hello livet, sorry currently this forum is in english only at the moment, so i'll reply in this language:
you can download the right version for your language from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ and just install it on top of your current firefox. this will keep all your bookmarks, settings and other customizations...

  • How can I get beyond the installation error point 1336 that occurs, after I installed Firefox 3.6.16, when I try to install the latest version update to Adobe Reader?

After installing Firefox 3.6.16, I received an Adobe Reader update alert that there was an update available. I downloaded the update and then began the installation. During the installation, I received the following alert: "Error 1336. There was an error creating a temporary file that is needed to complete this installation. Folder: C:\Program Files \Mozilla Firefox\plugins\. System error code: 5." This prevents me from installing the update -- at every attempt! Is there a user friendly solution?

Hey I have a toshiba laptop and I cannot install firefox because the laptop runs android and there's only version for linux...and if u can tell me how to install adobe flash player too...Any advices??

This is a known problem, but we don't have a solution for it. If your device has the Toshiba Market app, you might be able to download a (possibly outdated) version of Firefox from there.

Either an add-on (or you) set an override for your Firefox version. To clear that:
    (1) Type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
    (2) In the filter box, type '''usera''' and pause for Firefox to filter the list.
    (3) Right-click and reset any bolded lines that contain "override"
    Any luck?

  • I'm unable to install Firefox onto my Windows Vista computer because when I download the .exe file, it doesn't show up anywhere on my computer.

I click on the download button on the Firefox website and it processes as if it is downloading. Once it is finished processing, I'm unable to find the file to install it with the install wizard. I tried it by both running and saving the file. In both cases, the file just vanishes.

  • Opted out of password mgmnt when installing Firefox; now I need it. How to add the feature?

When installing Firefox, there was a list of items to install. I UNchecked the last one (for password mgmt) because I was going to use a different password mgr. The different password mgr (LastPass) wants the Firefox mgr to be installed. How do I add that feature I UNchecked? It does not seem to be in the "add-on" list.
I tried to reinstall Firefox and got the message that I already have the latest version. While writing this info it occurred to me that I might UNinstall Firefox and reinstall it. Or is there a better way?

  • Installing firefox 4 in Linux Ubuntu

    Downloaded Firefox 4 beta3. I'm on Linux (Mint-ubuntu).
I am assuming it detected my OS, because it offered no choices.
    (got a .tar.bz2 file)
I was expecting a self-installing file (like Chrome and Virtualbox provide) where one can just click on the file and it installs (just like in windoze). (you guys really should make it as easy as for chrome - not everyone on Linux is a geek).
I have no idea how to install this. If it's just to extract, I don't know the conventions on where to send it, and have it add the program to the Mint menu.
Could you please provide with detailed instructions or point me to the correct file for download? Thanks very much.

    Hi,
This is really easy using PPA. Just copy 'n' paste these two commands into a console/terminal shell.
    sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntu-mozilla-daily/ppa && sudo apt-get update
    sudo apt-get install firefox-4.0
