What is up with my system? I'm restarting more or less dialy due to sound loss. While its playing, sound is great, normal, then just disapears..
This has happened since I installed 10.6.8.

Does it go black during normal usage, and is it Application related? Is your software up-to-date? Any peripherals? - try removing all peripherals and see if this issue persists.
- Tried reinstalling the OS already?

It could be an accumulation of all sorts of bits of info and depending on the last time you cleared the system cache either manually or via a factory reset on that phone you might find a difference there after doing so with many other system caches.
Clearing the application cache removes temporary files and frees up memory - your personal settings or information remain intact.
Be sure you clear only the application cache and not the application data.
From the home screen, tap Apps.
Scroll to and tap Settings.
Tap More.
Tap Application manager.
Swipe left to view the All tab.
Scroll to and tap an application.
Tap Clear cache.
You've now cleared the application cache.

is the frame rate really 29 frames per second?
If the properties that you just posted are representative of your source file, what project preset did you or the
project set for the project preset? If you are not sure, please tell us the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Size,
and Pixel Aspect Ratio under Edit Menu/Project Settings/General.

Thunderbird seems to stay open even after I close it. Then I have to restart to get it to work.

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.

My hard drive died, it was replaced, now I don't have lion - can I get it back?

I got my Macbook Pro LAST July (2011), and because of the timeframe I got it in, I was able to enter a code and get LION for FREE!
I loved the hand gestures, but my hard drive died, and I got it completely replaced.... it seems like it went back to snow leopard... it says 10.6.7
how can I get lion back without paying for it like before? Is there a way?

Apple standard protocol is to replace the original OS that shipped on your Mac when it was new.
It might be wise to upgrade that 10.6.7 to the 10.6.8 before you install Lion.

Below are instructions to enter some UNIX shell commands. The commands are harmless, but they must be entered exactly as given in order to work. Some of the commands will line-wrap or scroll in your browser, but each one is really just a single line, all of which must be selected. Sound Issue: Have to restart ATV after Airplay

After using the ATV as an airplay device from either of the macs, or ipods and I go back to playing something from Netflix or from a Home Share, the audio is all pitch warped and slowed down and garbly. Only fix is to unplug and plug back in the ATV.
Will there be a fix for this in the new firmware? This happens a lot as I use the ATV for an airplay speaker a lot.
Or does anyone know of a fix?

Your experience isn't typical, as such it's likely to be an issue with your specific set up and not something that will be resolved by a software update.
I don't have many suggestions for you other than restarting all your equipment including your router. I just thought I'd mention this to avoid you just sitting there and waiting for the next software update, which I doubt will help you.

Going CRAZY! Lose Internet Connection Have to Restart to Get Back.

I have had my system for about 4 months now:
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum
AMD 64 3200+
1 GB Corsair Extreme RAM
1 36 GB Raptor
That should be enough comp info as I am not sure that it is related to my problem anyways, but I know how technical forums are, everyone always wants to know your system. OK, here is the problem:
I start my compute, then I can connect to the internet without a problem. I can surf and be fine, i can IM and download torrents, everything is fine. Now let's say as an example that I decide to go out. I am not the type to turn off my system whenever I leave, so I will leave it on. When I come back after 4 or more hours (Im not sure of the exact amount of time) my connection is still up, but I cannot surf the internet. Here is the catch, if I have a freind on in Trillian, I can still talk to him, i Just can't surf the internet. My BitLord is still downloading even, just no connection to any webpages. I have IE and Firefox, and I cannot surf through either of them.
PLEASE HELP ME!, if more info is needed I will provide.

Just my two cents on the subject.
Torrents you say? that makes a lot of connections. It is not unknown that it can bog down a router, so that it can not handle any new connections. Connections that you already have made may continue to work. Some routers can not handle it at all, and just shuts down all traffic.
I struggled with such an issue last summer. It took me the better part of the summer, working all day, to find the cause (I had no clue to what it was, so had to test everything from scratch). Solution: Try to set your max global connections, or max connections per torrent to less. Also make sure your upload speed is not more than 70% of your total upload bandwidth, since that can also affect the connection the same manner.
