Loosing control to an attacker

Question

Occasionally when using a non Admin account, I loose control of the mouse and keyboard. The mouse starts move around randomly clicking and dragging. This results in apps been open and files moving to new locations sometimes to trash.
If you are in an apps damage to your work occurs. If you are in an editable field or text mode, strange dos like commands get typed.
Often the combination of random clicking and typing results in files being renamed.
It's as if my computer is being attacked by someone who thinks is a dos box.
I've changed the password of the account, but the problem continues.
Has anybody else had similar experiences or any ideas what to do.
The computer is connected to the internet with a dsl line and a fixed ip.

The other thing to check when random interaction like this occurs is whether anyone in the nearby area is using a wireless mouse or keyboard, but this only applies if your computer also has a wireless mouse/keyboard attached. Sometimes the signals can go farther than you might think, and if your keyboard/mouse is using the same frequency as someone else's, and they are close enough, the signals can get crossed, meaning that whatever they are typing can be interpreted on your computer instead. This usually only happens if they happen to be using the same model as you are using, but it's definitely something that is possible. I don't know whether you can spoof a keyboard or mouse interface via bluetooth or not, but I suppose that if it is possible to do that, someone will eventually try it.
So check out your surrounding area when this occurs. Is anyone else using a computer nearby, either in the next room or apartment, or is this happening in a public place?
