Lookout4.0.1 gets hanged in this process.

Dear Sir,
We are communicating 19 PID controllers working on modbus
protocol, 5 devices working on ASCII protocol (Digital I/Os)
and six Flow totalisers running on Modbus protocol. All the
driver objects used, are inbuilt driver objects of Lookout4.0.1.
We have purchased 500 I/Os Runtime plus Development version
of Lookout4.0.1. Our problem is that the Lookout gets
automatically hanged after working for about 12 hours.
Is this a problem of using Runtime cum development version
or something different.

It is fairly rare to see a case where Lookout hangs after running for such a long time. The first thing I would do is verify that 4.0.1 build 61 is being used on the runtime sysyem. You can determine the build of Lookout 4.0.1 by selecting "About Lookout" from the "Help" menu. If you do not have build 61, I would strongly recommend contacting NI to download the free upgrade. Contact National Instruments E-Mail Support through www.ni.com/ask. Make sure you mention your current version of Lookout, Serial Number, Keycode, and Purchasing Company, as NI must verify your license.
One possible cause of hanging behavior in Lookout is a problem with a hardware driver. However, since you are able to run for 12-hours with no problems, then it sounds like a hardware d
river problem is not the issue.
One other question. What operating system are you using? The general rule-of-thumb is that WinNT and Win2000 systems generally have much higher relibaily than Win95/98 systems.

Owb Process Flow getting hanged/stuck .

Hi,
Problem description :- We have designed a Process Flow in OWB our project. The Process Flow is scheduled to run at 12.00 AM daily Dutch timings.
We have been facing a problem for around 3 months wherein the process gets hanged/stuck in between without giving any specific error message.
There isn't any kind of locking happening in the background as well. The OWB log gives the message "Forcibly deactivating execution with audit ID 1660235 ",
During the time at which the process hangs The process gets hanged in different timings in different sub processes(not in a particular process, so no specific pattern has been observed.)
To complete the process flow, we need to kill the process and rerun it again. When reran, it runs perfectly without any error.
The above error message appears in the log only when a process hangs. There is no such kind of logging during a successful execution.
Can you please let us know when and why does this message appear in the OWB log file.
Is there any specific kind of settings or configuration parameters that needs to be set to resolve this.

You might want to check to see if you have anything "parallel" running
We recently had an issue with one of our mappings where one day it decided to just stop working and "freeze"
Our DBA found that we had a Oracle hint for "Parallel" in the code and removed it. After that the mapping ran fine.

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Then reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

There seems to be some issues in your web.config files. Please make sure your Web application entries for membership and role provider(at central admin site) are matching with Web.config entries. your error
"Cannot get Membership Provider with name CustomRoleProvider.
", indicating that you may have used role provider name in Membership provider text box or in web.config.
Also please make sure that you have correct entries in all 3 web.config files - Central Administration , Security Token Service (STS), Web application .

Oh, PLEASE IGNORE the line:
deleted everything under HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\SYSTEM (folders 0000 to 0004)

In general, I've found the Nik plug-ins to be the least problematic of all that I use. Unfortunately you haven't provided enough information so that help can be focused on your problem. So here are some of the standard steps to take.
1. Make sure you are running Nik's latest versions. There were earlier ones that didn't work properly with ML.
2. Which plug-ings are the problem?
3. Have you tried the repair/rebuild option on your Aperture database? Often what appears to be problems with a 3rd party item actually stem from some sort of fault in the database.
4. If you're really stuck do the following steps: A. Delete the Nik plug-ings. B. Repair/rebuild the database. C. Download Nik's latest versions. D. Reinstall. E. Test.
This is a generic problem solving approach that fixes many things. Also, you should examine if it is a particularly type of file or set of photos or something specific in the images you are working on. A corrupt image, for example, can produce really weird things on occasion.
Hopefully some of this is useful. If not, more detail is needed.

Firmware Update Process
To safely update FW, I recommend doing the following: Download the FW file from the support site first.
Disable the auto update feature on the router.
1. Save router config to file first using IE or FF with all security add-ons disabled.
2. Factory reset the router with all other devices disconnected or turned OFF accept for 1 wired PC.

3. Reload or Update the FW using IE or FF. Just download the FW file to your local wired LAN PC.

4. Factory reset the router and then set up from scratch first using the local log in link and test with out loading the saved config from file. Check to see if any problems are fixed before loading the saved config from file. Sometimes you need to set up from scratch with out loading the saved config file. Just safer that way.
PC Web Browser Configurations
What browser are you using?
If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again.
Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
Clear all browser caches.
Be sure to log into the local log-in account on the router first.

Hello,
ECC6 not really recommended on 32 bit Windows
Make sure you have /3Gb and /pae switches enabled in boot.ini file on c drive.
- Please reduce parameters rdisp/ROLL_SHM,
rdisp/PG_SHM, to 6000 and parameter abap/buffersize to 350000 to get
more memory available to run the programme/transaction.

Whenever i try to save any edited or converted or combined PDF document Acrobat software become unresponsive. same issue is there with while i try to insert any new page to PDF from a file, dialog box will not open but it get hanged & become Unresponsive. Hi Dharmender ,
Did you try to repair your Acrobat once ?If not please try the same and check if that helps you out .
Launch Acrobat >Navigate to Help >Repair Acrobat Installation .
Do you get any error message or any prompts when it hangs and become unresponsive ?
Does this happen with any specific PDF or all the PDF'?
Also you could try to uninstall Acrobat once and they re install it if the above step does not work .
Please restart your machine once as well.
