Losing Document property Information on Documents

Hi,
We had lot of document libraries with metadata in MOSS 2007 version. We migrated to SharePoint 2010 with DB attach without visual upgrade and everything came up normally and no issue. Recently we upgraded to 2013 with DB attach and did visual upgrade and we
noticed that losing metadata/column properties missing when revising document or updating and checking back in the document. Can you please help how to keep document property information when revising a document.

Is this all types of metadata or just some columns.
Have you enabled versioning on any of the lists and libraries and are you able to track when these values are being lost? SharePoint doesn't tend to lose data often.
Are you able to reproduce the issue or is it sporadic?

How can I add adobe air file property information

the AIR application executable (file properties) does not include any information from the AIR description file (application.xml).
Is it possible to compile an AIR application with file property information?

Instacal keeps losing my board information

I am using Meilhaus Elec software to set up and calibrate four boards that i am using to log data and control eqipment via a labview programm i have written. However, after i have set up the four boards (2x USB-TC, 1x USB-3104 and 1xUSB-1208F) using Instacal and then run the labview programme, the programme only runs for a few seconds then crashes. After the crash when I go back to Instacal some of the boards are missing or the board numbers have changed. Theni have to re-start the PC otherwise Instacal can no longer find the boards.
I have the four boards routed through a USB hub and then taking a single USB connection back to the PC. The PC is a HP with 2 GB RAM and a dual-core processor and when I run the labview programme without the boards attached it works fine.
Do you know of a reason why Instacal keeps losing the board information and connections? Or is there some known conflict when using it with Labview that could explain the problems I am experiencing.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

It is possible to post your code? What did you mean by the program crashes? Did you received the error code “1- Invalid board number” (ErrHdlng.VI from MCC)? I have a LabVIEW program with four MCC boards: a USB-TC, a USB-3103, a USB-SSR24 and a USB-ERB24. When I used a USB-HUB, sometime I lost the communication with a board, but after hours not after few seconds (I removed the USB-HUB). Without the HUB the program runs for days.

My application was working fine some time back. I am not sure what has changed.I am receiving following error :

When using custom or 3ed party Adapter you might receive this message "Loading property information list by namespace failed or property not found
in the list" in the event log”
Usually this error caused by when deleting default application (BizTalk Application 1) that used to store message context
property field schemas that are provided by adapter vendor to
You can solve this problem by simply reinstall the adapter or selecting repair adapter option. Or GACing and deploying required property files
manually.

We are facing issue in BizTalk 2010 837 Institutional claim process. The Error is “Loading property information list by namespace failed or property not found in the list. Verify that the schema is deployed properly”.
We have used Custom Pipeline component to update the promoted property like MessageType. When we drop the XML File in Receive Location it generates the XML file through Pipeline but promoted property MessageType is not updated in Receive Location and throw
the error as mentioned.
We have the schema which is not duplicate as well as different version.
Could you please help on this issue.

There are two issues here.
“Loading property information list by namespace failed or property not found in the list. Verify that the schema is deployed properly” issue is normally due to the deployment issues. This more often occurs when you have same schema with multiple
version and this issue is due to the sequence/order in which these two schemas are deployed. If you run the following SQL query in your BizTalk management db replacing it with your target namespace of the schema deployed
SELECT *
FROM bt_XMLShare
WHERE target_namespace like N'http://YourTaggetNameSpace'
You shall see two version of the same schema listed and both of them should have Activate flag set to 1. If any of the schemas is set to 0, then you will have the above mentioned issues. This is due to the way the different versions of the schemas are deployed.
You can undeply both the version, deploy them together or deploy the older version first and the later version later.
And for another issue of custom property not updating the MessageType property, debug the pipeline component code. This issue has no direct impact to the above issue. If you you’re your Message Type to be updated and if it’s not getting changed, then debug
the code and check why its not been updated.

Pages losing documents

Background
Long time lurker, first time poster. However, like a doctor, dentist, or lawyer, I suppose many folks don't present questions here unless they are in trouble.
I use an iPhone 5 and iPad Mini (1st generation) (both running iOS 8.1), as well as a 2011 MBP (running Mavericks), a MB vintage 2008 (running Snow Leopard), and a PC (my work machine - with i5 CPU and 8GB of RAM). On the iOS devices and MBP, Safari is my browser; on the PC and the MB, I use Chrome. Pages is my exclusive word processor for my iOS devices, and iCloud syncing is integral for transferring documents between desktop/notebooks and iOS devices.
On to the problem: I've recently been plagued by iOS Pages not saving documents when I back out of them. In other words, I cannot locate my work on either the iOS device or iCloud after backing out of the document. This is quite infuriating, as I can lose an hour or more of time (which is billable) and I know of no way to interstitially save documents in Pages.
Is there a fix to this problem??

Documents saved on the iOS devices will sync via iCloud drive, which is NOT visible on Macs running anything lower than OS X Yosemite. Documents saved on the Macs will NOT be visible on the iOS devices.
The PC should support iCloud drive.
Since not all of your devices support iCloud drive, you should turn it off. I suspect this is the root of your problem.

You will not lose your stuff. It is possible that some applications will no longer be compatible with the system. In any case, it would be unwise to upgrade without having made a backup.

Illustrator save as SVG: losing character tracking information

Hello,
I'm trying to save two different versions of a certain SVG using Illustrator.
The sole difference between the two versions is that a certain text element's tracking attribute was set.
It seems though that Illustrator is completely ignoring the new attribute (the two resulting SVG files are almost the same - there are some negligible position differences) which in effect causes the resulting SVG to display incorrectly.
The relevant text element is saved as a single element in which case I assume the tracking (letter-spacing in SVG) is most relevant (as opposed to outputting the text by wrapping each character in a in which case the tspan's position could be used to implement the tracking implicitly).
Am I missing something in regards to saving as SVG from Illustrator?

Itunes Losing Ablum Artist Information

For a long time now i have suffered from this problem, even across different pc's with the same library. I have scoured the web endlessly to no prevail as to what is causing it or if anyone experiences the same issue. Basically i have a large library and i keep it all perfectly organised but i'll come to it and albums would have lost the album artist info and more often than not also the track number within that album, occasionally artwork too. Maintaining a large library when this inconsistently happens is impossible, i have stopped media center and media player from viewing or appending my musics location and this still didn't stop it. I don't know whether it's related but i, like many others have a ridiculous amount of itunes temp files - over 80gb! What am i missing?

Are you using Last.FM?
That seems to mess with the temp files.
iTunes creates a temp file as it updates/rewrites the *iTunes library.itl* and *iTunes library.xml* files, which it does all the time.
