Losing iCloud emails - when I receive emails into my iCloud accounts they disappear very quickly, either after one day or once I've opened one of them on either my iMac, laptop, iPhone or iPad. I've checked all my account settings and they seem fine
I have 5 email accounts, 2 iCloud based and 3 using another provider. When the iCloud mail arrives on any device and either it's opened or a day passes, they disappear...sometimes into Trash and sometimes who knows where. I've checked the settings on every device and they seem correct, and identical to my non-iCloud accounts. I had this problem once before and frankly don't recall how it was resolved, which obviously wasn't successful.
Any ideas?

Yes, post your settings here, if you really have verified the settings and they are correct there is nothng else to offer, so post them here and let others advise as to their 'correctness'

HELP!! I have been to several tech support sites and have checked all of the settings for my Iphone 4, which appear to be on the correct "on" position HOWEVER when syncing with Icloud/Itunes via my Windows PC (windows 7) the Photo Stream comes up short 4 or 5 photos. WOW! That font is difficult to read. But, see if this support document helps you http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3989. Photos stream is based on date and photos more than 30 days old are removed. Photostream is designed as a temporary storage to allow you to download the photos to the computer.

My external speakers have stopped working. A circle with a line through it shows up when I try to adjust the volume. I have been in system prefrences to check all the sound settings and everything is set properly. What do I need to do to fix this. Help!
Though I have doubts for success, you might try a SMC reset. It can do no harm. Otherwise, barring suggestions from others, the Apple Store or qualified repair facility is the last option.

Are these the settings you are using?
Setting up your Verizon Online email with Mac OS X Mail
Start OS X Mail.
From the Mail menu, select Preferences.
Click Add Account.
Click the Account Information tab.
From the Account Type menu, select POP.
In the Description field, enter a name for this account.
In the Email Address field, enter your Verizon Online email address (format is [email protected]).
Type pop.verizon.net in the Incoming Mail Server field.
In the User Name field, enter your Verizon Online user name.
In the Password field, enter your Verizon Online password.
From the Outgoing Mail Server menu, select New.
The SMTP Server Options screen appears.
Type smtp.verizon.net in the Outgoing Mail Server field.
Note: Leave all other settings in the SMTP Server Options screen with their default settings.
Click OK. -
My iPhone and iPad are on my moms icloud account and i just got a macbook air and i want all my devices on my own iCloud account - i went to all of my settings and it won't let me change my iCloud account on my phone and iPad. can i change this?
You will have to do more than simply changing settings in your moms account. To set up everything in your own account, go to Settings > iCloud > scroll down and press sign out. From this, check out this link for how to setup iCloud on all of your devices after making a new icloud account on your phone: https://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/
Before you set that up, you will have to make a new iCould account which you can simply do after you sign out of your mom's account on your devices.

I plug my computer into my stereo and use the remote app on my iPhone to control it. How can I control my wires iPad with the remote app on my iphone when it is plugged into the stereo? they are different iTunes accounts.
I think this is probably a sign that your network could be better than it is.
Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel or adjusting your multicast rate.
There are other types of problems that can affect networks, but this is by far the most common, hence worth mentioning first. -

After getting a new desktop I downloaded iTunes and authorized my new computer and then de-authorized my old one, When I try to update my 5S it says my phone is not authorized and list my wifes email address as the account holder and not mine. It sounds as though you are experiencing an issue with an Apple ID and authorizations. Based on your post, it sounds like you are familiar with the authorizing and deauthorizing process. The Apple ID in question (your wife's email) may be originating from the iPhone you are attempting to update. Is it possible that your wife created an Apple ID or iCloud account which is signed in on that iPhone? Bad idea.
What information do you want to share, exactly? You can share contacts, reminders, and calendars with other iCloud users without the need for both of you to use the same iCloud account. You can authorize both phones to use apps purchased under the same Apple ID without sharing an iCloud account.
Sharing an iCloud account is a bad idea in general. There is too much opportunity for someone to damage or delete data that will affect both. -
When trying to log into my bank accounts (2), I always get a security Challenge Page even though I have repeatedly checked the box to register my computer as a private computer. When I attempt to get into these same two accounts using Internet Explorer, I skip the Challenge Page and go directly to the Log In page. What settings do I need to change in Firefox so that I don't get the Challenge Page every time?
I have had exactly this problem - Firefox - version 11, but when I updated all my plug-ins (go to Customize Firefox - about halfway down - '''''Check your plugins''''') and restarted Firefox the problem vanished. Hope this helps as this seems to be a fairly large issue.

I upgraded to OS7 and then found a new gmail account on my iPad. It has put all my ntlworld emails into this new account and says they are all unread. How can I delete this unwanted account?
If his Gmail account is under the Gmail app and press the app until it wiggles then press the extra deleted. If this account is under the Apple email and then you can go to Settings, mail contacts calendars and then select the account and remove it.

I have checked all of my permissions and contiue to get this message after 68% mark when trying to install Adobe flash player. User does not have sufficient privileges to install adobe flash player. A required file (C:\windows\syswow64\macromed\flash\flashplayer.xpt:5) could not be written due to insufficient permission.
