Lost 3D guides and references for my video in different views

All of the sudden I can't turn on my 3D guides(X,Y,Z) and in top view I can't see any of my video references in order to move them around in the space.
I tried switching view, world and local mode, also grid and guide options.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

found it ... I had them off in my view options, I had a long week end.
Thanks anyway

  • Any recommendations or references for managing video content in iMovie 11?

Any recommendations or references for managing video content (Events, Clips, Thumbnails, Projects, etc.) in iMovie 11?
I just finished importing all my digital videos and understand the .mov files will be large, but want to make the most efficient use of my disk space and iMovie 11 as possible.  Any recommendations or references to other resources will be welcomed.

My suggestion would be that in the future, they upload photos only to iphoto, and upload video clips directly to iMovie. In the early days of iOS, going through iPhoto was the only way, so it is a habit that I have had to break.
With iOS 5 and 6, iMovie now recognizes the iPhone and the iPad as cameras.
I agree that the Consolidate Media command should bring over iPHoto movies along with the photos. I suggest that you go to iMovie/Provide Feedback and let the developers know that you would like this feature.

  • Upgrading to new version and references for repository export

    Hello,
We have made a reference for repository export / import in MDM7.1 sp2.
Now we want to upgrade to the newest version of MDM 7.1 .
Is this reference automatically upgraded to the new version too or do have to upgrade and then start with a new reference?
    Thanks in advance
    Harrie

    Hi Harrie,
You need to download the latest upgrade patches from Service Market Place. And install them.
    1. Browse to SMP - https://websmp105.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700001827872008E
    2. Navigate/scrowl down to section - 'What`s New - Release Notes'
3.Select the latest patch you need >A window with details of that Release opens up > Select 'Download Corrections' > add patch to download basket > 'Download'to download the patches.
Your SMP ID must have Download authorization for dowloading the patches.

  • What is best mac and software for home video editing and creation

I am about to buy a mac to capture 30 years of photos, film, and video (multiple formats).
I want to then edit a series of videos to make movies to capture our family history.  I know I will have a lot of conversions to make and will use a local video transfer place to do that.
I am not worried about price.
My goal is to make a series 30 of DVD's each about 1.5 hours in duration.
I have a lot of organizing, editing, publishing and storing to do.  I know it will take me a long time.
I am about to purchase the mac and other things needed.
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Dave

I do LOTS what you are about to do.
I think I can confidently say I have tried all software and the vast majority of video converters. Here is how I do it.
    Computer:   Mac Pro
Movie editor:  iMovie 06, (more expensive than iMovie 11 but well worth the price) I have iMovie 11, but I would not use it for making DVDs.
DVD authoring:  iDVD 09 / 11  ( iDVD has not changed in a couple of years, just make sure you're using iDVD 08 or later).
You will also need a A/D coverter. (Like the Grassvalley ADVC300)
I've played around with countless other conversion systems, ranging in price from $79 to $399. Short verison, this is the ONLY unit to own. No dropped frames at all, even with questionable quality tapes, no jitter, great color, excellent sound quality. Zero setup with iMovie 06 and iDVD 09/11.
This is a prosumer deck. The time code function is alone worth the price if you have old analog footage. Absolutely NO "Out Of Sync" audio.
ADVC300 is for anyone who wants to do editing and is concerned about quality of color and speed, for the novice it is an incredible gizmo that will restore VHS tapes to a state close to the original fixing midtones, highlights and shadows on the fly. Not only can you simply convert analog to digital you can actually manipulate the signal going in (if you want to).
A bit pricey but it WORKS.
    http://www.grassvalley.com/products/advc300
The program that comes with the ADVC300 has some nice filters that can improve video and audio of the source material.
I also own an Elgato EyeTV,  it's in a drawer somewhere. The ADVC300 gives much better results ESPECIALLY WITH TAPES.
iMovie 06 and iDVD 09 is 100% "lossless" combination and my DVD's look like they came from Hollywood!

  • Pros and cons for posing video to youtube for use in iWeb

    Hello
Can someone explain the pros and cons of posting video to YouTube for use in an iWeb website instead of iDisk?
    Thanks
    Carl

Carl ~ Some of the following points have already been mentioned above, but anyway...
Pros for posting videos to YouTube are:
Viewers of your video wouldn't be using up your limited .Mac data transfer allowance.
Once your site is published, if subsequently you have to do a +Publish All+ from iWeb, you wouldn't be uploading your video yet again to .Mac ~ saving time and usage of your limited .Mac data transfer allowance.
YouTube videos have a wide audience and popular features such as ratings, playlists, comments, etc.
Cons for posting videos to YouTube are:
Limitations on size and quality of videos and their unappealing presentation style. For example, compare YouTube's presentation style and limited size options with that of a +.Mac Web Gallery+:
    http://gallery.mac.com/emily_parker#100471
Perhaps a compromise would be to post your videos to YouTube (for the publicity) and link from your iWeb site to a +.Mac Web Gallery+ (for its elegance and avoidance of iWeb re-publishing it.)

  • Setup guide and prerequisites for BI IP

Hi all. I have been trying to find a setup guide/installation guide for SAP BI IP. Like a step by step guide with prerequisites and such. Is there a place on SAP.com where I can find this or where should I start searching for this? I've tried searching the forums - but it seems that either the forums searchengine is broken, or there is something wrong with my computer. I just can't find any matches... for anything... Weird.
    Thanks in advance.
    //Anders

Thanks guys. Couldn't really find any installation details/prerequisites on this site though: Integrated Planning Links
The note 1000009 talked about the ASU-toolbox. I presume this is another thing that you have to install before you can use it? Is it available per default in the BI delivery or is it another GUI/program for this?
All I really want is to find "How to install BI Integrated Planning" and "This is what you need to run Integrated Planning"
It almost feels impossible sometimes to find installation guides and how-to's regarding the more basis part of an implementation.
So any takers on this? Am I just looking in the wrong places, and if so, please guide me to the right place!
    Thanks in advance.

  • BC SETS creation and usage for sap mm  point of view

    Hi All,
Need Information About  BC SETS  creation and usage from sap mm point of view.
Thanks in advance for sap mm forum guys.
    Regards.
    Parameshwar.

    Hi,
Customizing settings can be collected by processes into Business Configuration Sets (BC Sets). BC Sets make Customizing more transparent by documenting and analyzing the Customizing settings. They can also be used for a group rollout, where the customizing settings are bundled by the group headquarters and passed on in a structured way to its subsidiaries.
BC Sets are provided by SAP for selected industry sectors, and customers can also create their own.
When a BC Set is created, values and combinations of values are copied from the original Customizing tables into the BC Set and can be copied into in the tables, views and view clusters in the customer system. The BC Sets are always transported into the customer system in which Customizing is performed.
    Advantages of using BC Sets:
    1.     Efficient group rollout.
    2.     Industry sector systems are easier to create and maintain.
    3.     Customizing can be performed at a business level.
    4.     Change Management is quicker and safer.
    5.     Upgrade is simpler.
To create BC sets follow the below step:
Choose Tools ® Customizing ® Business Configuration Sets® Maintenance in the SAP
menu, or enter the transaction code SCPR3 in the command field.
    Choose Bus.Conf.Set ® Create.

  • PRE9 and support for 1080P video

Does PRE9 recognize 1080P for import and export to YouTube and disc burn?  Thanks, L.

We're seeing a lot of reports of problems with that camcorder lately.
The problem is that, for some reason, Panasonic has designed it to record as 50p or 60p rather than the standard 50i or 60i. This makes it incompatible or difficult to work with most consumer video editing systems!
About the only software that's guaranteed to work with it is the software that comes with the camcorder. Although a post on the community forum at Premiere Elements support site Muvipix.com seems to indicate that JohnF has found a hybrid solution.

  • Lost user name and password for my second account

I have had a personal Skype account for years. I recently created another account to explore teaching thru Skype ( it is suppossed to be my business account. I am a Math tutor). The problem is what I don't know what I did with my new account user name and password. The user name must be something like "professorserna" and the password I don't have any idea. In my bank business account I see the two charges:
04/30/2012 PREAUTHORIZED DEBIT SKYPE COMMUNICAT IAT PAYPAL 1204 30   $9.99
04/30/2012 PREAUTHORIZED DEBIT SKYPE COMMUNICAT IAT PAYPAL 1204 30  $10.00
    ( Why two?)

Hi, gasernag, and welcome to the Community!
Might you recall the e-mail address you used as the new account's registered e-mail address?  If you do, as if you were searching for a new contact, search using said e-mail address - the new account name should appear in the search results.  Then, you could apply for a new password, the token which will be e-mailed to the registered e-mail address for the new account.
Here's how to request a new password:
    https://support.skype.com/en-us/faq/FA109/I-ve-forgotten-my-password
In order to file with Skype Customer Service to inquire what the nature is of the two charges, we first have to secure access to your new account!
    Best regards,

  • Motion and Imac for Short Videos (5 min or less)

I am going to produce short videos for streaming on the web. They should not be over 5 min.
I have decided to buy Final Cut Pro Suite and a new computer. Of course I want the best setup for the least amount of money. (for my needs).
I have read other posts on this topic. I know that the ideal setup is to configure a Mac Pro (and spend upwards of $4,500.)
Question is: will Motion work on 2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme
    2GB memory
    500GB hard drive1
    8x double-layer SuperDrive
ATI Radeon HD 2600 PRO with 256MB memory
( I can add 2 additional GB of Memory and buy and external Scratch disk).
I just want to know if its possible to use Motion with this setup (or Final Cut at all) to make these short podcast videos.
    Thanks All!

I have a 2.3ghz dual core G5 and 1.5 gigs of RAM and Motion and Final Cut and all the apps that come with it work just fine. Additional RAM will help with some of the more intense actions- I find that using the color correction 3-way in Final Cut is excruciating. I'm also using FCS1 and hear Color (in FCS2) is RAM intensive. I have used FCS2 on someone else's G5 and it worked fine. Lots of people even use FCP on MacBook Pros.
What I'm saying is- I don't see any reason why it wouldn't, but if you have a nearby Apple Store, I'd ask one of the Geniuses there. Of course, you should always check the requirements on the software box before buying.

  • Set up guides and keep for use

I would like to have guide presets that I can save for prints. For example, I want to set up a gide that shows half an inch around any 5x7 or 8x10 that I work on. That way I consistently know how close I can crop the image and not have to worry about the frame covering part of the head of the individual in the portrait. Assistance would be greatly appreciated!

  • I somehow lost my "Tools and reference" bookmarks on my imac-snow leopard. I still have them on my Macbook Pro. Can I somehow traansfer them?

I still have the "Tool & reference" bookmarks on my Macbook pro--can I somehow transfer them? Or is there some secret place on the imac where they may be hidden.?

In Safari, Export Bookmarks creates a HTML file of your entire bookmark settings.
Click the Export Bookmarks menu and answer the navigation prompt on where you want to place the file (same as any save file operation).  It will then create a HTML file in that location by the name you specified.
The way you use that file is with the Safari Import Bookmarks menu.  You click it and it will ask where the bookmarks html file is.  Navigate to it and safari will import the entire list of bookmarks.
You probably wouldn't want to do this in the same Safari for the same user because what's the point? But you can move that file to another user account (differnet machine for example) and import the file there to have all those bookmarks in that account's safari.
I believe safari imported bookmarks into a sub-list in the bookmarks menu.  That means you may still have to move bookmarks around to get them to show exactly like you want.  Select the Show All Bookmarks menu and a window will come up showing your bookmarks.  You can then drag items and folders around to the way you want them presented.
