I am going crazy I have had an order cancelled without my day so and 3 cancelled days where no one has turned up over £300 pounds worth of billed phone calls to speak to someone in India that had no clue
I have had to book 3 days of work unpaid
And once again the 4 th time and I'm sitting here waiting for someone to turn up
This is not acceptable and I can't even speak to anyone to camel my order I'm disgraced with the service I have revived and have tried to complain several times and not had one phone call bk from the non existent complaints department
I DO NOT WISH to speak from someone in India again and would like someone who knows what they are doing to call me today to cancel my order and repay me the money that has been taken from my account
I have been waiting 4 months for a phone to be put in my daughter moves in to the property this weekend and also had a care line booked in for her which now I have to pay a cancelation charge as I have now had to cancel them as well

  • Home move total disaster...losing the will to live

    Moved house 4 weeks ago and the BT move was a total disaster. I currently have a neighbours land line to my BT Acccount as well as my own. I can see all the calls they make, and I am being billed for them. I also have their Infinity attached to my account instead of my own....spent the last 4 weeks trying to get this sorted, but I end up spending hours on hold and nothing seems to get done. I've had to use my mobile and it has cost a fortune in call charges. I've taken three days leave for the engineer not to turn up.

    Ok i have'nt had time to get the ethernet cable or change anything round,but blow me,
    now when i'm doing my internet banking like today the bugga KEEPS DISCONNECTING,Ahhhhhhh.
    So between the **bleep** speed,it packing in,plus i'm still waiting for the other half of the package,ie
    Evening calls which have been payed for in full.
    To say im cheesed off would be an understatement....Phew
    And the Q is if i get the ethernet cable will that stop it disconnecting.
    BTW i never had an ounce of trouble with my old modem

  • Losing the will to live... is the Edge animate software full of bugs? Non-Responsive %, px, auto... all fail to do much at all.

    I've now spent a good 20 hours racking my head and the various settings... and I'm nearly ready to look at Googles HTML5 and web software offerings, which is frustrating since I pay for the Adobe Creative Suite already.
    What would I like to do: (I've simplified my overall aim)
    Have a non-responve banner, 1200 x 100.
    When I scale down my browser window I want one item (i.e. a box) to stay in the centre, even when the rest of the scene has been cut off. (*it does not need to scale)
    - I've tried the presets for responsive layout which do nothing when tested in the browser (I'm using Safari, I'll test in others once it works...).
    - The scene is set to be centred, which works. The whole scene is centred in the browser.
    I've tried setting the Top, Bottom CSS controllers for the object to % which I believe is correct, but still no success...
    I've now tried every other variable I can think of with out success using the some what confusing mixture of '%', 'px' and 'auto' settings.
    I've also tried the responsive layout presets for a square drawn directly inside of Edge Animate, and an image dropped into the scene, which has more preset options (all of which seem to have little to not effect whether my scene is responsive or not).
    Can someone please put me out of my misery and either tell me I'm missing the obvious problem. Or tell me the software is indeed broken at the moment and doesn't like Apple Safari.
    And incase your wondering what I want to do... I'm trying to emulate the setup this website has at the top of their website. Where the embedded vimeo player (I've succeeded in doing that in Edge animate... yey) remains centred whilst a foreground layer and background layer change as the browser window is scaled... (they simply get cut off by the browser window scaling, aligned to the left, centre or right they're not responsive...)

    And the saga rolls on.  BT called me this morning with another update.  Openreach still cannot find my address or my BT phone number / line.  It will take another 4 working days for Openreach to contact BT with an update.  The BT department who are calling me are the 'fast track' team in Blackburn who I'm afraid to say are anything but.  He seemed completely indifferent and thought this was completely acceptable.  When I challenged him for an explantion of why more delays, he tried to hind behind the "it is not our fault, it is Openreach" excuse.  They sent an email to Openreach last Wednesday 25 July, they received an automated reply on Friday night so too late to do anything until today, and the reply that came back is there is a fault with my address / phone number that they need to fix, which is what I was told last week, and apparently BT cannot phone Openreach, it all has to be done by email.  Unbelievable!  So the clock starts again from today and the waiting game begins again.

    Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 and Premiere Elements 13 are standalone products.
    So, you can have both on the same computer, but only open one for your work.
    The classical recommendation is to finish a project in the version in which it was created since there
    is no guarantee that a project from an earlier version will open in the later version. Probably will, but
    no guarantees. And, when you do explore this, do it from a copy of the earlier version project. Once you
    take the earlier version project into a later version one, you cannot go back to edit the later version edited
    project in the earlier version program.
    If you have both versions (9 and 13) on the same computer and you have not moved, deleted, renamed any of the version 9's files/folders,
    right click the saved closed Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 project file, select Open With, and then Adobe Premiere Elements 13.
    (Your 9.0/9.0.1 saved closed project file should be found in Libraries/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Elements/9.0.)

  • Customer Service - lost the will to live

    Knowing my BTBA mobile contract ran/runs out sometime this month I thought "Better ring up and check that the old contract continues". BT should have told me "In 2days it runs out and you will get a text message" but started on a marketing call - during the call I had time to establish that for an HTC Hero 3g want £20/month for 24mnths + £1.95"admin fee" was a better deal for me than BT anywhere 250 + £5 "unlimited data" + £50 for the handset.  Made the mistake of entering into the "debate" that BT for 18months was a better deal than 3G for 24 months and that it would cost less.  Thought I was winning until BT moved the goal posts and replaced their number 18 with there recent signing "Numero Seventeeno" .  This striker is 1 month younger and does't carry the middle aged spread of £20 and a £49.95 handset.  BT were revitalised and came back strongly with mathematical wizardry that has only been seen before when Man Utd were bought using their own money.  The game petered out into a draw when the home side turned off the floodlights rather than risk their classy defender Infinity (a contract of 1p/month costs the same as one at £100/month if the contract lasts until infinity)
    After a bruising game a complaint/suggestion was in order. Back to the internet & typed 533 characters on the lines of "long standing customer" "know I shouldn't of been drawn in" "a call that wasted your time and mine"etc. Filled in the boxes and click send to be told 255 char limit.  Redraft the text and send - new window opens with a "Loading" icon.  Nothing happens - it could be a browser issue so start again in IE8 and again the never ending "loading icon". Think! - I've still got Google Chrome open maybe that's the reason.  Close all browsers and start with IE8 only - no change so lets try the telephone complaint route.
    Get the complaint number off the BT site and can't find the right option (knew BT would be extremely busy with an exceptional number of calls) so not wishing to disturb them I thought I'd try some other contact numbers (maybe sneak in via the residential call and take option 2) Couple of calls and then after being requested to support the world cup bid I was asked if i'd like to take a 5 question customer service survey.  Why not? tell them what a fine job they are doing and call it a day. What a mistake - it's India - "can i help you?" - explain why they are talking to me and I am then told that I'm speaking to them about a customer survey.........managed to call a time out and tell the operator that I was trying to make a complaint, give the account details and brief summary, given another 0800 number and an offer to transfer.  Ring Ring and answered ! an American voice? conversation about why I'm calling and I don't think I'm speaking to the right person - call restrictions/blocking and international roaming were mentioned. Nice chat but I'll ring the 0800 number I've been given - "American again!!?? and this time its High Value Accounts.  I think not but she would like to check my account just to make sure and yes I'm right 50 free minutes just doesn't quite make it.  Anyway I've lost the will to live and call it a day.
    Just about to put the phone down when it rings - its 1571 ring back that I've got a message.  Listen to part of  the message and guess what? It's the automated BT customer service survey that doesn't know its talking to a BT telephone answering service and because one of the buttons on your "telephone keypad" is not being pressed it keeps repeating the instructions on how to  score your answer to the question.

    If the error is in fact due to the employee discount Verizon dropped the ball here big time. I never was able to get past the ECPD error when upgrading my device tried for90minutes. I did the new customer and it went through without a hitch but i would have to change my phone number....not good!! Decided to give it one last shot on Apple Store App and was able to have the iPhone 6 Plus silver 16GB reserved...got a reservation number since they were having issues connecting to verizon. So happy!! Been month to month over 2 years waiting on the 6!!! If you don't care to change your number go as a new customer or use apple store app. Good luck and good night!

  • Losing the will!!! What do i have to do to get my ...

    Moved to this house just over a year ago and it seems to be one thing after another with the line. Lost count of the amount of calls i`ve made to the faults department!
    Latest carry on began when we returned home on wednesday 16th April after a few days away, the broadband light was orange and the phone line was crackling and had noise interference.
    Called BT who arranged an engineer to come on Tuesday (22nd) he turned up and said as it was an intermiitent fault it could be hard to find. He went to check wires outside and said he would call me to check the line. However the next thing i knew was i got a text from BT saying my fault should be now fixed!
    Within half an hour or that text coming through the internet went off again and the noise was still on the line.
    Called BT AGAIN who said they would monitor the line for the next 24 - 48hrs.Another couple of hours later i thought so when is my line going to be fixed it they are just monitoring it ?? So i called again and I was told a "specialised" engineer was needed and a visit was booked for this morning, Friday 25th between 8am and 1pm.
    So i waited in all morning for the engineer, stewing as each hour went past without anyone turning up. After 1pm i called BT again, the assistant contacted openreach control centre and called me back to say there had been a system error and the appointment hadnt been booked properly, I had recieved several text messages about the visit too!!!
    Annoyed to say the least. I did blow my top - understandably ? She then went on to tell me that it had already been passed onto a case manager who would be calling me back tomorrow and discuss and rearrange an engineer appointment !! Why couldnt she go ahead and book it is my question ? Waiting another day means it will be another day later when the engineer visit is!
    I work from home and need internet access, the last couple of days you'll be lucky if i have had 2hrs in the day when the internet has been on.
    Why do i feel as if i`m fighting a losing battle ????????
    Please can anyone help me.

    As you are on a residential service you have to wait for engineer availability priority is given to Business users as they get a different service level agreement also using a residential line for business use can leave you open for suspension or cancellation of service as it breach's the terms and conditions

  • Lost the will to live! - Billing query

    I notified BT in October 2011 that I was moving house, since then my bill has been incorrect each month.  Firstly I was charged a cancellation fee, which I called and this was refunded.  Then I was billed for  two broadband and two calling plans,  each month I call and each month this charge is removed and my direct debit reduced with a promise that it won't happen again. 
    That was November, its now March and my bill is incorrrect again.  Now somewhere in the middle of this some one managed to remove the additional broadband charge, but this has not manged to happen with my extra phone plan.  Yes the guys when you phone are nice and remove the charge and amend the DD, but why should I have to repeatedly call each month.  The amount of time I spend on the phone is ridiculous.  I've lost count of the number of calls that I have made to be promised the same thing each month and then never have it delivered.
    I'm about to move again and I'm not prepared to transfer with you again as you've still not managed to sort the last transfer out.  I find it disappointing in this day and age to find BT making incompetant businesses look professional as you don't seem to be able to manage the most basic billing error.
    I wish to cancel my BT contract but have been told that this will cost be around £200, what about my hourly rate for the time spent on the phone to get my bills corrected. I'm sure we could come to a deal with you only owing me a small amount for my time!!!

  • Losing the will - Bay 2 1TB Hard Drive can't install Vista AT ALL!

    I have a new Mac Pro and installed a Samsung Spinpoint F1 1TB hard drive in bay 2, solely for a Vista install (for editing AVCHD in Sony Vegas) but I cannot under any circumstances, install Vista on any partition, be it the full, halved, any combination at all - you name it, I can't install.
    I get as far as the partition screen in Vista and his is where things slip up - I have had the Boot Camp partition (only on a split, never on the single partition) and it just will not let me install. Not under any circumstance.
    This is appalling, I have been onto Apple who have escelated it to one of their engineers, he did not have a clue. Way to go.
    So, I was wondering if anybody had any ideas or has experienced this?
    BTW, I have not tried to install to the OS hard drive yet - don't really want to mess with it.

    There are a number of things you can do, but in every case, you have to delete any FAT partition, create NTFS before you can install. In some cases, a restart from Vista DVD is required before it proceeds.
    In one instance, I had to remove the OS X drive, but that may be why some jump to wrong conclusion about drive bays making a difference - they don't.
    You got it installed so you must have been at least somewhat successful.
    I use Disk Utility to create and format the drive 99% of the time. If you are going to dedicate a drive to Vista, even multiple FAT/NTFS partitions, I would set the partition table (Partition: Options.... in Disk Utility) to Master Boot Record rather than GUID.
    Let Windows do all the updates through multiple reboots before you insert the Leopard DVD to add Apple setup.exe services often called "BootCamp drivers."
    BootCamp Assistant is unnecessary and I don't think well designed even yet for use on Mac Pro UNLESS you need to install Windows on the same drive as OS X, such as you find on iMac/MacBook series.
    Vista DVDs are now available with SP1 already, which is what I would buy today if I was buying Vista.
    say "had" because a couple of days down the line when I tried to boot into Vista, I was met with a black screen and flashing cursor.
    Any hardware changes? installed drivers?

    bought a brand new mac book pro this week, OS X LION 10.7.2
    wanted a mac for using indesign as screen resolution and smooth operation.
    PROBLEMS I AM HAVING
    I wanted to download the free indesign trial (why not) and can't install the following...
    1. Adobe download manager WONT install onto my system, it downloads and brings up a window with what I can only describe as a see through parcel
    I double click it and it tries to unpack / install it, once the blue bar is complete I don't see anything relating to adobe again.
    2. Adobe AIR will not install onto my system, however the download window does show a nice red adobe parcel, again a certain amount of installation occurs and then nothing...
    the whole point of forking out on the pro was so i could do my companies flyers and graphic design and ive hit a brick wall with adobe!
    is anyone facing a similar problem or is it a problem that is due to be resolved or is it my machine?
    please if somebody could help me on this matter id be so grateful. I am a virgin to the mac os although everything else is very impressive so far.
    if i buy the in design CD software would it install (not really ideal as i want the trial, but as a last resort)

    If the installer doesn’t start automatically when your product download completes, you can start it manually.
    Make sure that the download is complete.
    If the downloader did not indicate that the download completed successfully, do the following:
    Check to see if there is a Start Download or Resume Download shortcut on the Desktop. If so, double-click it. Akamai Download Manager removes the shortcut after the download is complete.
    When you started the download, you were asked where to save the files. Navigate to that location. If you can't remember the location, search your computer for a folder called “Downloads.” Look for one or more files with the Adobe product name. On Mac OS, there should be one .dmg file. On Windows, there should be a .exe file and possibly a .7z file. If you see any temporary files ending in “.part,” it means that the download hasn’t completed. Go to your Desktop and double-click the Resume Download shortcut.
    Important: Some Windows product downloads include two files: a .exe file and a .7z file. To install the software, make sure that both files fully downloaded and located in the same folder. Otherwise, an error may appear when you start the installer. Errors include "Windows cannot open this file" and "The file archive part of Adobe [product name] is missing."
    When you are sure that the download is complete, double-click the .exe file (Windows) or the .dmg file (Mac OS) that was downloaded. Follow the onscreen instructions.
    Try this and see what happens.
