Losing socket data

Question

If I quickly recieve many messages from a host I start losing some of the messages (I don't see them in the buffer). Below is the code snippet. Am I not reading the buffer correctly? If I substitute "readFully" instead, then I lose ALL incoming messages.

Interesting, it almost sounds like we have the same problem... my implementation is quite similiar to yours, however I'll only lose a byte here and there... never a huge part of the message or anything.
