate using RSLinx OEM to do OPC (for out ControLogix5000 processors)
If a person can work thru how I/O tables are truly layed out (one big matrix actually) go direct and dont' use OPC.
Remember, this isn't a fault/limitation of Lookout or NI, it is how AB layes out their I/0 table, and how the addressing we see in RSLogix is actually not the true representation of the actual matrix. (and this matrix is all that is actually available, AB just makes it more 'readable' because you (or who ever setup the chassie configuration) told RSLogix what cards are in which slot, so RSLogix can minipulate the table to show it to you more 'pretty'.
If NI would add a chassie configuration to the AB SLC driver, then this issue would not exist. But I don't think we want to do that.
    Hope this was helpful!
