Lose of formatting when changing pages

Hi;
I started using the new forum. There are quite a few changes and it will take me some time to learn to use it again. So far I think it looks like it may be an improvement.
One thing I have been noticing is the lose of formatting when I change pages. Usually if I reload the page a second time the formatting returns. Is this a problem for me only or is it possibly something to do with new forum?

We are developing an application on Apex 4.1.0.00.32. This application have some pages with tabular forms and these pages uses a page zero as template. In this page zero, we have added two sidebar regions: a list region to navigate on the application and a help text to describe how to use our application.
The problem occurs when the tabular split the records into pages (since it has more records that it can show on a single page). When the user clicks to change to another page, Apex raises an ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error as described below:

Obs: Our database is in Brazilian Portuguese, so I guess it will be hard for some people to understand the first two lines! :)
We have tried to change the pagination style of the tabular form and change the region model of the help text but the problem still happens.
Does anyone an ideia about what this may be?

I am getting the exact same message, to the line number, also in APEX 4.1.0.0.32.

There are no conditions on the region, and no date string within the Help text. Some HTML tags, that's it.
The Help region renders fine the first time.

Dump template when change page

Hi all,
I create a template. To freeze the first column of my request I must enter a number on the property u201CNumber of data Columns Displayed at Onceu201D of the web analysis item.
But when I put data in my template, I canu2019t change page.
There is a bug:
The initial exception that caused the request to fail was:
java.lang.NullPointerException
What is going on?

I have just seen the source of the problem.
I enter 5 on the web analysis property "Number of new lines". We can't have new line with paging....
When I don't have new line, the paging work very well....
Has anybody ever had this problem ?

"Memory Full" error when changing page setup

I'm running Crystal Reports 2008 and yesterday I had two landscape reports begin doing some weird things:
Symptoms:
-Any change to the Page Setup dialog throws the Memory Full error (even just bringing it up and clicking ok)
-The reports were created as landscape but are displaying as portrait in Page Setup and in design view
-A handful of fields are displayed without text in them. If I delete these fields, save, and re-open other fields will not display information (in design view)
Troubleshooting:
-If I remove ALL fields from the reports, save, and re-open the report tells me I have an invalid printer but will allow me to change Page Setup.
*While this works, I really do not want to create the reports again from scratch.
-I have tried removing and re-installing Crystal 2008 with no luck. However, it remembered my recently opened reports which makes me think the uninstall didn't remove everything.
-I have rebooted to make sure all memory available is free.
Does anyone have troubleshooting ideas for me? Thanks in advance.

The link takes me to a page saying "The system cannot find the file specified. " I also tried downloading the .exe version and got the same result.
I was able to find an SP3 download but after unpacking the files and selecting my language I get a message "Crystal Reports 2008 SP3 Update can not install because the version of the product on the system is too low."

What are the things to be changed when changing page name, model, jws, etc?

Hi Everyone,
My jdev version is 11.1.2.3.0.
I have developed one ADF application with one page and it is working fine.
Now i need to change my page name so i modified and it is also working fine.
But while deploying it gives error like model-viewcontroller already exists because previous application without changes is already there in server.
without disturbing the previous application i need to deploy this changed application as a new application to the web logic server.
For that what are all the changes i need to perform and where to perform?
Please give suggestions.

You only need to change the webroot and the application name (you may try with the same application name, but I', not sure it works then).
When you then deploy the server take the ear a new application.

Images sticking when changing pages

Hi,
I'm having an issue with Interactive PDFs exported from Indesign CS6.
On some pages when you move on to the next page, a portion of the previous page will remain visible as a band across the page. If you click on the affected part of the pageit immediately changes and displays correctly. This happens whether moving forwards or backwards through the document.
Any advice on what might be causing this and how to remedy it? Again, it's only certain pages which will do this and it happens even if you change the page order.

Hopefully the graphics device is ok, the laptop is only a couple of months old and is a fairly high-spec and good quality HP machine. The system seems to otherwise run the rest of the CS6 package without any faults.
I have noticed however that this error only occurs when viewing the files in Acrobat, not in Adobe Reader 9.

Flash menu that highlights the selected item when changing page?

I'm trying to create a menu in flash that will highlight the

Imagine you have a link in a page that opens the contact >
email page.
Is there a way to get the flash menu to highlight the
"contacts > email"
item when displaying this page?

Website Shake when changing pages

Hello,
We've developed a new part of our website on www.ingles.babylon-idiomas.com/es/ using DIVs to nicely centralize the page on the screen. The problem however is that with every page change, the website does a little "shake" as the right hand scroll bar disappears and appears again. Any idea what we can do to get rid of this "shake"?

This is caused by the browser having to work out the position of the div's then built the tables.
Also try changeing all the left and right margin values to -
margin: 0 auto 0 auto;
To centralize the display in the window, this is only required in your outer wrapper div, not every div.

HELP! Trying to print on an envelope (logo/return address), but when change page/paper size, prints blank page

Before now, I have really only used Acrobat to convert and send uneditable documents (just to give you an idea that I am not used to trying to edit docs or print them out in paper sizes other than 8.5 x 11. However, I have a document (created by a graphic designer) that was designed to be viewed as a sample, not really to be printed and now want to print it directly on an envelope. I have created a custom paper size in the Print Setup menu and have also cropped the PDF page size to be similar (although not exact) to the envelope size. When I try to print it, my printer prints out a blank page.
Any thoughts?

You need to select the paper size in the printer setup that corresponds to the letter size that you are using. If you just crop to the approximately correct size you may find that the orientation of the page is wrong and various scaling options in the print dialog box can further confuse the issue.

Lose all formatting when publish

When I published my website I lost all the graphics and the
fonts. Now it looks like notepad. You can see it on
www.insurancesalessecrets.com. I don't understand why it looks
great in Dreamweaver and then when I publish it even loses the
fonts, the colours and the graphics. I used a template to design it
but am not very experienced with this sort of thing.
Can someone help me?

If the link is pointing to a file on your hard drive (i.e.,
it's broken),

CS4 .html files made from .dwt lose all formatting in broswer

Hello all,
I've been working to customize a template I found online, then create a site based on that template. I've got the template visually worked to where I want it. However, any page that I create using the .dwt file is broken (loses all formatting) when viewed in a browser (Firefox or IE).
I can't figure out where I've gone wrong. When it happened the first time I figured I mucked up the template code when I was customizing (very little customizing, really just changing menu item names and adding a contact form). I started over from the beginning and it is happening again. All suggestions are appreciated. Screenshots of the the problem follow. First is the .html file created from my template in design view in CS4. Second is the page viewed in IE, all formatting lost.

Some attachments never see the light of day if you use the attachment method. You really need to use the small camera icon in the top toolbar.
However, in this case, seeing a picture isn't going to work, people need to see the live page to try and troubleshoot your problem otherwise it's all a guessing game :-)
Just a guess here, if you are seeing the page correctly in Dreamweaver, and the formatting seems to disappear when you upload the page, then I can only 'guess' that possibly the stylesheet isn't linked correctly,. or the stylesheet hasn't been uploaded, or something in the page or the stylesheeet is throwing your page out.

I can't say, but if that's the answer, trying to get it fixed might be impossible. Instead, I'd suggest compressing your attachments to create a .zip file. Decompression at the other end would take no time, and if the server changes the attachment's file type, just change it back to .zip.

Photoshop Elements 8-Change of file format when saving deletes filename

I have been using Photoshop Elements 8 since last May and have always been irritated that when I add text to a photo it always defaults to PSD format for saving. I have gone to the preference options to see if I can set jpg as the default and it does not offer that option. This means that every time I save after adding text I have to manually select jpg to get the format to change.
Although this has been a pain, I have done it thousands of times as I have edited photos.
My problem is that suddenly from one day to the next when I change from PSD option to jpg the filename disappears and I have to go back and manually type in the whole filename. The only changes to my computer settings that I can think of that might have affected this is that Microsoft Updates had 2 updates. First was Definition for Windows Defender-KB915597 and the other was Unpdate for Windows 7 for x64 based systems-KB97690.
I saw a similar problem posted by sandwitch2 on Feb. 13th about PSE6. 99jon suggested the change to permissions of adding "everyone". I tried this and it did not correct the problem.
Any other suggestions are welcome.
I have found Adobe's insistance on saving as PSD irritating to say the least in the past. The inability to change this in preferences has made me very unhappy, but the quality of their product has outweighed the hoops they make me jump through until this. Their search feature in support is pretty much worthless. It either brings up nothing if you keyword is to limiting or brings up 200 responses if it if too broad.
I have been a user of Photoshop Elements for over 6 years updating as new editions have come out. I am to the point that if I can't get this current problem fixed I am uninstalling Elements 8 and going to another software. Adobe's proprietary requirements and poor support page are just too much of a pain to deal with.

I was told that if I save in PSD if I send the photos to share with others only those with Photoshop Elements can open the files. That is why I try to use jpg. Is that true?

How do i change .pages to a .doc without microsoft? I've tried going to file format .doc but all of the selctions are grey as in i can't even click on them?

How do i change a .pages to a .doc format when i don;t have microsoft. I've tried file>format>.doc, though all selections are grey as in a cant't select them? Please help.
I can't afford microsoft yet and this is a new macso im very new to this and have had so much trouble with this sort of stuff. ive googled it but nothing seems to work!!
