thanks a lot.

If your iPod is set to update automatically try disabling then reenabling the artwork again to get it to reload:
2. Disable "Display album artwork" in iPod>Music tab and click Apply.
3. Syncronise the iPod with iTunes (Right click on the iPod icon and choose Sync from the menu)
4. Re-enable "Display album artwork" in iPod>Music tab and click Apply.
5. Syncronise the iPod again.

  • Lost all images in Keynotes for your college lectures

    Hello,
I spent a great amount of time developing 15 keynotes for an art history course.  I've upgraded to  a new macbook (early 2013 retina) and bought the Keynote 09 5.3 .
Now I've lost all images on my slides?  This is infuriating! I copied the folder of presentations to an external drive.  They also do not show up when accessed from the old macbook using the drive.  Nothing is corrupted on the external drive but these keynotes.
I see images on the thumbnails.  But the slides show placeholders.
    Please help!

All Images is not a location. It's a list.
    Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Hi, using iphoto 6, i suddenly lost albums: they are still in the directory, but no pictures in some albums.Using finder, I can locate the pictures and even get preview. But impossible to import them. Anyone can help? thanks

Try these in order - from best option on down...
    1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
    2. Download <a href="http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/"><b><u>iPhoto Library Manager</b></u></a> and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
    3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 6* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Rolls and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Roll Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

  • Seeking Help with Album Image Issues in iPod Classic

    Hi folks -
I have a new 160 iPod Classic and have two album image-related issues I'd appreciate some help with.
In the case of several albums where I'd associated my own art with them in iTunes, the formatting appeared off in my iPod due to the vertical/horizontal proportions. So I corrected the images, replaced the images via iTunes, and re-synced. All of the old images were replaced - except for two. Is there any way to get my iPod to recognize the change to these two images, as it did for all the others?
Secondly, my "The Allman Brothers Band Live at Fillmore East" album was appearing twice in both the Cover Flow and Album list. That was strange, except that after the latest sync it now appears six times! It's only in one place in iTunes, and not erroneously set as a compilation or anything. This is the only album displaying this behavior...
Thanks for any suggestions or advice!
    Frank

  • How do I delete album images?

I've discovered I can drag and drop album images to correspond to my music in iTunes. However, I've occasionally "missed" and now some songs are associated with the wrong album art. I can't figure out how to delete those images so I can start over (or reduce file size). Does anyone know how to delete album art (but not the songs) from iTunes?

Right-click the song that you want to remove the album artwork from, then go to Get Info. Go to the Artwork tab. Click on the image that you want to delete, and then press the Remove button below.

  • Problem with album images (firmware 2.2)

I recently upgraded my iPod Touch (1st generation) to firmware 2.2, and I've been having a problem with my album images. Some of my album images appear black in cover flow and when I'm playing a song from the album. However, in cover flow, I can see the image when it appears at an angle (not the main album I'm looking at). There are also some albums that are the opposite - the image is viewable when you're looking at that album but is not visible from an angle in cover flow.
I've been able to fix some albums by re-copying the songs over to my iPod and then copying the cover art. But then that will mess up some albums that I had fixed previously.
This is very frustrating. Has anyone had this issue and found a way around it?

I have the same setup and the same situation. It would be nice to have fixed.(Maybe in 2.3)
Sorry I don't have an answer but if i find one I'll post it.

  • Lost Album

I just purchased a MacBook on Christmas eve and after a weeks use I decided to become a iTunes user with one of my wife's authorizations. I downloaded an album I liked and was quite happy with the quality. After a few days the new MacBook decided not to work and die. Unfortunately I wasn't able to do any backups and lost my 1 iTunes album. I had the MacBook replaced with an update to a MacBook Pro and didn't want to aggravate the people at Best Buy about what was on my hard drive. But now since having the time to deal with how to recover my lost purchase and the equipment to do backups I was hoping to be able to resolve my dilemma and replace the lost album. I really don't know how to start so any info or links would be most appreciated.

Purchase it again or fill out and submit this form.

  • Lost album artwork on my ipad2 how do I recover it?

Need help to recover on my IPad2  lost album art work?

Restoring your phone to an earlier backup will replace the data on your phone with the data from the earlier backup, so you will lose any more recent data.  Your only other option would be to purchase third party software that can read and selectively extract information from your earlier backup file, such as iPhone Backup Extractor.

  • Album images disappear when I transfer music to my iphone

    Hello
Album images disappear when I transfer music to my iphone. I have my music lying in Apple Lossles format and transfer my music to my iPhone after iTunes har convert the music to AAC format. How do I get ITunes to transfer my music with album images?

I am so frustrated with my new iPhone 5 that I want to throw it against the wall.  I did the turn in your iPhone 4 for an iPhone 5.  They said to go to itunes and add your music.  Well, I have been trying to do this for the last two days.  I tried to call support but I have to pay an additional $49.99 to actually talk to someone.  I need some one that can actually walk me through the steps.  I read that you have to reset to factory and then go to itunes to get the thing to work.  My question is - will I lose all my pics too?  So what are the steps to reset to factory and then what do I do next (on iTunes).  Please help if you know the answer.  If I can't get my music, I plan to go back and turn in this phone and buy a different non-Apple phone!

  • I have an iNano, 16 gb,  and loading music with the image of the album cover seems to take a huge amount of space.  When one buys music via iTunes, is there a way to not have the album cover image,  or how do you load music with no album image...?  Grizzw

Is there a way to download music bought on iTunes and not have it include the  Album image.  Seems the images take up a huge amount of space on my iNano.   OR,  is there a way to  load it onto my  iNano,  just the music,  and not the image...?
    Grizz49

The album art takes a very small amont of space.

for purchases from the iTunes store do this:
connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.

  • How to erase album images to liberate space?

How to erase album images to liberate space? when you erase it manually, Itunes automatically download that images again and I don´t want it

turingtest2   Thank you very much, now I have to erase to much music because the IOS takes up too much space as about 4 gigs. Your new 16-gigabyte iPhone 5S actually has 12 GB of space when you buy it.
    Thanks

  • I lost my images from my hard drive and now I can not access them in Lightroom. What can I do?

I lost my images from my hard drive and now I can not access them in Lightroom. What can I do?

Your images are truly no longer present on the hard drive(s)? Have you had your operating system do a search for them?
If such a search fails to find them, here's what I would do, in order
Look in the trash can/recycle bin
    Restore from backups
If you don't have backups ... well, why not? ... find a program on the internet called an "undelete utility" (free versons are available) and then download and install it and run it. If you are going to do this, then do not perform any other tasks on your computer except find the program, download it (if possible to a different drive than the photos were stored on), install it (if possible to a different drive than the photos were stored on), and run it. In the future, you will need to commit to making regular backups of your photos and of your Lightroom catalog file, no excuses.
If that doesn't work, but the thumbnails still appear in Lightroom, you can probably recover the thumbnails from Lightroom via a plug-in, but these would be low-resolution versions of your photos, if you really need instructions on this step, write back

  • Moving Album Images from Itunes to iPod

How do I move the album images from iTunes to iPod? Can I do this without updating the whole song, for example just updating the album image. I'd like to keep my play count the same as the play count on my Library is much lower.
    Thanks
