Loop in original key also in Arrange area?

Every time you put a loop in the arrange window it follows the project key and it's transposed automatically. I'd like to get another behavior: I'd want that the loop remains unaltered (in its original key) even in the arrange, so that I can change individual notes in Flex Pitch mode. How can I do?

assign a new key signature in global track to the one you want, ie G maj, B min etc

Midi loop not sounding same at arrange area

Hi,
when I drag a midi loops (green loops) into the arrange area it will not play the same sound........ mean I'm not getting the same effect of the midi loop at the arrange area & I don't want use these loop on audio track. I know if I drag the midi loops into audio track it will create an audio loop sounds same effect what I'm listening at the Loop browser but I want to use these midi loops in there own midi track.
Please help me guys

I tried what you said and when I do get the first Capital Violin 2 midi loop and turn it to green. There is a slight staccato sound but not much. When I move the modulation wheel and select the first sound in the piano roll, yes I can hear a dramatic staccato sound. But the minuet I get the play head to the front of the loop and play it from start it is gone again. Quite frustrating. I would love to get that energetic Capita F Violin 2 midi sound but it doesn't have the power or anything like what it sounds in the loop browser.
Any extra tips on how to KEEP the sound after playback would be a great boost to my musical loop understanding.

I am using a 49 E keyboard and it has a Pitch Bend Wheel and a Modulation Wheel to the left of the keys. The volume control on the 48 e is all the way up. That is another problem I have is even when I push the volume up high in the arrangewindow more often than naught the loops don't seem strong like they do in the loop browser.
But again, my main problem is a lack of strong staccato sound.

In Logic Pro, trying to import a drum track from the bin to arrange area, the 'follow loop' box does not appear in the inspector

imported a drum track from bin to arrange area. It will not follow tempo of the project even though it was recorded in this project. The 'follow tempo' box in the inspector does not appear even though it is present on other tracks in the file.
how do I set up the track so the 'follow tempo' box appears in the inspector?

Don't drag the midi into an open Logic project. The tracks won't set up correctly.
'Open' the midi file with Logic as if it were a Logic project. Then all the tracks will be set up so you can start editing them and applying better saved sounds and instruments, but you'll be at a starting place where you can hear what's going on.

FCS upgrade accepts upgrade key but does not accept original key?

I am trying to install FCS2 upgrade on a new MacBook Pro
I have the upgrade key as well as the original key
During the install it accepts the upgrade key and then a message appears asking for the original key
I enter the original key and get the message it is an invalid key
I have checked the original stickers the the characters of the key and they are exactly as entered

The most common issue is not entering the number exactly; e.g.; using a lowercase Lop an uppercase i for a number 1 or using a number 0 for for an uppercase letter O (or vice versa).
Also note that serial numbers from academic or not-for-resale versions are NOT eligible for upgrading. The older serial number must be from a legitimate retail version.
If you have a retail serial number and you're absolutely sure that you've entered it correctly, find your proof-of-purchase for the older version and contact Apple for a replacement serial number: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1861

Logic Pro X loops not changing key when imported

Hi everyone,
I am a newbie and I have found a problem when importing Audio files (Loops) from the Loop section into a song I am working on in the project area. When I do this instead of the imported loop changing its key to fit in with the Key signature of the song I am writing it stays in its own key. For example the song I am writing is in C Major and the imported Loop is in A sharp. I have been told that when you import this loop by dragging and dropping into the project area that it should automatically change to the key of the project which of course is C Major but this is not happening and I do not know why?
When I then try to add other instruments in the key of C Major for example a bassline I discover that playing a bass line in C Major is completely out of the tune with the imported loop which is in A sharp. When I play notes from the A sharp scale over this imported loop it is perfectly in tune so its clear that for some reason the loop is not changing its key when its imported.
Any solutions for this would be greatfully received.

We need Invement Profile Key also in the out report of CJI3.
Is there any Standard SAP report to get Invement Profile Key as well along with normal CJI3 output.
Please let me know in case you find any such Standard SAP report.

Thanks for your input. Yes it is working now after posting cost under same CE as what I have maintained in Base of costing sheet on required WBS..
I was under impression that the cost lying in cost center can be pulled out indepedantly on WBS through costing sheet based upon percentage mentioned in overhead.However I am observing now that the cost posted on WBS is taken as base amount to calculate overhead.
In my case, Eur 100 cost is posted under primary cost element 652100 on WBS and Eur 2000 cost is posted on Cost center under same Cost element Actually I am required to pull out some percentage of cost Eur2000 on cost center to WBS. However,
currently it is taking Rs 100 (posted on WBS) as basline cost and calculating overhead over it and posting it to WBS again under overhead cost element.
Can we handle this through costing sheet or for that Assessment distribution is must? May I expect the answer.

i just had some update today didnt really read it it was with mozilla so i just installed, now my pages were the wrong sizes and the toolbar with the backpage and refresh dosent work also my passwords are not being saved on my craiglist page

Don't worry about the time, as it took us a while to get it done. I learned a few things along the way, about Button Layer Set order, and what happens, once the Menu has been Imported.
Most of it will not apply to your original questions, at least not as I read them, but might prove useful in time.

When you are establishing a foreign key relationship between two tables, a child record must point to a unique record in the parent table. Typically, the child record points to the primary key of the parent, although any unique field or fields in the parent will do.
So, a table with a unique constraint can act as a parent table in a foreign key relationship.
A unique constraint may be replaced with a primary key, but not neccessarily.
A unique constraint plus a not null constraint is functionally identical to a primary key.
The principle benefit of a primary key compared to unique plus not null is that it provides additional information to someone looking at the database. The primary key is the unchanging identifier for a particular record. A unique constraint plus a not null constraint only implies uniqueness. It is somewhat common for unique values to change over time, as long as they remain unique, but a primary key should never change.

Applying colour to the arrange area

Hi all,
i cant seem to change the colour of the arrange area. iv gone to preferences-global-display- arrange and then to custom. i have got the colour shades up and the pens but they are not changing anything. it works fine on my friends mac and logic.
Also, in the mixer the selectors ( single/arrange/all etc) are a grey colour, not a bright blue such as the colour of inserts and busses etc in the mixer.
How can i fix???

Periodically the home key and touch screen are unresponsive

Hi,
I have an iPhone4 and have recently noticed that the home key and touch screen are becomming less responsive. Sometimes I have to press the home key a few times to get it to respond also with the touch screen very rarely does it respond when i swipe to unlock or answer a call. The only way to get the swipe to unlock or answer to work is to press the sleep/wake button which is annoying if trying to answer a call.
Any suggestions?

Track is spoken word. Sample Editor playback sounds like Alvin on a meth binge. Spoken phrase is generated from Textspeech. Textspeech can export files as WAV files or MP3 files. Perhaps a clue?: When exported Textspeech WAV file is dragged and dropped into track in arrange area of new project, it exhibits same supersonic speed. When Textspeech file is exported as MP3 file and dragged and dropped in arrange area track, it plays at correct speed.

If nothing else, this huge list of updates and fixes, shows clearly that the Logic Dev team is working hard on fixing and improving LPX to a major degree.... and from the list of fixes done.. show they do read the bug reports submitted!
As an aside....
I recall how all the 'naysayers' prior to LPX (and in some cases, since...) were proclaiming how Logic was dead, the team was being disbanded, we won't see any further development, the Dev team doesn't listen or care... and so on....... I wonder where those people are now?

Did you download and install the Windows Support software? If you did, did you use the Boot Camp Control icon to set up the trackpad how you want it?

The u, j, m and 7 keys on the keyboard are not functioning properly on my macbook air. In its place are a random assortment of keys (Ex - u = "eqrw" or "IOUY"). This randomly happened when logging back in after sleep mode. No liquid damage at all. Please help!

OK, I fixed the problem by doing a SMC (System Management Controller) reset as follows:
1. Powered off my MacBook and removed everything connected except for the power chord.
2. When powered off, I held "Shift" + "ctrl" + "Option" + "Power button" for 5 seconds or so until the little light on the front started to blink rapidly.
3. Powered up my Mac, which took a little longer than usual to start and tested the "missing" keys which now works perfectly again.
Just added another couple of years usage with my aging mac :-)
