looks like my screen has yellow tint problem, images look more yellowish. Does anyone have similar issue with their mac airs?

This isn't an actually an issue. Apple have recently changed the screens they put in all their devices. If you were to put an iPhone 4 bought on release date next to one bought a month ago you would see that the older iPhone 4 would have a "bluer" screen. This is because the old screens had unnaturally bright whites so the new screens are supposed to be closer to the real colours and give a broader range of colours.

Whenever I turn my imac on it has a yellow tint. I've done the color calibration. Sometimes it'll turn back to normal, but when I shutdown/sleep and turn it back on it'll turn yellow again. Then other times when I do the color calibration, it won't even change, the screen will still have a yellow tint. I have no idea how this happened. Any help would be appreciated.

First, make sure your iMac is or is not on the Apple Repair Extension program: http://www.apple.com/support/imac/repairextensionprogram/ this addresses some video and power issues...
The only way I can make my screen slightly yellow or amber is through calibrating the display while in expert mode:
System Preferences > Displays > Color... from here pick any Display Profile to Calibrate, CHECK the box for Expert Mode, continue without changing anything till you reach 'Target White Point', you should check the box 'Use Native White Point', continue and SAVE AS a new profile name... this should get you back to nuetral white... if this fixes the problem you can always go back and calibrate this profile and tweak any settings you wish

Got a new router this week so that isnt' it. Would I be better off w/o this until Apple gets their act together? I downloaded the combo update 10.7.3 & it helped for about a day... yesterday I still had to manually reset the connection but now it's resorting back to disconnectiong w/o fully going into sleep mode first. Sorry to say this is a major lemon. Help!

Seems unfair... I thought I was probalby having a router problem... got a new router this week. Thst's when we realized we have a computer problem. My next door nieghbor got zero sleep staying up all night while trying to help us figure out what the problem could be. He said if it were him he would have returned the iMac / Lion. Got the new iMac w/ Lion for Christmas but didn't realize until this week that Apple is the problem.... Hard to believe that Apple just has kept on selling this like ... oh No problem! Can't stay on the internet... but will sell you another one today! I'm getting mad... It's not every day we spend that kind of money on a computer . & ALL they can give us is that LOUSY Lion combo update. I can't even stay connected long enough to make a vitamin order with Puritan's Pride... & then the disconnection wipes out my cart... so I have to start over. When are they going to fix this! If the progress bar stopped during the update process, press and hold the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again.
After that start the update again.

While on a call, the iPhone display should go black when lifted to your ear. Is this not happening or only happening intermittently?
Have you tried making calls without your silicone case on? Does this make any difference?
You could try updating or restoring the software to try to rule that out as a cause. If the issue remains after restoring then the issue is probably hardware related and may need to be serviced.

Font has started looking like a screen/raster font?

I've posted two screen shots of a problem that causes the font (that has previously rendered perfectly) to display initially as a screen/raster image.
Once i rollover each of the selections, they refresh cleanly.

Thanks Again Zak. As I formatted my site text, I've consistently selected from one or two fonts listed under the "recently used fonts" pop-up. One thing I notice is that Open Sans Condensed Light Italic does not render in the menu as a sans font.
My site building process involved initially formating text manually followed by use of paragraph styles. May have been the cause of my problem?
If you want, I can strip down one of the problem site files down to 1 page and send for your examination.

Retina Macbook has Yellow tint ... purchased via online store so how do I exchange?

I've just received my BTO Retina Macbook Pro and notice that there is a definite yellow tint. Looking online this is a common problem. But as I'm located in the UAE, there's no offical apple store here, just the online one.
I've compared the issue to my 2011 MBP and using the Retina MBP over airplay to my Sony HDTV. Attached are images to illustrate the issue.
What is the process / where can I go to have this issue fixed?

hey...just got my MBPr 4 days ago. My friend got his as well, and is calling me crazy because I'm bothered by a slight yellow tint to the screen, when the brightness is turned up to nearly full.
I've attached a screenshot. The computer was running for about 25 minutes when I took it. He's telling me that I'm nitpicking because I'm never going to use a pure white background, although pages like yahoo and google have an essentially white background. I've also included an all-black background, and a shot of the google homepage.
Do you guys see it as well? Comparitively, do you think it's a problem. If I decide to return it, it will have to be by mail because I ordered the 2.3 i7 with 16gb RAM, so it can't be replaced by store models.
Otherwise I'm really happy with the laptop. It's blazing fast and designed really well. Just wondering if you guys see a problem, or I really am nuts? By the way, this unit has a samsung display (discovered via the terminal command), not an LG panel.

Yellow tint PROBLEM FW+AI+PS

I am having a serious problem with kuler panel in FW, AI, PS
and with search field in FW + AI.

Cant see the kuler colors as they should look like, because
they are covered with yellow tint (looks like 50% alpha).
This was happening on with my old graphics (geforce 8600gt),
but happens with new (radeon hd4670) one also. Latest drivers,
latest updates, lates everything.. So I reinstalled windows, sp3,
windows update, new drivers, clean CS4 install.. Same freakin
thing. Can anyone tell what is the problem here? I am using
download version cs4 design premium english.

I am curious... did you use calibrated device to help correct
color management problem in your monitor? If no, I recommend that
you should consider to invest in one of those nice
professional-quality calibrated device. In many case, having
corrected color profile set up in your monitor, then workflow
working with your project with "the right color profile" in right
approach, the right way of managing color management.
As you probably already know how important color management
is, so I don't have to go into that further.

LCD as second screen has purple tint!! Help!!

I have just connected a 19" LCD screen to my iBook 14" through the DVI adapter that came with my mac. While the iBook has instantaneously mirrored my desktop, the LCD screen has a heavy purple tint on it. The screen on my iBook is still fine but the LCD screen is unworkable. Everything appears on it, its just heavily purple-ised. Does anyone know why this is, and what I can do about it?

Sorry, my mistake, the LCD screen I am using as a second screen is 17" not 19". I Have tried on another screen (but the same model) so I am sure the problem is with the iBook. I don't really see why the iBook underpowering the external screen would make it turn purple. Let me just clarify, the screen is displaying everything crystal clearly, the only problem is that there is a purple hue or tint over everything. So for example the colour white isn't white on the second screen but purple.

In internet, I found 2 screens( code is not mentioned there) and mentioned that, they r Dialog Prog. screens, they r as below,
1 - Initial input screen-programmer mentioned it as a selection screen-1000
2 - Output screen in ALV grid (Object ALV)
So, when I saw this initial input screen, it looks like same as selection screen 1000 of a report prog., I mean, its containing all selection screen components, like Select-options with out interval, with out extension, blocks, titles for these blocks!!
So,pls. let me know that,
1) How the programmer achived this screen? is he used like,
SELECTION SREEN 1000 START
END OF SELECTION SCREEN 1000
2) How these input fileds r looking like select-optins, parameters, blocks etc.?

Burned DVD looks like it only has one field

I have down converted 1080i HDV material to 480i using compressor. The m2v files look fine in the simulator in DVDSP (4.1.0). However when I burn a DVD and play it back, it looks like it is only showing one field. The text is jagged, and you can see the blocky horizontal lines in the video. I have tried auto fields, upper field, and bottom field. Nothing I try seems to help. Any suggestions?

Doesn't look like charging, screen stays black

My ipod out of charge and now doesn't look like it is charging. The screen is blank when I connect to computer or wall adapter.

To change the locations of your code and design views under Split, go into the View menu and put a check by Split Vertically.
If you are using a version of the program that doesn't match the video (say using DWCS6 with a CC2014 video) it's not going to work well. There have been quite a few changes between recent versions and if your video and DW versions don't match, it's easy to get lost.
Check your version by going to Help > About Dreamweaver.
If you post back with your version, someone here should have links to videos that match it.
