Looks like the big issue in this update is with mail

with Gmail being the bigger of the problems, but Im also having slight issues with yahoo....
Problems arent unexpected. and of course I submitted it to Apple, but I really hope its a quick fix, I rely on my gmail for many things.

its spotty, but definitely getting reported more and more.
Its usable, just have to send a few times, and people are getting duplicate emails from google apparently.
Who knows. Wasnt like this before and Im sure there will be a fix and it will clear up nicely, just hope not to wait too long for the fix, whether it be update or someone figures it out.

I did the diagnostics, the result is that "my connection is working properly." But it seems strange to me that in the same room where I have the router the signal strength is maximum 70%. Or in my room, the signal with the macbook is unstable while with my old pc was full signal.

How do I stop my pictures from doubling when I look in the "photo view". This only started with ios7, and im pretty sure its because my photos are both in my iphoto library and on my camera roll. Help!

Ever since I upgraded to ios 7, i can not look in the photos tab, because every one of my pictures appears twice. I know its because my iphoto library from my computer and my camera roll are being put together, however there must be a way to not have doubles. Help on this issue please!

Well never figured out how to go around this, but I did just manually do it in photoshop. My middle grey and white cards must not be right.

Everytime I check for updates (I have the setting to manual check), an alert pops up in Apple store with the phrase "Lexmark Printer Software Update 2.11" available for download.
Is there a way I can turn off this notification for Printer updates until it is resolved? It is pretty annoying.

Got a new router this week so that isnt' it. Would I be better off w/o this until Apple gets their act together? I downloaded the combo update 10.7.3 & it helped for about a day... yesterday I still had to manually reset the connection but now it's resorting back to disconnectiong w/o fully going into sleep mode first. Sorry to say this is a major lemon. Help!

Seems unfair... I thought I was probalby having a router problem... got a new router this week. Thst's when we realized we have a computer problem. My next door nieghbor got zero sleep staying up all night while trying to help us figure out what the problem could be. He said if it were him he would have returned the iMac / Lion. Got the new iMac w/ Lion for Christmas but didn't realize until this week that Apple is the problem.... Hard to believe that Apple just has kept on selling this like ... oh No problem! Can't stay on the internet... but will sell you another one today! I'm getting mad... It's not every day we spend that kind of money on a computer . & ALL they can give us is that LOUSY Lion combo update. CHANGING APPLE ID/EDIT ACCOUNT INFORMATION/CHANGE ITUNES COUNTRY
Tap Settings / iTunes & App Stores, then tap the Apple ID signed in. Sign out of the current Apple ID account and then sign in with another account or create a new Apple ID http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2731?viewlocale=en_US
Go to settings/facetime and tap the ID there and log out and log in with new ID.
Go to settings/messages and turn off imessages wait 30 seconds and turn it back on, go to “receive messages at” tap on the ID there, sign out and sign in with new ID.
Go to settings/icloud and delete the account and when prompted select “keep information on your device” then turn it back on with the new ID.
To edit account information tap Settings / iTunes & App Stores / Apple ID: / View Apple ID
To change your iTunes Store country, sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you would like to use, tap Settings/iTunes & App Store/Apple ID/View Apple ID/Country/Region

Ipad (OS 5.1.1) using pages incompatible with icloud. If I open up one of the docs from icloud, I can no longer open it on my ipad. Looks like the pages version gets updated to a version that is incompatible with my ipad.

Snow Leopard is required if you wanted to upgrade to Lion, anyway, which you may want to in the future if the latest version of iTunes no longer supports Snow Leopard.

Some people have seen their aluminum uni-body discoloring due to body oils. Go figure.
Normally putting anything over the keys/aluminum will hurt heat disspation, but you may need to use keyboard covers.
Or save up $500/year for new keyboards.
Neither is supposed to be a sarcastic answer. Either one could end up being the solution.

I've received an updater notification from MozillaFirefox.exe that doens't look like the usual prompt. Is it?

I cannot remember the details and the notification box asking permission to update shows only when I first turn on my computer, but not afterward. At the top of the box, it shows: 'A program needs your permission.'
It shows an exclamation mark on the left side of the box (!) Then in the centre, it shows Moxilla Fierfox, then my hotmail name and address, then things I cannot recall, then 'moxilla,,,exe
It doesn't look like the usual updater notification. How can I tell?

Googling around, this looks like a Chromium issue, but I can't find anything newer than 2008. Looking at the code (line 604 in iWebSite.js), there is this:

In this case oTextBoxOuterDiv is an HTMLDivElement, not a prototype-enhanced DOM element, so selectFirst is not defined on it. Odd, though, that this works in all other browsers. In Firegox, oTextBoxOuterDiv is a prototype-enhanced DOM element, so it works.
Any ideas why Chrome acts this way?

For others benefit, here is what happened.
I had installed Logic Studio 9.1 some time ago.......not knowing what all the programs were nor what they did, I created a "Logic Studio" subfolder in my applications folder and put all Logic Studio programs into it so I'd know where they were and could review each at my leisure over time.
My assumption now is that when the updater looks for the Logic Pro program, it looks only in the applications folder. It seems lame that it would not also look in the subfolders of the applications folder, but that apparently IS the way it works. Because my Logic Pro program was located in the "Logic Studio" subfolder, the updater just didn't see it..hence the error message I received when I tried to update.
Solution: I moved all the Logic Studio programs out of the subfolder and now they reside in the applications folder. Ran the 9.1.5 updater and it worked like a charm.

The ipad 1 is not supported by apples latest software updates. The processor just cannot handle the newest ios. Im sure there are various third party apps in the app store to give you more of a look alike ios7 but the first generation ipad cannot be updated due to performance issues.
